I think you gain electrical point doing stuff like charging the atv as well. Just having solar panels or windmills I believe gains you some too if you don’t have enough material to keep building panels.
the game is new to me, have been playing for more than 20 hours over the last 3-4 days, and have been struggling to understand the logical details, and then you show in approx. ½ hour all that I couldn't understand .... Thank you so much for showing how to make and set things up and not just cut things out! I think the game is great and got my son to buy it too (then we just need multiplayer / co-op) 😁
The closest command center Base gives you a broken ATV. Edit, I almost forgot the fuse box in the base control the plug-ins in the base. Full health gives you full stamina, not sleeping lowers your max stamina bar that can only be reset by sleeping.
You'll have a power plug in the canteen, at the battery charging station and in the rover. And repair the fkng workshop. Why do you think the game shows you signs that the WORKSHOP NEED REPAIRS?

Use the pliars in ur inventory to repair tools
You can use your repair kit to fix your blow torch and grinder ect
