I have just used some highly sophisticated layering to create an entirely virtual TV studio and Control Room with monitors in the Control Room replicating the larger camera shot! Looks incredibly realistic - all thanks to VMix layers and green screens.
ps - I always watch these videos more than once because each time I do I pick up some little feature that Tim mentioned in passing which I hadn't registered.
Another A+++ video from Tim and the VMix Team !💛
0:24 The logo as ridiculous glasses didn't go unnoticed. 😎😁
Wow 😲😲😲: thank you Tim: you keep teaching me new features everytime I watch you
This dude has so much fun making these videos... :D
This is great for people migrating from OBS... It is definitely a learning curve but once you understand layouts and layering, the possibilities are endless!
I could never go back to OBS at this point. vMix just kills it in almost every way. Only thing keeping me using OBS at all in my production is being able to use LUTs.
THANK YOU SIR ,, VERY USEFUL FOR MY LIVE BROADCAST... GOD BLESS SIR..
7:54 that was amazing how your hand switched 🤣
Haha. Right.
thank you
I double layer for my streams of soccer matches at my work. that way I can get three different substitution graphics, yellow and red card graphics, and goal graphics for each individual team, all using just one overlay channel! Only thing is I wish that doing it like that would still allow you to use animations from GT Titles. but oh well.
0:24 lmao the eyes
Thank you for this. I have a question about the layers and B-roll. Say for instance you want your winter video to automatically take the bees when it completes..or maybe whatever you have in preview, is there a way to trigger that layer video? IE: I use triggers when I have B-roll full screen to take preview when complete. Is there a way I can have the layer B-roll "setlayer" to the B-roll I have in preview? I've been trying to trigger my sources but it doesn't seem to work. Thank you!
How do you toggle layers on/off with a fade-in or stinger transition using Shortcuts?
Hi, can you point me to the right direction, I need help to autoplay a multiview overlay upon toggling the show/hide via shortcut key. I have an input with a looping clip background and in it I have 3 layers/overlay that I show/hide using shortcut which I assign to a layer on a custom virtual set I made. I can't seem to find the option to autoplay the overlays on the multiview when I toggle the shortcut key I assigned to show/make it visible. thanks I hope you can help me...
Instead of creating a blank input and using layer 1 to set the camera as background, i just create a virtual input from the camera and do all layering on the virtual one. Is there any drawback to do like this?
I would love to know answer to this it seems smart like a trick
This works too, I make use or Virtual
How to setLayer back to previous video?
hi, How can I add border to crop web browser window?
Question! I just bought a logictech video web camera and doesn’t work with vmix! Do you have any idea how can I make work with vmix?
You could try selecting MJPG from the video format drop-down menu. If that doesn't work, send us an email with any error messages- www.vmix.com/contact-us.aspx
@@vMixhd thanks!!!
a problem occurs when applying multiview layers in virtual sets
Good morning, I have a problem when connecting Vmix with Facebook using Web cam, there is a great delay between the preview and the one on Facebook.
When streaming, there is usually going to be a delay for the stream to leave your computer and then be processed by your streaming provider. Depending on the platform it may take up to 30 seconds for your vMix output to be streamed on Facebook.
Hi. Where I can download Confetti?
Hi, the confetti was just purchased from a stock video website.
How do you add an HTML overlay? I know there's the web browser input, but this is from a local HTML file on my computer.
If you enter the local address of the html file in the URL section of the Web Browser input it should load it. For example- C:\Users\username\folder\anotherfolder\file.html
@@vMixhd Unfortunately that doesn't work. I add the file, but it doesn't play. :\
Could you send through an email for us to take a look- www.vmix.com/contact-us.aspx
I want your shirt
So now he has a giant banana in his face...ok ok go on :D
nice ending joke - later-layer
Mind numbing..... how many times will i need to watch before it begins to begin to gel.....
Gptrnrry
There is nothing in Vmix that can match the ease of OBS scenes.
