There is a company that builds crawlers that have an ibex chassis
I have lost count of how many videos I have seen of trucks going up that rock and it never gets old!

Tim took a big step backwards going back to a solid front axle from IFS.. his last rock bouncer with IFS was his greatest rig ever. What was he thinking??

@@terryoliver5912 The IFS setup offers no advantage here... Tim Cameron dominates because he's a good driver. People said the same thing about Clayton Hollingsworth's buggy, but never seem to acknowledge that it doesn't do very well when Clayton isn't driving it.

I used to build Rock Crawler; before, during, and then after my Marine Corps career. But I heard of this type of competition and am beginning the process of research.
I have 2 questions, and please anyone help me if you can. 1) What's the most common motor/trans configuration. And 2) Are these vehicles running lockers or tight LSDs in the front and rear pumkins?

Most common engine is LS, TH400. Full spool in the diffs.

It is a top contender for sure. We made him some Steel BKOR Trailing arms and he hasn't had an issue since.

I’m not keeping track, how often do billet trailing snap in half?
They can be quite brittle, so more often then you would think. Best saved for the t truck guys, not good for being hit by rocks
