What a terrific polish job on those wheels. I totally respect that you love the look. These seem too big to me, especially with the rear track. I imagine braking performance has degraded? The Nitto 420 is a terrific SUV/light truck tire. Not sure of the impact on your load capacity, especially if you're a bit low on psi. Kudos to you.
If you put some anti seize on the adapter lip that meets the rim it'll go a long way to prevent them being stuck together when servicing. Looks great though, I really wanna do this on mu truck but I also really like my 18" Methods lol
might need to order some new rear fenders? wheels look great. I thought you were going for super singles, but those are fine, and probably much cheaper
Not what I would want on my truck, but to each there own and hope your enjoy them. BTW does the extra weight of the bigger wheels have any adverse issues for your suspension components?
@pwp64 🤣🤣🤣 Always that one guy with no or very bland taste showing up as the skunk at the picnic. How can you not like this truck wheel combo? I mean really?! Let me guess, you are a fan of Yugos, Pacers, Studebackers with stock rims, perfectly boring hubcaps and the manufacturers emblem on it so that you don't affect your warranty or hurt the manufactuers feelings? You read the sides of serial boxes and only eat it as the instructions say with no sugar added. You drive exactly 55 miles an hour on the highway no matter how long the trip is? YAWN! Give the man credit. These wheels look freakin sick and you know it.
Looks great! You got a good deal.on finding the wheels at a junk yard. What kind of truck did they come off of? I got a.friend who works on commercial truck wheels, I need to hit him up for some good used wheels. Truck looks great, thanks for Doing the video.
Truck looks bad ass with the semi wheel but one thing you need to color match the bumpers black and the wheels would stick out even more. I normally don’t like videos but i did this one.
I have a 2006 2500 mega cab 2wd long bed that I’m thinking of converting to a true 3500 dually. Was the bed on your truck original and if not, what year did you use? I can’t find any videos on how to swap the axle and bed or if it’s even possible. Anything is possible and at this point way cheaper than buying a new or used dually truck.
Wow. Rims sure does make Big different in look of truck. I have 2016 dodge ram 1500 crewcab 4x2 w/hemi. Im been thinking getting new chrome rims and take factor rims off. Aint nothing buy plastic chrome cover on new dodge these days lol. Thanks for video brain.
Man! I literally have the same truck and based on this video I picked up the same setup, adapters and all, same tire size… do you have a wobble at all? If so how did you fix the issue? It’s pretty bad on my truck no lie
Hi I just watched your video I also have Alcoa 22‘s shave down I live in New Jersey and no place bounces these wheels they say the cone is 10 inch and nobody has it I took it to a TA station still in vibration I don’t feel that they’re doing it properly they were riding smooth when they were balanced in Ohio but that place is too far and I don’t think she is in business anymore any suggestions thank you
Bingo! This configuration adds too much weight, more drag, harder to accelerate, harder to stop (safety sacrificed), harder on all components: steering/braking/poertrain/etc. all for the sake of looks.
Tires are about 200 a piece, used wheels were 300 total, polishing cost 300, and the machine work was 600, adapters usually run around 800 to 900 for a set.
22.5 wheels machined down to a 22 is definitely not a good idea and not safe. My friend owns a large high end wheel and tire shop and they will not touch cut down 22.5 wheels after what happened. The day before sema a customer came in for new tires on their dually and when mounting a new tire on a wheel the lip exploded when the tire was aired up. The employee mounting the wheels ended up with around 500 stitches in his face and scalp.
What a transformation!!!! Looks amazing!!
Its always amazing how wheels can change the whole look
BADASS looking truck! Those wheels look AWESOME on the big Dodge!!

Truck looks fantastic with the Alcoa’s Brian 👌🏻
Looking good.
Very fine machine
yep they look awesome , nice taste ....
Where did you go to get it milling ? I have some 22.5 and I need them to be 22.
If you put some anti seize on the adapter lip that meets the rim it'll go a long way to prevent them being stuck together when servicing. Looks great though, I really wanna do this on mu truck but I also really like my 18" Methods lol
I like that look on those trucks
Wow Awesome!!!
Don’t know if you still have the truck but I was curious as how the adapters work as far as hauling heavy?
Good job it looks great
Looks great bud should be proud I like it.
Looking great but do you do any gooseneck pulling
might need to order some new rear fenders? wheels look great. I thought you were going for super singles, but those are fine, and probably much cheaper
Looks killer. Miss my 3rd gen mega dually
Killer job man! Love the Alcoa’s
Not what I would want on my truck, but to each there own and hope your enjoy them. BTW does the extra weight of the bigger wheels have any adverse issues for your suspension components?
suspension seems totally fine, they are not that too much heavier then the stock steel wheels. Fuel milage is a tad bit worse though.

