Great video! ❤ I found a gorgeous antique frame yrs ago. I had Home Depot cut a mirror to size and made a gorgeous framed mirror for our bathroom. We get so many compliments on it.

Fantastic ideas
The top knob on the Mcgee & Co canister looks a lot like the pawn in a chess game which would work well too for this dupe. One might have to paint it a faux wood grain because often pawns are black.
Yes it sure does, I had that same thought and even popped over to Goodwill to see if they had a chess game for that purpose 😁

Love all the pieces you created! The marker cap for a handle.. that was such a cool idea, and looks perfect! My favorite find was the mirror.. Absolutely beautiful!! Honestly I like your pieces better, they're much more personal and have meaning, they're actually one of a kind and not something off a shelf that anyone can go purchase. And you probably silent less that what you wolf have paid just for the tax on all those pieces together! I love good diy's😊 Great job!

The mcgee wavy bowl looks like a taco bowl too. The second I saw it that's what I thought. That's why I really don't like that style of bowl. But really I have had several wavy edged bowls and I am not fond of any of them. In fact, I gave away a hand blown crystal one with a Cobalt blue transparent base today.

Stunning, especially the mirror in my opinion. I’m going to try to recreate that. I live in the UK but would you possibly remember where you bought your pampas that you styled in front of the mirror? Oof it’s all so beautiful 😍
Oh, thank you so much! I actually got the pampas grass fresh from someone's yard 😂 (With permission!) We were at a yard sale and they had a lot growing near their mailbox. I asked if I could buy a few stalks and she let me have those.
That’s a good shout! I remember “helping myself” to a neighbours pampas when I was a little girl to take home to my mum. I think I’ll keep a look out locally but this time be polite and ask/pay, as I’m not a cute 8 year old anymore! Thank you Tasha, you’re an inspiration. ⭐️

Good morning! I'll be in the Mebane area this weekend. Can you list some good thrift or consignment shops?
Hello! There's a Goodwill in town but I also love to pop in Living Free near downtown Mebane and seem to have more luck with home decor items there. Definitely also hit JW Liquidations store for leftover Target items at a discount. It's near Tanger outlets. Also there's a secondhand bookshop called Fifth Street books a bit further down hwy 70 that has fantastic book prices! It would be great for coffee table books. It's an unassuming warehouse building so don't think you're at the wrong place. ☺️

Had a fun couple of days. We added the Hospice (nka Ancora) donation store off exit 145 as well as The Shops of Mebane on hwy 70. It's a husband and wife who've accumulated family items and are now selling them.

My Goodwill literally just has trash. I watch YT videos and see these thrift stores with amazing finds and go to mine with vision and find nothing. I can only assume others are getting to it first for resale.

McGee & Co is way too expensive for me especially since most of it is made in China using cheap labor. I’m always looking to either repurpose or use thrifted and antique items over anything made in China.
