I don't think he knows what he is talking about because if you hook up your generator to a battery and it don't spin like a motor then it is bad if it spins then it's good plus it polarizes the generator so it puts out power to the battery
How do you get the back part of the pully off I'm changing it as it was a soft Chinese product and it failed and let me down so I need to put a new one on asap
It should easily pry off with two screwdrivers, one on each side in the slot on the pulley. First, set the pully upright in a vise or find a way to keep it vertical. Us a towel or cloth to protect the shaft and don't keep it to tight. You just want it upright for 12 hours. Then spray just a little PB Blaster on the shaft so it can soak down in there. Leave it overnight. Like using a Crock Pot to make meat tender you can probably pry it off with a toothpick in the morning thanks to the PB Blaster. Worked for me. Otherwise use a gear puller. Autozone rents them for free with a deposit.

If anyone was confused before watching this, they would be twice as confused after,,,it came up on auto play,And made me laugh!
Thanks I've busted many pulleys by not doing this properly
