What a treat! Tasha and a give away?! Yes, please! Your horse, with its details and ears, is prettier than the other horse. 🐴 I grew up with model/toy horses and My Little Pony, and would gallop around on the school yard with a friend who also loved horses as much as I did. 😜❤

I would pass on the duck but definitely would pick up that wonderful chair! I love the mid-century modern candlesticks. I have a lamp that is the same wood and design. Picked that up at Goodwill for $8. I love it.

My wife and I have an all old mid century home and have spent alot on old walnut entertainment center, coffee table, dining table and chairs and so many others and these candles would look perfect in our thrifted home

I loved the coat rack before but you had a vision and it turned out better! You’re my fav RUclipsr, followed ever video. I’ve really gotten into the thrifting because of you. Some I sell and some I keep. Would absolutely love those candle holders! Brass is my favorite metal.

Citrus strip also works really well for striping stain and varnish.
Agreed--I have used it too especially for paint and/or varnish.

I wouldn’t have passed on either find (swan and chair). I have two daughters and plenty of friends that can use and deals I don’t have space for. The horse is an amazing find. This is our generation of treasure hunting. Btw. Thanks for the easy off tip. I will use this for sure!

Wow!! Love the MCM walnut and brass candlesticks. I can’t believe the on-line prices for the ridged lamp/s, that’s just craziness. Ditto for the umbrella/hamper basket. Your horse is far superior to the other one; yours has much more detail and beautiful patina.

Yay! Another great video 😀 I had never heard of the easy off method. So easy and will make me think twice before passing up an item at the thrift store because it’s the wrong tone. A great alternative to just painting it. I also love the simplicity of the candle sticks for the giveaway! 😊

Your style is beautiful and I love that you are willing to use elbow grease to get a unique look from thrifting as opposed to shopping the big box giants. I live the MCM candlesticks. What a price! If I got them I would not chNGE the tone but just take some clamps and wood glue to repair the split.

You pointed out some gorgeous pieces in the store! I think i would pick the duck but give it a color change, make it darker. The chair is really pretty but I think i would have passed on it. So many great thrift finds! We don't have much of anything at our thrift stores. We don't have Goodwill bins but do have some great antique shops. Love all of your picks and dupe’s. I was surprised at how great the coat rack turned out!! Great find.

Great ideas. I’d pick the duck but pass on the chair. The horse is an amazing find. So much fun finding treasures from the past. Oh, and that wood bowl from the Philippines took me right back to the 70s when you could find them everywhere.