Very sharp makes me want to do that to my 06 mega cab
The truck looks pretty damn awesome 👌
Those would look great on my 2011, 3500 RAM
You were in my neck of the woods. The orange Ford they have is badass.
You need to customize front and rear flares on the fenders to cover the tires
Beautiful RAM ✌🏽💯

These wheels likely came off a Freightliner.
Absolutely LOVE your truck! :-)

My 18 has polished alcoas from the factory. Not all have the steel eith chrome covers

Looks amazing! I'd leave it at this ride height too its perfect
That looks so damn good 👍 👌
What did the milling an polishing cost
That nice, so when you getting the headache rack and stacks?
Hey where did you get thos center caps? What kind are they?
Damn sick truck 🔥
Pete doesn’t get paid enough!!!
Do u have any problems with those tires
Sick! How does she ride?
Wow. Brother. Hot looking 👀Ride now
Man u really killed that one
How much do they mill down on the rims
What's the process
Buck mountain, kinda close to my house, nice
Hello, what did you do to mount a 22 rim on the 22.5 rim or just mount the rim? Thank you
Those wheels look great. Nice polish job.
What's the price on those . From semi yard..?
I've wondered put much weight those would add to the truck to subtract from the payload.
Who did you get to mill yours wheels?
Looks awesome! Any rubbing issues?
Nope, even pulling a trailer they are all clear.
@@SEMICasualShow looks killer man!!!!
Those did change the look . They look great. You should ceramic coat them .
Looks killer, Any future plans for the truck?
Not really, might upgrade the stereo at some point, that’s about it. Thanks!
The truck looks awesome now I know you guys like the Chrome I think you would look better with some gloss black wheels but it still looks awesome
How do you keep them from losing that shine ?
Just keep them clean with soap and water. Hand polishing them from time to time.
Looks awesome! You want to sell those factory Ram simulators?
WICKED KOOL. ! 👍👍🏆😷

Where u get that grill
Why mill the rim whereas you can get 22.5 low profile tire as i did that 22.5 tires go ling way
What grill are you running?
It’s some grille off of amazon
Now it needs........ 8" stove tops !! 😂
Lol, not happening
Bad ass
I like the design but I think I would want something a bit smaller 19 or 20's with more sidewall
Bingo! This configuration adds too much weight, more drag, harder to accelerate, harder to stop (safety sacrificed), harder on all components: steering/braking/poertrain/etc. all for the sake of looks.
How much to mil the wheels
Looks awesome. I take it she’s a 2wd model?
👍
SEMI Casual is that stick height or is she lowered at all? Love the stance and look of it. You have my mind wondering.
Love it
Get a visor sorted out for it.
Those are called Hub Pilot rims, not stud pilot or Budd rims, info for those new.
Who make the adapters
Not sure, got them from a friend that had them laying around. They were a freebie 😊
What did it cost you to do the change over $ $ $
Tires are about 200 a piece, used wheels were 300 total, polishing cost 300, and the machine work was 600, adapters usually run around 800 to 900 for a set.
@@SEMICasualShow thank you for the price break down ... It looks very Sharpe
👍
How much did it cost
how much did all that cost you?
tire size?
285/45/22
Looks sweet!!!!.. how’s cash money going?
It’s just about completely done, we have a video on that truck coming soon!
@@SEMICasualShow awesome!
Needs long bed conversion
Why not 24s, they would fill the wheel wells a lot more. Just curious.
Didn't go with 24's because the tire sidewall would have to be smaller and would loose ride quality.
@@SEMICasualShow man how can I get my 07 done this way
I don’t care what nobody say or hate. That thing is killer
Wow I thought those adapters were aluminum at first...
Here’s a name for your truck !!! “AFRO”
😍🔥😍🔥😍🔥
Not going to lie, I'm curious how a real semi truck builder would build a street diesel? Because these wheels look killer on this rig.
Should have Powder Coated. Last way longer than spray paint. You must really be against powder coating.
Is that 2wd?
Yes it is 👍

Gosh thats sexy with those Alcoa´s, Wow!
