Good video. Would be nice to see a video showing how to set up a second PC running vMix replay. Not sure the best way to manage switching to the NDI input on the main vMix PC.
kevin Evans Or if the second computer could just be running the full screen replay control interface. Because routing the cameras might be a bit of an issue, and you’d lose some of the integrated control like the transition starting playback or automatically switching back to preview when the replay is over.
@@mrkylematz Have the NDI output from a second PC being selected as an NDI input on the main switching PC. Only that second PC needs to be running replay, with the operator cuing up events ready to roll when the Director/Switcher calls for it. This way vMix effectively replaces a box like an EVS (worth well over $100K ) for ISO recording and replays.
Thank you for the video, it's really helpful! I have one question, how can I pause the replay automatically when it's done? It's switching the live (camera1) automatically when it's finished but I want to pause at the end of the replay. thank you
How did you get this footage synced up for this tutorial? I'm trying to set up an instant replay training environment for my crew members, but the only way we can do it right now is plug in several cameras and play back multicam footage. It's a real pain to sync up. And a real pain to setup more equipment than is necessary just so they can get practice reps. Any thoughts?
How to add shortcut, replaychangeSpeed to do well ini midi PL-01? Jogwheel, but the changespeed just be 10% and 100% , there is no slowup or slowdown %, could u give me the shortcut detail? Or maybe reply this comment. I'm waiting. THANKS
If you already have the laptop, you could download the vMix Trial and see how it goes. We usually recommend i7 laptops with a dedicated RTX4060 GPU- www.vmix.com/products/vmix-reference-systems.aspx
Please Vmix the tutorial is very very good and insightful... But it will also be good if you show us how you can be mixing between the four cameras and manipulating the Instant replay simultaneously.... It will really be of great help. Just imagine a live event is going on ..and u are mixing the cameras and at the same time do the replays ...
This is pretty awesome... But it seems pretty overwhelming to manage replays while you're still switching the game at the same time. Is there a multi-operator workflow that would allow for a dedicated replay technician to manage the replays while the game is playing out live?
Having this question as well. Right now for my production I'm thinking maybe a second midi controller and some sort of program that allows for two mice to be used independently on one pc?
4 cameras connected via HDMI or SDI would require a capture card installed to the computer. The Feelworld looks like it's an all in one production switcher, so you would need to do the switching and replay on that and wouldn't require vMix. If you wanted to do Replay on vMix you'd need a capture card to bring in your 4 cameras to your vMix PC.
So I’ve got a major issue that I can’t solve by myself. Is it possible to make different in-out replays simultaneously? Every time I press in while a sequence is being recorded it restarts that sequence Help pls. Tom
Hi, the instant replay is available in vMix 4K (1 channel) and vMix PRO (4 channels). As our free Trial is vMix PRO, it offers 4 channels of replay. www.vmix.com/purchase/#comparisontable
hello I have a doubt because in vMix does not give 4 options and only one gives buy key but it does not allow me to use the option list can help me please, I live in Guatemala City
vMix can be downloaded from www.vMix.com. The 4 channel instant replay is available in vMix PRO. The Free 60-day Trial is vMix PRO so you can test out these features before purchasing.
Hi, I am newbie about live streaming. Can I capture two cameras signal (sdi or hdmi from canon c100mkii and hdmi from sony 6500) to my laptop? I wish to use replay option as well. Or I need to build a pc with capture card ? I 've seen some people use blackmagic atem ,but its seems to be like just one out source ,so i won't use the instant replay options then?
Hi, if your cameras support live HDMI/SDI output then yes you would be able input them using a capture card into vMix. You can then input those cameras into vMix and use the Instant Replay. I would test out your current setup with our Free Trial and see if it fits your needs- www.vmix.com/software/download.aspx
Hello! I often use cctv IPC Dahua camera for livestream. Recently I used Replay feature but the system is not getting 60fps but only 29.97fps. I connect via RTSP protocol, the image is still receiving Vmix normally, just not getting 60fps in Replay feature. I tried the other way that via VLC rtsp it got 60fps but the latency is higher than rtsp. With Xsplit software, I see it still can receive full 60fps. Hope you help!
Hello friends, I've been using vmix for a while now, but I changed hardware and in the new vmix, I can not do that when the airplay comes out I keep telling the story and not the audio of the repetition, I under the audio of the repetition but not I get the audio of the story. I use it to transmit basketball and the repetition is only using a single camera. Thank you
Hi , how can vmix be used with a hardware switcher where vmix can be used for replay ,graphics and live stream and hardware switcher for switching only? What will be the workflow if it can work like that? Thank you
Same Question! Last I read up, vMix can't record RTSP sources, which is suprising, as RTSP and NDI both appear to be Mpeg4 streams - Newteks own 'Monitor' application records the NDI stream from a Spark as an Mpeg4 file. VLC records RTSP streams as an Mpeg4 file too. So far I've been using a second PC with multiple VLC instances open to record incoming RTSP streams, but that does mean stopping the recording to be able to access the vision for a replay.
This computer was based on our Obsidian build. We would recommend at least using one of our Ruby specced machines- www.vmix.com/products/vmix-reference-systems.aspx
Hi, depends on features you need. From $350 for multi-cam HD, $700 for 4K and $1200 for multi-channel instant replay. A full list of prices and features can be seen on our website here- www.vmix.com/purchase/

would love to see how to configure something like Xkeys jog wheel to use replay better.
vMix 21.0.0.22 is used to record this tutorial :)) Thanks for tutorial!
Which probably means that there will be no update for instant replay in Vmix 21 :-(

Hi. Is this program can create replays without camera, just from videofile? Thank you.
Do all the basic softwares come with instant replay or is it a payed part to the stream

Looks like a production switcher is not necessary....or am I missing something?
vMix is a software switcher, so if you have a capture device for your camera inputs then you do all of the switching directly from vMix.
Can it used for cricket live streaming with scorecard???? & where from we can download this sw
vMix can be downloaded from www.vMix.com. The 4 channel instant replay is available in vMix PRO. The Free 60-day Trial is vMix PRO so you can test out these features before purchasing.
my camera is coming in on NDI source in vmix but keeps freezing once it goes from cut into recording?

Please tell us...I've been waiting for an ATEM to be donated, can I proceed without it?
can you use a hard drive instead of an ssd???
1channel ok,but 4channel hdd is a little bit horrible for the input/output ability
WHY Would You WANT to?
Can vmix support 60fps above?
No currently. There are plans for 120 fps support in vMix 24.
What AJA capture card is being used here? Anybody know?
It was probably a Corvid 44
@@vMixhd oh I, see. A $2000 capture card....that little 'tidbit' was left out.
@@kduane1 Oh the capture card doesn't matter. You could use a $500 multiport card if you wanted.
