Wow! Amazing software. Took me a while to finally stumble across the vMix software. Exactly what I've been looking for....since I have a Windows machine.
As a Wirecast user I'm really planning to switch to Vmix ! Great support and videos, free full trial without watermarks and less bugs. My dream is to use a Mac version of the vmix one day :)
Same here! I'm experiencing terrible bugs with Wirecast, which are literally endangering the production. Have you made the switch to vMix by now? If yes, do you recommend switching?
@@thomasstein4393 Hi ! I bought a pc and installed the vmix free trial, and i feel like the switch will be really easy ! Will let u know how it goes. Btw. I will wait until the silicon macs are officially fixed by apple cause there are many issues and defects. I refunded my m1 mac mini because of many issues and now i see there are new issues among the users.. One down side I noticed while watching this video is that there is no inspector window like in wirecast to edit layers on a single shot, this seems a bit complicated in vmix but as this video is an old one maybe they have included that feature with updates..
@@FatihVideographer Funny, I also bought a brand new machine for vMix just a couple of days ago. So far it's been great with vMix. I think the Audio Rooting is a great benefit. Overlays don't seem to work in combination with Stinger-Transitions, but I'll figure that out. Big production coming on Monday. Will let you know how it went ;)

I think what adds to the confusion is that when you say "overlay section in the bottom right here," that area zooms in to show a bunch of audio controls. Even now I looked at it three times before I noticed that the CURSOR is over a button that says "overlays." This is obscured if RUclips's player controls happen to be showing.
I just recently started helping out my church with their video recording and live streaming of services. They use vMix Basic HD. I’m trying to add inputs as you are in the 10 minute marker of this video but I noticed that all 4 of the church’s cameras feed in through one input. I’ve been able to add more input screens along the bottom as you have done but all the screens are black. I’m assuming because they are all feeding in through input 1. How can I resolve this? I am totally new to vMix and have absolutely no prior knowledge of the program. What do I need to do to separate the camera inputs? I’m basically asking to please explain it to me like a kid, LOL!!! Thank you!!!

Unfortunately, I don't believe you can output your PowerPoint with alpha so you can't easily overlay it. You could set it to a green colour background and then use the Chroma Key option in vMix to remove the colour and overlay it onto your production. Alternatively, you could just overlay your PowerPoint in the corner of the screen so it's not covering up as much.
@@vMixhd I have tried changing the background to green and text to white but when I overlay it it turns the output screen green. I do not think I may be using the Chroma Key correctly.
Yes, you don't need heaps of equipment. You can start out with a laptop and a webcam, that's why we have the 60-day Trial so you can try it out on your existing equipment.

You can stream to 3 different streaming destinations with vMix. Alternatively, you could send one stream to a service such as Restream and then distribute from there.
Use(d) both. Learning curve vmix maybe a bit higher, however, vmix more capabele and nice features like trigers etc. Vmix is now our goto software. Our impression is also that vmix is more stable. With us wirecast has had some unexplained coffee brakes, having to restart wirecast again. :(. Questions get answered (quicker) by vmix which is not the case with wirecast. So we are addicted to vmix. In wirecast the Titler has nicer graphics ( Neubluefx) and the free use of stock videos,audio and pics are a plus. However, vmix capability and stability make it our clear number one.
Hi, Instagram doesn't have API support for programs such as vMix. You would need to use the Instagram App. There may be workarounds, but as it's not supported by Instagram, you may end up with problems with your account.
Hi Tim, how to include Easy worship 6 in vMix? Am receiving the full desktop screen of Easy Worship 6 in vMix, not just the GoLive screen. I just need the Live screen in vMix.
Great looking software. I want to demo it on our production computer. I downloaded the demo but it said my trial had expired. I am not sure how that happened. It's possible my assistant downloaded it, but we've never used it as I'm the only one who does production. Is there a way to reset it so we can actually trial it?

How can you adjust the layout to show more selectable titles. I have tried adjusting screen size in the main settings layout but it didn't help.
It doesn't REQUIRE it, but it highly recommended as you won't be able to a lot of video processing or encoding with on board graphics. www.vmix.com/software/supported-hardware.aspx#systemrequirements

If it can't, please, even though you work for vMix, help me, which is the most appropriate program for that, because I hope you are familiar with all that. Ultimately any of the subscribers can help me if they read this. i am not some computer technician and i would like a simple program for it with finished 3d backgrounds like intensivideo. I am trying to understand and follow along with your demo but nothing works.. You say words "I just do this" and "just do that" You don't understand that many folks do not have your learning curve.If you want me to buy your product, you need to slow down and help us who do not have your knowledge, lean the product. I am older and learn by hands on and repetition. You are too technical. Make your videos simple and Slow the hell down. No all of us have our PHD in production.

Can I use Hikvision camera directly into Vmix or should have to go through the DVR Hikvision? How do I connect the Hikvision onto the Vmix.
At 6:24 he says "use channel 2 as a picture in picture," but channel 2 is the wallaby. What actually appears in the PIP is channel 5.
Overlay Channel 2, the wallaby video is Input Number 2.

You need to upgrade to Easy Worship 7
Game Streaming is not possible? Or totally complicated?
A lot of game streamers use vMix, but we do recommend a 2 PC approach so you can dedicate your GPU to vMix.
