Chronological order makes it a little easier to understand, in my opinion, but to each his own.

For some reason, a lot of reactors are all of a sudden getting the movie order wrong. Not sure why. But you're not alone!

@5:08 In hindsight, it could be argued that it was a bad decision that ultimately became a good one. If Tony hadn’t gone through what he did, he wouldn’t be Iron Man and wouldn’t have stopped making weapons. This “bad” decision ended up being the best thing that ever happened to him.

The advantage of watching by release date is all the post credit scenes link up to what is coming next. When viewed in chronological order that aspect is lost but that is really the only difference.
Release order is more confusing to follow the story

Also, just watch the movies by release date. Iron Man (2008) is the perfect start for the MCU.

Marvel was in a bad way finantially Iran man saved them. BUT he was not the best marvel character. They sold the best ones. Xmen, Fantastic 4 and Spiderman and all their related villains. so happy that Xmen and F4 are back under marvel. and Spidey is mostly working with them. My fav are the Xmen. Hopefully, they get rebooted well under Marvel. Shame Disney is killing Marvel. At least we got a decade or so of great Marvel movies.

Actually this is the first of the modern MCU timeline, but there were the spiderman movies, and the Hulk movie before these, but they are not in this story line.
The Original Spiderman movies weren't bad though, the just aren't the same story and should be watched separately.

Yeah but let them watch according to the release date and theirs a credit scene which can spoil
Chronological order is pointless and counter to their intention. Otherwise they would have released them that way. Release order is the only smart way to watch for the first time.
