Tim, you did an amazing job on that truck and you should be proud! What a fun build series to watch, and a great video to bring it all together at the end. Very inspiring!
Love it. Great work persevering and carrying on through to the end Tim! I’m a dyed-in-the-wool 2nd Gen guy, but it’s been fun following along and seeing your progress and it’s a beautiful truck. Hope you keep LBL and enjoy it for years to come!
I’ve been afraid to mess up something on my d350 because I don’t know or don’t have confidence but this gives me motivation to try and learn and believe in myself to restore my d350. Great work I love this Channel❤️
I would love to have this rig. Knowing a decent guy with a passion built it to be solid. Thank you i will keep following you because i have projects that will need your level if passion/dedication and knowledge.
Funny how the algorithms work. I get this quickie of rebuilding your crew cab dodge and I’m in the repair the rust phase of rebuilding my crew cab ford. I’ve already got the chassis and drivetrain done. I’m still looking for interior parts and trim. Paint and body work first. Nice work you’ve got a good looking truck
Nice job. I've been in the restoration business since 1993, probably when that truck was new. Only things I would've done differently, for several reasons, strength, safety, and ride quality, is I would've boxed the frame to get coil up front, and push out the spring perches wider for stability. And incase you get hit, boxing the frame, plus maybe caging it, would give you and your family peace of mind, and tieing the cage into the frame. These trucks fold so easy in the event of an accident, it would blow your mind how easy. Their made of mild steal, all the way from the frame to that sheet metal. Other then that beautiful truck. And oh ya, I recently just purchased a 2010 unicorn with 56k on it. This is my forever truck, and I plan on caging it. It will also save rare body parts in the event of an accident
Stock height matches with factory front springs. This truck had lift springs on the front so I did get the tears arched to match. There's a full video on that if you want to check it out 😁
Enjoyed that build. I learned some things for sure. Liked to see the 5th gear nut fix, not that ill ever get away from my g360. 320000 miles all stock, why change it.
Not a big fan of using modern seats but that's an easy change out. The rest of the truck is killer. I really wish auto makers would go back to making simple and reliable trucks but too many suburbanites like their gizmos, short beds, and lattes. LOL! Will this truck be for sale?
If you dont mind what lift do you have and are those 33 inch tires? Great job and great truck and turn out. I just got an 89 GMC Ext Cab K3500 single wheel 8 ft bed. I was told it needed a new fuel pump and slave cylinder needed bled, brand new clutch and fly wheel. Oh boy that was the nicest thing it needed. I got it 8 weeks ago and its been in the shop 6 weeks and still there and i still havent drove it. I dont have a shop or the tools o need exvept for minor repairs. Body is not beatup and a good detail paint will come out and shine again and little by little i will get it but i didnt expect to have to kill so many bugs all at once. It had factory 454 and was bad and the man i got it from was fixing it for himself and hw hurt his back and then got sick and had to stop and then here i came and he said them most favorite words ive got something o want to show you. He had just put a new 454 in it and it has a factory 4 speed bulldog transmission probly GMs best transmission they ever made. Interior good so you inspired me and i preciate it! You gave me some ideas so thanks for that to! Im going to put a pop up camper or topper into camper or something and would like to come up your way and maybe do some overlanding but it willbe a while but ive never been one to give up. Im disabled but i still get around and i have my days but i dont let it get me down and i keep putting one foot in front of the other om just a little slower at doing things than o used to but i am truly so Blessed i sure aint complaing! Your first video ive seen and it couldnt been a better one. Take care and i hope you and your family and everybody has a very Merry CHRISTmas!
Self proclaimed "baddest truck", LOL. I guess every seat has an ass. But, until you get your $80k (I'm rootin for ya) more like the baddest investment. Until then, you are upsidedown bud. That is a $30k truck tops.
What's going on with the hungry diesel? Order stuff over $500 worth 30+ days no delivery. Won't answer calls goes straight to voice mail. Won't return emails WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON. is he out of business?
Stunning truck. Way better than new. Love seeing a project end so well.
Thanks! It was a fun one to build.
Tim, you did an amazing job on that truck and you should be proud! What a fun build series to watch, and a great video to bring it all together at the end. Very inspiring!
