LOVE IT! Looks amazing and so clean looking without a 4 foot tubing cage hanging under it! Might need some bypasses to help with some control of the IFS and IRS. Such a crazy truck, awesome build dude.
I've been running full independent suspension on my rc crawlers for years and they dominated. My first thought seeing this was I want to see it all hang out against King Sling because I believe it could dominate. Dennis Anderson should be taking notes!!
It makes all the sense in the world you have plenty of clearance low center of gravity . It's like a Mad Max mudd slinger, Baja Championship truck. I love it!
Picked a great shell to make it all come together, I love the Willys, the proportions make it look so awesome. I watching to see if the frame would dive into the ground on a couple of the landings, but aside from being set up like a sand rail, it looked pretty darn good. The crazy stance was fun to watch.

I think it will work but going to need some sway bars like anti-rock or something. Very low center of gravity and lots of power with fully independent suspension it very well could dominate most mega truck racing competitions . Love to see how this will progress over the future
It’s actually sitting about 6” higher then it will be. Wrong spring on it right now. A arms will be about level at ride height. Not so sure it’ll need sway bars being the the center of gravity is so low.
@@Buddy713 Definably looked like it needed more spring all around especially in the rear and the rebound tamed down a bit also, the rears came off the ground rebounding from the bigger jumps. will be interesting if you lower the ride height even more , Won't lowering it even more reduce the suspension travel on it ? It looks like it could use a increase in ride height to keep the frame off the ground on the big jumps . still wouldn't rule out swaybars though. I can't believe it took this long for someone to build a IFS rig . Good job !
Didn’t look like it was leaning to me why mention sway bars are needed? I put UPR front coil overs on my mustang and it doesn’t need a sway bar handles better without sway bar than when it had one with regular factory coil springs, so this truck has coil overs and springs pushes wheels down better being closer to the wheel than sitting away from wheel. Looks like he has a lot less body roll than the straight axle trucks.
Protect those lines hanging from the bottom and a front mud gaurd are the only small problems i see...maybe a tune...haha Those 4 into 1 pipes sound mean 👍
Hats off to this build Mayhem Garage. You beat many monster truck guys to the next stage. This is where the sport will go to whether it's Mega trucks or Monster Trucks.
My biggest concern is the possibility of the headers gouging in under full suspension compression in hard turns. Great build and we will see what happens!
I'm going to build a replica in 10th scale rc if you don't mind.....slash 4x4, fling king tires, jconcepts bog hog body.....this is just the coolest thing I've ever seen. Like 2 of my favorite things on convergent paths. 10th scale rc cars, and mud trucks
