- Hi friends! In today’s video we’re going antiquing in Savannah, Georgia. I went to two shops I think you’ll enjoy visiting! If you love shopping for vintage home decor these antique shops had a great selection and so many pretty vintage things! Plus I’m sharing my antiquing haul at the end of the video.
I have a cold in the last part of the video so don’t mind my appearance lol

The houses are so pretty and it all looked so well cared for everywhere you went. I was fascinated by all the moss hanging from the tree branches. Lovely purchases especially liked the picnic basket. Hope you feel well soon.
I love Savannah. We went there on our honeymoon 🤍 and love that you found that antique on the side of the road! So cool!

Nice haul.... I love Savannah.....and Tybee Island. We ate at Mrs Wilkes Restaurant where you got a sample of all kinds of southern food served family style. Then we went to Paula Dean s store.
I’ve never been to Mrs. Wilkes Restaurant. Sounds wonderful! Is it downtown?
One of my favorites when I was younger was always the Pirates House!

Hi Melissa Thanks for the beautiful tour. I would love to have one of those houses on our property. I have one of those brass crab ash trays ypu showed us...just use it for decor. I like the piece you picked up. I wonder if you could stand it up against a book or something and put a picture on it somehow...maybe with the rings with the clip...put a little hole in the pic...just would use it.. so cute. My friends like modern...not u sI have so many doilies...don't care if others like or not. I have a long one like that that goes on my mantle. Now for the steal piece...that nice big picnic basket..so beautiful. I don't have a daughter, but I have a young neighbor and she walks with me. I used to walk with my friend, but she walks four and half miles and unfortunately I have cages and screws in my back and I can not keep up with her. I used to could walk forever. I would especially like that where you were at. Melissq next time you get a cold or headache try Alka Seltzer Plus fizzy tablets. I just use one in a little water. I dont get colds....cutting hair for years and years I guess gave me wonderful immunity, but I will get a headache from seasonal allergies...also wirks in migraines. Feel better. I always enjoying seeing you shop.❤❤❤❤😊😊😊 Cant wait for your next thrifting adventure.
Hey girl! Been waiting for you to post, i wasn't sure if you were home or traveling or in Florida. We got down here last Friday...i don't want to leave😒but we'll be heading home this Friday. The homes in Savannah are gorgeous! I haven't been in years, i use to go with my grandma when i was young to visit some family she had there. Not sure what that piece is but looks like some type of grater.. looks primitive, i think its cool and I'd use it for decor for sure! The basket is very pretty, love the top of it and great price too. Good seeing you.. thanks for sharing😊

My Friend drove 2 hrs north to hit some yard sales, antique shops and thrift shops this past weekend. This week has been horrendous for so many in my circle. My neighbor especially. So we have decided we are going to go to thrift stores and antique shops this next Saturday. It is suppose to be raining. What better to do on a rainy day!!!
Great tour of the city! I enjoyed seeing the beautiful homes! I love the little wooden grater. That was a great find - and free! I would definitely use it as wall decor in the kitchen!

They have a nice goodwill in Bluffton SC. Not far. I have good things. Love that area.

Thank you for sharing your visit to the Savannah Ga. area. It brought so many memories back to me, and I just loved the whole clip, beginning to end. I will be going with my son to the same area at the end of this month, visiting Jekyll Island and the surrounding spots. Used to live there. Many memories.❤
Hi, I do corchet, but what you bought in $ 9.00 it will take me days to make it. Its beautiful and excelent price. I did a bedspead and got me about 5 to 6 months doing 8 x10 and had to do 81, plus a all around 3 inches of the decor ending. That was 40 yrs ago. Now I could not do it.

Hello Melissa! I enjoyed today’s video like always. I’ve never been to Savannah. It’s on my list of places to visit. I really love everything you got thrifting this trip. I especially love the picnic basket! I have been working on a collection of those for about two years now. I love baskets! I agree that the mystery piece is a little washboard. Melissa, I like your picnic basket. I recently saw someone decoupage a vegetable paper on top. It had all different colors and vegetables in the design. It was so cute. Looks you had a nice trip.

Looks like such a wonderful place. I have never been to Savannah, but was soooo close. My son was stationed at Fort Stewart, Georgia before and after his deployment to Iraq and we drove down from Michigan. I would have loved those beautiful homes!
