The worst thing about all the diesel engines since 2008 is the emission control stuff. I have an 08 Dodge 6.7 Cummins in my 2500. I like the truck but the engine is always giving me trouble regarding the regen. About once a month now I'll need to take it out on the road for a high speed run for about 60 miles so it can do the regen. This gets expensive, especially with diesel priced around $5.00 a gallon. Congrats, dude! Followed you for all the trucks you talked about at the beginning. Makin' moves! Piece of advice, 6.7's need to be deleted to have longevity. I'd delete it immediately. You'll get quite a bit more power and reliability. Also they have CP4 issues and you should get one of the kits that prevents a grenaded CP4 from destroying the fuel system on it. Just my 2-cents. I went from a 7.3 to a 2015 6.7 and can 100% relate to all the things you love about your new truck man. Quiet, cool tech, super powerful, easy. Love it.
Excellent description of your journey to a long-distance towing vehicle with a modern comfortable cabin. Last year I bought a 2022 RAM 2500 4x4 Laramie with the Hemi engine. My towing needs are minimal but it has all of the technical upgrades that you mentioned. The lack of stress from fearing that you will break down will make it all worth it. Good choice.
I think I’m getting old too fast. Haha I feel the exact same way about noise and comfort and I’m only 21. I made my LLY super comfy and as quiet as I could but it doesn’t compare to my new ‘15 lml high country comfort wise. Any I went from a 2500hd to 3500hd, yet still smoother ride. My race car can be as loud as it wants as long as my truck is comfortable🤣

This is super rad. I feel it on the older cars. my newest car is an 04 and its got almost a quarter million miles on it. I cant wait to see semi wheels on the new truck. Good to see you making moves and upgrading. I'm glad I'm not the only one who enjoys tow rigs as much as the cars they are towing.
I can't definitely understand the feeling of not wanting to get rid of something you've put so much effort into. The Fummins is an awesome truck being one of the best super duty body styles out there paired with an incredible engine while the newer 6.7 is just like the Cadillac of trucks. All the bells and whistles, all the power, just luxury with 6 wheels. Quite frankly they're both gorgeous trucks and definitely in my top 5 for dream trucks. Excited to see you expand out and grow.n
I always used to drag something home that someone else was done with, redo it and drive it until it was junk. Buying a decent vehicle for a purpose goes a long way. Congratulations on your purchase. I hope it serves you well. I can't get over how well the 6.7 Ford tows. I recently had 25,000#s in tow through the mountains of Pennsylvania. Everytime I thought it was starting to give up I stepped on the throttle a little more and it literally set me back in the seat. Impressive vehicle.
I have an 07 2500hd gas truck that I was towing my race car with and whatnot and had the same deal where I was worried every time we left. I would literally work on the truck for like a week leading up to every trip to deal with whatever had come up since we last towed with it. It was absolutely EXHAUSTING cause I was also always working on the race car in that time too. I ended up buying a 2015 f250 crew cab and man, what an absolute game changer. And I never ever have to think about it, just hook up and go. The difference it makes on your mental health leading up to each trip is more than you can measure in dollars. Congrats man, what a huge deal this is.

Wow Taylor!!! What a way to give back to your fans!!! I’ve been watching for a few years and I always look forward to your videos.
Again, congrats, my dude!
20+ Fords are beasts towing. You are going to love that truck. Congrats!
put the alcolas on the new truck
these storytimes are always so entertaining to watch! love the pics you add too because I forgot about that corvette!
Go with 22" semi wheels as opposed to the 24", as not to hinder towing performance
Congrats on the new rig! Keep on killin it!
As you know I built my Fummins because of how great yours came out. Now to hear of an opportunity to win yours is exciting news!
Early squad reporting for duty
I went from a 7.3 to a 2015 6.7 and can 100% relate to all the things you love about your new truck man. Quiet, cool tech, super powerful, easy. Love it.
I’ll buy the fummins
Not if I get it first
Glad to see all the upgrades and improvements to your set up man! The truck is beautiful and ik she will treat ya well buddy
It looks so good on the factory wheels. Just leave it bone stock.
Does this mean the Fummins is FS?? 😏
I appreciate the background recap.
I didn't know the whole story.
Thanks for sharing!
Exactly that 😂 I just wanna get in my nice
Comfy box and cruise home from the track without noise. Or worry.
Congratulations on the new truck I’ve literally seen all the trucks from the beginning happy for you.
19:30 the actual reason he bought the truck
Man The ol Fummins Build is what brought me to this channel! I have always dreamed of the build you did. I have had to watch the series a dozen times by now. You are just so detailed and go over everything so well, I have never seen a YT series on a Fummins build as detailed as yours! Some day I will build a fummins and use your series as inspiration! Congrats on the new truck sir may you have many smooth comfortable road trips ahead of you!
Man that's a nice truck, you really deserve it. I started watching all those years ago from the video of you talking about how you went through 36 cars at 23 and im happy to see how much you've grown and what you've done with the channel. Keep it up, your an inspiration dude.
Loved listening to every second of this, congrats Taylor, it's been awesome watching all the progress!
Very happy for you Taylor! You've come a long way from helping swap Cummins in Ram Chargers in a tiny garage! Congrats!
Congratulations Taylor on the new Ford Dually tow rig. Your hard work is paying off! I’m right there with you brother, the semi dually wheels make the truck and are a timeless look that will never go out of style. I love the Fummins and look forward to the chance to win it!
Congratulations. As I've gotten older, peace of mind has become more valuable than anything else
I made the decision to finally go "new new" truck a while back and got a 2021 6.7 F250, 10,000 miles later it's treated me amazing hauling my cars and doing everything in between. You will love it, great choice. Congrats
Man, this is awesome. I don't even live in USA, but I am so excited about the giveaway! Taylor really giving to the subscribers everything.
I remember when you got the 1st gen truck. Wow you’ve come a long way. Congratulations, you’ve earned it
Gratz on your progress, more than I could imagine. I'm glad someone get's cudo's for their effort.
Dude you deserve every bit of that new truck mate !!! Man you have come so far over the years, good things happen to good people like yourself !!! 😜👍🇦🇺
This is the first time I ever posted anything on a channel but I love the truck and u deserve it! KSR wants some but it's to nice to try to make it anything but a tow rig that's stock besides rims!
Love it. Everyone getting these trucks as a tow rig now for a reason. Ford did a really good job with it and that’s solidified when your dodge guys are switching over as well. Great choice
Congratulations man I’m glad you got a new truck, you work your ass of you deserve it!
All it takes is that one experience to make sure you're prepared for next time. Cool new rig! Thanks for sharing!
I would be so excited if I were you! That perl white was the right move. I've never owned a black truck, so I could imagine it takes some work to keep clean and cool. The idea of a fummins is pretty sweet , maybe I'll own one someday!
This is the truck that made me look into cummins swaps and now im in the process of getting my cummins swap running.
That fummins build is def a dream truck of mine, but Def don't fault you for going the route you did with that new Ford. Solid platform to get in and go
i would suggest tinting the winshield, it will be alot cooler inside and protect your interior! keep up the hard work
very exciting! congrats! Thank you for going through your history of trucks. it really helped me solidify where i want to go for getting a truck. The fummins looks great as usual!
You’re one of the few dudes on here that really deserves a lot of success. Keep on keeping on man!
Wow what a throw back! Glad to see you've come far.
Lariat is my favorite truck, I've had a 2003, 2010, 2016, and now a 2017 all F150 Lariat, an awesome truck!! 👌
So happy to hear your giving the Fummins away!
