You forgot to grab the Broken ATV at the first base... It gets too cold after 21:00 some time. Also, you can switch on automatic scanning in settings( No, you can't print Circuitboards yet. You need to unlock them in the Tech Tree first. In the morning, look for the red Thermometer icon to the bottom right to know when it's safe to go outside. This may be BEFORE 8am... When building or grinding/jackhammering things, look for the 'glowy' points. Hitting those accellerates the process... When looking at a rocks. look to the lower left of your screen. It will tell you what you're looking at. DO NOT go after the Meteorite! It's Uranium and Radiuoactive! Leave it until you get the ROVER! The PROBE is also a waste of time right now. It contains a 'Pendrive' with 10points of research in a specific field. And you need the workbench of that field in order to use it. And by that time, you need much more than 10 points for each unlock. So they're really not interesting unless you can pass a probe landing site on your way to or from an abandoned base, really. The weird base with 3 'towers' was a mining site. The boxes beneath the towers are rock haul trailers for a ROVER. The large stucture is a Rock Crusher.
Didn't you see the circuit boards in the containers at 17:10? Those "things" are small miners. You can't print circuit boards, but you can stack 12 of them in special circuit board containers.
Ive just started my first stay on mars with this anniversary update. But im having problems with the grinder, cos whenever im in a derelict base my game keeps crashing and my PC goes off and restarts, any ideas ???.. Its only crashing when i use the grinder. Same on medium, high or fantastic settings. My card is a Nvidia geforce 12gb 1080ti, with an i5 4.5ghz and 16gb RAM.
@@darkularity Look at the texture settings again .... if like me you used the setting at the bottom that is actually the low texture setting as in "8th" use full texture instead .... wierd way of of listing the settings!
a new game was needed as they changed the saving system to fix save state of items. so no longer will you reload the game and a random rock will respawn or a part of a base respawn or your base go poof. yur not meant to be fully charging all time from a solar panel. your meant to build a battery charge spot in base and hop swap battery as needed. also speed is based on how much power the socsket has. so 3 solar tied together charge faster tahn 1. also the reason your battery low is due to not turning off light.... lights need power and lightin gup the daytime isnt optimal.

Are the textures in the game this low quality or you're playing on low settings?
It's the game, I play with all settings maxed.
