    The owner of this Ram 3500 dually wanted a truck that could do it all and that's what we set out to build! This truck is at home pulling a trailer or running through the dunes thanks to a 3" Carli Suspension Pintop 2.5 system and 35" Toyo MT tires.

    Funny thing, I watched another video of yours earlier and thought what about my dually then I see this. Question, I have always had issues balancing custom wheels where only inside tape weights can be used. I would love to have you guy's install a custom lift with bigger wheels and tires but don't whant the dreaded out of balance vibrations, if I could have a lifted dually with bigger wheels that road like a stock 1/2 or 3/4 ton I am sold 100%. Specs, 2014 Ram limited 3500 28K miles.

      @@1smokan I bought my lift from CJC Off Road to improve the super harsh and unpredictable ride of my 2016 Ram 3500 dually with factory air level. I bought the Carli Pin Top for the Factory Ram Air Level System for my dually. I also bought the Carli rear replacement leaf springs. I can honestly say the ride overall is about 20% better. The front of the truck rides amazingly better and is exactly what I was hoping for. The rear however is still ROUGH as heck, slight at best if any improvement over stock... I'm running 255/80r17 Toyo Open Country RT tires with 55 psi front and 35 psi rear on factory wheels while truck is unloaded.
      Doing business with the guys at CJC Off Road was a very pleasant experience and the two times I called them on the phone with questions they were very nice and very helpful. I would definitely recommend them to anyone even thinking about doing business with them.

    Do you have a kit for 17' RAM 3500 dually 6.4L gasoline. The as is stock load capacity is over 6000 lbs. I would like to retain that.
    I have a 3000lb in the bed truck camper that I still want to be able to use it's closer to 4000lbs when loaded for trips. I'm most interested in a smoother ride and less sway. Not overly concerned about offroad capability.
    I do like the look of the 20" wheels.

    • @CJCOffRoad
      @CJCOffRoad  4 года назад +2

      Sadly no. I actually have the same truck. Your best option is to do a reverse shackle kit up front, and then do custom leaf springs from Deaver springs with new, quality shocks. That will be the best possible set up for those trucks unless you want to tackle the 05+ axle swap.

    Can you guys do a video/or Q&A on whether or not differential covers are a necessary upgrade for these types of trucks? Additionally, any other basic upgrades to consider over stock on say a RAM 3500 (beyond the suspension as discussed here). Thank you.

    • @CJCOffRoad
      @CJCOffRoad  4 года назад +1

      Differential covers are primarily an aesthetics product. There are some marginal gains in cooling especially with the Banks covers, but most of the benefit is going to be appearance. Typically we keep most of our shop trucks stock engine and drivetrain wise. A coolant bypass can be a nice addition on the cummins trucks though if you're shooting for longevity since cylinder 6 tends to run the hottest.
