For future releases it would be very useful implementing an IF conditional feature which allow us setting a key different tasks depending on which Input is active or preview. Please consider this
You cant choose the DynamicInput in Activator "Input" menu, so the usage is limited. For many scenarios you need both - shortcut and activator for the same button with led or encoder with led.
Is there a way to live enter text to a title overlay without going through the title or modifying some other data source file? It would be great to see a DynamicValue Text Input prompt so you can enter title text on the fly. Eg In a presented live Town Hall being able to quickly enter the name of a participant that asks a question as a title text overlay would be handy. Sometimes you can't enter these up front. You could press the key for text input which would prompt a text entry box, enter the text to be displayed and then trigger the input in to the overlay with the DynamicInput. Or maybe there is another way to achieve this? Great work on the product, so much capability.
Is there a shortcut to set Dynamic1 to an input that is hovered? Like pressing F1 would set Dynamic1 to whatever input the mouse is hovered over? Set Dynamic2 would set Dynamic2 to whatever input the mouse is hovered over? I've tried using the set Dynamic1 and in the value typing "hover" or "Hover" but it doesn't work. I'm thinking of using this for Title Overlays. Hover over a lower third input, set the lower third input to Dynamic1, press a shortcut to bring on the lower third that's set as Dynamic1. In a show with lots of lower thirds, this would be good to use. If there's another way, let me know! Also, please add the ability to use a Dynamic value as an input number into a multiview/layer input.
“I have a MIDI shortcut for the cut function on cam1. How can I create a shortcut to cancel this MIDI shortcut on the keyboard or deactivate it, but also be able to activate it again? Could you explain it to me?”
Hi Tim. I set the function to overlayinput1 and the input to dynamic1 like you did in the video. When I press the "O" key, the overlay is already appearing in my program window even if I haven't set the setdynamicinput1 yet. What do you think is the problem?
I haven't tried this with dynamic inputs but you can try to do what Tim does starting at 7:21 and your value should be +=1 (the plus sign, the equal sign, and the number 1 all together). This works for inputs in regular shortcuts with any value, and you can even decrement. You'll probably need two separate text inputs (home team and visiting team), select the input you want to update, then set the new score. I use separate regular shortcuts dedicated to setting different point totals to each input, but in theory it should work with dynamic inputs.
I think a possible solution may be this: create a new input and add the image you want to scrol. In "position" set the position to start. Then create a virtual input of the previous, and with "position" put it where you want to stop. Now put the first in output, and the second one in preview, then use the transition "merge" with the time you desire.

Tim and Martin, you guys rock! Keep up the great work!
Oh wow. Many possibilities come to mind here.
Amazing new features! Will implement this to our future projects :)
Totally clear explanation! Thanks for this!

The best way to do this is using the web controller oder Vmix UTC. You can find a download link for UTC in the Vmix forum.

Great! I love the dynamic function

How to get these Vmix t-shirts???
Can you use this to change the value of the scoreboard? 1 press it will increment 1 number higher?