Thanks Tyler! It feels weird to finish a project haha
Old is gold
Excellent job Tim, love how your passion has grown for these old trucks over the years. I’ve learned a lot from your videos. Merry Christmas!
Merry Chrysler!
Merry Christmas! I really appreciate the support!
Love it. Great work persevering and carrying on through to the end Tim! I’m a dyed-in-the-wool 2nd Gen guy, but it’s been fun following along and seeing your progress and it’s a beautiful truck. Hope you keep LBL and enjoy it for years to come!
Appreciate that! Maybe you’ll convert to a first-gen guy someday haha
Incredible man, I’m blown away. That is the best looking truck I’ve ever seen. Tip of the hat to you sir.
Thanks! It took a lot of work but it was worth it.
Very good looking truck. And all that work, way awsome.. Maybe one day i could do something like that..
I hope you do!
I’ve been afraid to mess up something on my d350 because I don’t know or don’t have confidence but this gives me motivation to try and learn and believe in myself to restore my d350. Great work I love this Channel❤️
Thanks man, that's what it's all about!
I would love to have this rig. Knowing a decent guy with a passion built it to be solid. Thank you i will keep following you because i have projects that will need your level if passion/dedication and knowledge.
I really appreciate that, thank you!
Awesome. Absolute dreamsicle. A true wet dream on wheels

It's funny how things work out that way!
I love this build!
It turned out way better than I expected.
Don’t you mean that this is The “Most Decent” Cummins Truck on RUclips…?
People wouldn't click on the video if I named it that! 😂
I agree with the title. It is much better to build something you can actually use than a show piece that you can just look at@@decentgarage
I couldn't agree with the title more! Knocked it out of the park Tim!
It turned out to be a very nice truck.
Thanks!
Hola amigo cómo estás saludos acá de Austin Texas Freddy Delgado nice video felicidades por tu truk nice terminado tu proyecto saludos y bendiciones
Fanstastic job this truck is just stunning.
I wouldn't be able to part with it if I created it. It would be mine forever. :) Thanks for the videos!!! Stay Safe!!!
It's a pretty awesome truck, but I'm sure I'd eventually get bored with it and want to build something else!
Nice job. I've been in the restoration business since 1993, probably when that truck was new. Inspiration for my 93 Ramcharger! Great job.
Now that's how a Truck should be !
Amazing, just fricking amazing..
My hats off to you Tim. Your dedication and passion definitely paid off. Good job buddy! I really enjoyed seeing this build series.
Gorgeous truck.
Beautiful 🙌🏻
I think so too. 😁
I will either spray my '93 dually or go a roller paint job. Love that truck. Almost retired. Have a '72 Duster with the slant and hot rod parts on it.
The truck is rare period, and its absolutely amazing, my favorite style of dodge cummins..thats a real truck.👍
Couldn't agree more!
@decentgarage 👍
You’ve saved so many trucks by sharing info and inspiring us to work on our first gens thanks Tim
That means alot
Love it!
Appreciate it!
As always thank you for the work you do the truck looks great david
Thanks Dave!
Best channel on youtube
💪
Very well executed and presented
Glad you liked it!
It truly is, job well done friend 🇺🇸💪
The blur on the cam got me 😂
Glad you caught that. In the full video the music I put with that clip will make your day!
Super nice truck man! I would have painted it a different color though like red
Gross resell red lol
I realy believe that is factory colors when it was new.
you ever get that tach working? lol seen your post on FB having issues with that pa performance alternator
Yes I did. I had to buy a tach that could work with the w signal from the PA performance alt.
Do you have to rearch the Chevy leaf springs to maintain stock ride height? Or did you just have them arched to get some extra lift?
Stock height matches with factory front springs. This truck had lift springs on the front so I did get the tears arched to match. There's a full video on that if you want to check it out 😁
Such an amazing build!! Did you end up selling it then?
Would be real slick to have a matching camper top for the bed! ! Not as usefull as a truck...just add character!!!!
Awesome 1st Gen, I think I have a pretty decent 5th Gen build. Not over the top and tasteful
Enjoyed that build. I learned some things for sure. Liked to see the 5th gear nut fix, not that ill ever get away from my g360. 320000 miles all stock, why change it.
Thanks for watching, I love the 360, too!

So what’s the story/plan with the blue sweptline?
Next video 😎
