  • Started with a 2' x 4' plate of 3/4". Cut four large gussets @ 18-20 IPM. Yes, the water was too hot to reach into when I finished...:-)

Is nesting possible using ad360 and langmuir fire control? Or mach 3 only?

How deep is the water pan on the standard crossfire? Do you forsee the same issues of cutting into the bottom of the pan with the crossfire pro and using the hypertherm85? On .750 it looks like you have your plasma dialed in perfectly with almost no flame taper is this correct? Im leaning towards a cf pro and a hyp85 like you have. You have done well with yours. I ENJOY and learn from your videos keep up the good work

The stock water pan is right around 2 in deep. And yes, I have already ended up upgrading to a heavier, deeper stainless pan on my Crossfire Pro. The stock stainless pan is perfectly fine for a 45 amp plasma, but there's just not quite enough water for a 85 amp. I'll upload a video soon of my upgrade...

Would you recommend putting the plasma cutter in it's own building, away from other machines? Looks like it generates alot of steam, fumes and dust.

That depends. Ours is currently in a truck garage/mechanic area. It doesn't create a problem. Now if it were in an attached two car garage, it might be different...

What torch height are you using ? And do you get a bevel cut ? 1/4 inch I get a bevel . Still working out the kinks

I have the Pro now with torch height control and I use the .06" standoff with machine torch shield. Generally, if your consumables are good, your air is dry, and your speeds are right, bevel is minimal..

Joshua Zimmerman I keep adjusting , I’m using .06 height on mild 1/4” at 39 ipm 45 amps
and I have two air water separator one at air compressors and one at plasma cutter plus one built in plasma cutter.

A slight bevel will always exist due to the physics of the plasma swirl...

What size air compressor are you running?

120 gal Atlas Copo with twin 7.5HP pumps. It's the main compressor for the whole shop. Way overkill for just the table...
