- This time on Rock Rods we are taking you to Fiddlers Bend Outdoor Adventure Park in East Oklahoma for a freshly cut bounty hill climb. This rock bouncer hill climb has $10,000 for the fastest out the top and an Extra $1000 for the first of the rock bouncing buggies climb it. Each rock bouncer driver has 3 minutes of time to conquer this bounty hill climb. Will anyone climb it or will the event promotor get to keep the money. Watch and find out, let us know if you think bolts should be ok to run on these hills in the comments.

Maybe it should be their own class. Definitely seems like an upper hand. I wonder how many sore losers complained that he’s cheating lol.
Seems to be about the same difference as running studded tires on ice Vs no studs. Massive traction advantage is evident. When one of those bolts tears out of a tire it's probably going to become a safety issue so might be a good idea to ban em.

Id like to see Wes run it back at the very end. He destroyed that first run up. Would be a cool feat to have not only climbing it first, but also doing it again after the fails.
We all were trying to make that happen but it didn’t. It would have been a feat to climb it at the end. It was all rock at the bottom and 12” tree stumps all the way up to the rock ledge.

Wes is a wheelman for sure and While the bolts helped no doubt, being the first to hit it was more of an advantage than anything else.

Alex Sanders is a bad ass. Ribcage is a beast. Had the opportunity to compete against him in Batesville at the Batesville motor speedway in a tuff truck competition. Almost rolled my truck and broke a drive line and front c/v shaft but had a blast.
That rig has got some decent power in it now

Watch where Wes hits the gas initially, lets off for the hump then his suspension is set up perfect at the hump the car doesn't rebound up in the air, sits flat. Low CG full traction.

It was at the end of a long recovery, I had sat down to eat some lunch in between runs.
That was a High Horse Power Hill only. Love the Bounty Hills and you have the best Angles. That shot coming up the hill is Money.
It was a sketchy spot for me to stand but well worth it. Glad I had someone at the bottom to make the perfect video. 👍

Momentum is key here, just my opinion. Secondly, the ones who made it up on the side out of bounds, you need to keep the go pedal pinned to the floor. Any let up stops momentum, and they are stuck.

Wes really got lucky being first and giving it all, think otherwise Tim would have killed the hill even without studs, he just got bad luck with the draw on this one and you saw him struggle to get into a good line with those deep ruts and stumps sticking out!

Congrats to the winner! That one was the luck of the draw for sure. I wanted to see the winner hit it again after it got all loosened up and rutted out to see how well those studied tires worked in that.
We tried to talk him into it at the end to prove a point
I think you do an excellent job on these films. It's tough getting to a good spot. It's tough keeping yourself safe, protecting your equipment and staying out of the driver's way all at the same time. The only thing that helps me is a mechanical gimbal for my camera. The rest is up to what the drivers, course and crowd give. I learn a lot about filming motorsports from watching you. Thanks!

Those formula offroad trucks they run over in iceland and stuff with those paddles would fly up this hill. But this is a ehole different ball game. Pretty sick
They fly up sand and ash hills. Dirt, rocks, and stumps are a different ball game
That was definitely a gnarly hill climb cool to see a few guys make it all the way. I have a set of those Rockwell axles with the ball and socket in a dumpster at work that are supposed to be headed to the scrap yard I plan on saving them if anyone in the new England area needs some really cheap Rockwell's lol

ohhhh wow ..that did not end as to be expected ..nor did it start as to be expected...on the edge of the seat the whole time ...i have never cheered so much as to when the busted knuckle build made it ...what an achievement for the crew ....another badass show matt...a snowmobile with studs VS a snowmobile without is a huge difference ...im sure yall know where im goin with this.....

Only 1 guy picked the right line. Jumping makes you lose all your momentum but the engines sounded great.
The hill got worse and worse as they went. Luck of the draw was huge

Going first helped a ton
Just a question, if it's a bounty hill and an individual hits the top. Why is the time not then adjusted to that time so others are not just cutting the hill up getting no where. Just asking, meaning no insult.
These guys drove from all over to hit this hill. 10 seconds would be hard to beat and we wouldn’t get to see much action

I've been up some steep hills here in the Canadian Rockies but never had the bolts or balls for something like this. Looks nuts in the video so must be really gnarly in real life.

It’s not always an advantage
Track conditions changing is a factor in EVERY racing sport. Seeding order is a factor in almost every sport. Seeding has it’s shortcomings but I have never seen an example, in any sport, where they solve changing track conditions by manipulating seeding. That’s just dumb.
Downhill skiing. On the first run if your 1st starter you start last in the second run and vica versa
wow seems like a fine art of 'wheel spin' too much rpm and lose traction and not enough and get no where. One thing i know and that's a big thank you to all the drivers for this awesome spectacular.

It's pretty hard to film these events. It's tough getting to a good spot to film from. Then you have to protect yourself, your equipment and stay out of the Driver's way.The only thing that saves me when I record motorsports is a mechanical gimbal, the rest is what the drivers and the course/track give.

broken power steering hose, could have slowly backed it down the hill, instead they decided to winch it up the hill with no driver (that could have hit the brakes), and ended up destroying the buggy...
The driver chose to get out so that’s on him. Everyone he cranked it, just shot steering fluid on the hot header.
