  • $130.00 for a new Generator??!!!!
    I'm going to try and put new bearings and brushes in my old one. The Generator works but makes bearing noise.
    Shouldn't be too hard.
    Next Video is processing as you read this....probably a couple hours away

    Actually the outlet hole on the generator backing plate has to point to the bottom. Looks like this generator was replaced previously and they installed it wrong.

      I don't know.... im sure a 6 volt generator is different in some ways.

    When taking the crank gears off was thinking since you heat them to put them on can you heat them to remove them? Will take a little extra time with a propane torch but seems like it would work. Let me know if it's doable or not. Thanks Tim

      Sure, you can heat them to take them off….probably a good idea.

    • @TimsWorkshopTJY

      that's what I was thinking. don't need another tool just heat. haha

      @OkFixer  5 месяцев назад

      Ohhh…without the puller? Sorry, I didn’t read this correctly….Oh no… even with heat it’s almost impossible. And you will possibly mar up the gear. That puller they developed works great.
