    This video will go over how to use a PTZ camera in vMix and how to SDI, NDI, and RTSP connections with one. It will also cover using keyboards, MIDI controllers, X-Keys and Xbox controllers for use with PTZ cams.

    did we need to connect hdmil/sdi cable to pc to get video. Or isn't video also will get data cable

    • @vMixhd
      @vMixhd  4 года назад

      For broadcasting, most people will use the HDMI/SDI output of the camera and use a capture device to input that into your computer. Some cameras will support IP streaming, but that's usually lower quality and higher latency.

    do you have suport for AXIS V59 camera?

    • @vMixhd
      @vMixhd  6 лет назад

      Hi we don't current have support for control with this camera. You can still add it to your live production, you just wouldn't have network control like the models mentioned in the video.

    What is a good option for a ptz camera that is on the budget end of the price range however with good quality? Something under $1000

    • @vMixhd
      @vMixhd  6 лет назад +2

      Unfortunately most of the PTZ cameras we have access to are above $1000 due to them being used in a prosumer/broadcast field. These come with SDI/HDMI connectivity, network access, multiple HD frame rates and a name brand lens. There are some cheaper PTZ cameras available but typically they will have a USB connection or RTSP connection only, so they may not be reliable for broadcast. Sorry that we don't have any recommendations. You might have a look through our forums to see if any one may have a suggestion- forums.vmix.com/

      @@smithjoe2183 I know this was an old comment in Vmix, but just wondering if this PTZ camera you recommended can actually be controlled through vMix? If so, which PTZ protocol do you select?

  • @dlorek
    @dlorek 6 лет назад +1

    Hi. I need one information. What if you use PTZ camera as output and you click the same camera but with another position to see them in preview rectangle? You showed us that You have another camera as output and after click a PTZ camera we see live changing in preview.

    • @vMixhd
      @vMixhd  6 лет назад

      If you only have 1 camera, then you would need to switch to a still image or video for the output, then you could move the PTZ camera angle, then switch back.

    can vmix control Datavideo ptz camera ?

    • @vMixhd
      @vMixhd  6 лет назад

      Hi, we don't currently have support for the Datavideo cameras. I'm not sure they have network control for the camera. They appear to use Sony Visca serial control and the models we have on our website use network control such as Sony Visca over IP or UDP.

    CN vMix control BirdDog PTZ cameras as well?

    • @vMixhd
      @vMixhd  Год назад

      If the camera supports Sony VISCA over IP, it should work. You would need to confirm with BirdDog to be sure it would work with vMix.
