- This is it. The peak of the Fummins build! We get some 24" alcoa semi wheels with 35" offroad tires on finally and boy does it look amazing! we also do some other mods, then hook up to the trailer and get ready to head out of state!

If he does a sound system he has to do some proper dsp tuning.

Taylor my friend, I loved the Miata build, I love the drifting, I loved the RX7 build but this build is one that truly encapsulates my ultimate dream F350 build.
Not overdone, not underdone, in my eyes it’s looking absolutely perfect 👌🏻
The only thing that would beat this setup would be the trailer in matching black with polished rims.
Edit: so happy for you brother, you’ve worked so hard to get this build to where you are now so you really deserve to have the outcome that you’ve got.
For sure i say he just wraps this trailer black and upgrade the wheels to match the truck with some polished aluminum. Having the full deck kinda sucks because then to get to the front tires you have to crawl up on the deck
I feel like it’s still missing one thing that the white truck had and that’s an aftermarket Cowl hood but the build process has been super fun to watch and I love the fummins I’ve never seen a swap like this uploaded to RUclips

Higher stance with the 24's still looks great...she's a work truck and looks ready for anything. well done..
This may not be my favorite style of wheels, but it’s not my truck. Lots of respect for all the work you’ve done on the Fummins, and how stoked you are on how it came out. Only matters that the owner likes the look.
I like the wheels. I didn’t think I would but they look good on this try to me. But those spiked lug but caps have got to go! Especially on the front. To me they look ridiculous and they look like they’ll kill someone. LOL 😂
I think it looks great, though I generally like a lot more sidewall on truck tires. In my opinion, 22's would add an extra inch of sidewall and it would look more balanced... but then again my truck has 17" wheels on 35's so I really like tall sidewall for running things over.

Get a leveling kit and some helper bags for the back
I wouldn't get either, airbags ruin the ride of the truck, speaking from experience on multiple trucks. A passive system like Timbren works a lot better, it only engages when the truck is loaded. Basically a better version of an overload spring.
Nicholas Bonnett airbags don’t ruin the ride
Not only do they help with towing but you do have to take into thought that bags will also make ur drive even smoother like ur on marbel and bumps non-existent

I agree, leveling kit and bags. That way when towing you're great and when you're not you can get that low life look. Overall tho bro looks great, not normally a fan of semi wheels but you've definitely made me a believer lol

@@BierdopjeNL I used to work as a heavy duty truck mechanic and trust me, those things are brittle and break/fall off really really easy. Even the twist off ones. They also are far from having any sort of actually point to them as it is rounded off quite a lot.

Biggest thing I do not like about this modification is the spike lug covers.

Taylor there's automatic wheel balancers called centramatics that you can buy at the truck stop. They're a stand-alone system that doesn't require putting beads in the wheel or anything. Google them and you'll see what I mean. I run them on my semi and they're AMAZING. Absolutely amazing. The beautiful thing is they re-balance each wheel position every time you take off from a stop, which means that over the long term as the tread wears down, your wheels are never out of balance. I highly recommend them.

Dude, you truly need to take those spikes off the front wheels, you’re gonna poke an eye out with them things
a tip for getting semi wheels on - get a 36" ish pry bar and put it on the ground with your hand on the handle, roll the tire onto the pry bar and then lift the tire using the pry bar.
I don't mind the wheels, but the spike lugnut covers aren't for me, lol. Atleast the front ones. The rears seem fine because they are tucked.

Those wheels are so BALLER! Also, if you go back and watch the video the passengers inner dually tire was really feathered. That is where the shake was coming from.

I've been running the same set up on my truck for 2 years no problems. Not a worry.
they are fine.... the offset is not bad. and remember its a dually. that inside wheel carries half the load. and usually tires for semi wheels are like 14ply. they can handle a ton of weight
Looks awesome! I had a black 2009 F350 diesel Harley Davidson 4x4 edition long box. I added a chrome rail on the box fenders. It gave the illusion of a shorter box. Got lot's of complements on it. Thanks for sharing.
Are you getting those weird “ballast rings” that you had on your 7.3?
those aren't really needed here as much since he has good tires on these wheels and they are actually weight balanced. It also wouldn't surprise me if the wheels on the 7.3L were a little wonky after being run with such a tiny tire making weights pretty much ineffective.
He only needed those because he was fighting issues with the wrong adapters.
Balance beads are the best for those big tires

I blame the little green 1500 for me buying my new truck. The way you talked about the drivetrain had me looking for a nbs regular cab. I bought an 04 2500 with the 6.0 and 4l80e. It's a 4x4 with the manual shift transfer case. Thanks fellow Taylor!

Love this truck so damn much. Just a suggestion but put the 7 prong on the inside of the bed back by the tail gate. Will keep the cable from rubbing the tailgate raw

Highly recommend doing some projector retrofits on your headlights with all your driving. I did it for my roadtrip truck as well. You'll never be able to go back to normal again

You should build a tire rack on the top of the exposed goose neck area. just a steel cage with maybe some fuel can spots on the sides.

Damn Taylor ray I only have 22.5 on my semi. U have built one awesome truck It’s the perfect truck and I wouldn’t change anything. I put a 24v in my buddies 03 f350 crew cab and I did it just the same as u did. I slid it back to run the factory fan. Glad u are enjoying ur pickup and hope u get many years of service out of it
