Not really. But with Obsidian that’s probably a not yet.

They're making advanced tables core... cool
The new tables should have been an "Opt In" function, because they are slow and cumbersome to create compared to markdown tables. I cannot tab between cells any more. The new table editor is mouse or click-in-cell editing only which is clumsy. To edit the text of the markdown, I need to cut out of Obsidian and go to a text editor to edit as a markdown, or change the whole page to source mode. Poor form to force this update on users. It sucks
That's what I'm wondering? Like why would you remove the tabbing out between table cells? That's unreal! If someone finds a solution to this please reply.
In version 1.5.3 here, you can tab between cells of the visual table editor. Table formatting in Markdown is not easy or quick for a large number of users, so a more visual approach is a welcome addition. Source mode is available for those familiar with such Markdown.

Check your Editor setting -> Default editing mode. It should be Live Preview otherwise you will not see this new table editor feature.

any way to combine it with drawings on same page? otherwise useless and not comparable to OneNote
You can have tables and images on the same page. You can have images within the table as well
