I prefer release order just because it makes sense. That is the order the public got the information and the story. I love RDJ. He’s amazing. He’s now Iron man and sherlock holmes! That’s a hell of a comeback from rehab. Can’t wait for your reactions! I’ve been really enjoying your channel.
What other order would you possibly watch them in?

Release order is the only way
@@whitenoisereacts Totally agreed. That's the way it was written, and the way that makes the most sense.
I LOVE how James never spoils anything for Ninetailedbrush so we get to see his genuine reactions every time.
I do my best. I actually usually try and trick him lol
@@whitenoisereacts lol! #cousinbonding
I've watched a few reactions to this movie and people always get confused when Yinsen runs down the corridor shooting up instead of shooting people. I think it's an incredible moment - even after everything his captors have done to him and to others, Yinsen wants no part in killing and death. It shows a lot about this character in a small amount of time, and his influence on the course of Tony's life is huge.
Honestly nothing better than this first Iron Man, it’s just so epic!!!
winter soldier baby
literally all the capitain america films are better than iron man
@@pamelacioli I don't like the first avenger that much. Otherwise I might agree
@@becauseimbatman1391 does civil war even count. It’s literally another avengers movie
@@AnonymousSaiyan not really a fair comparison... one is an origin story, the other is already deep into the mcu plot. As far as origin movies in the mcu goes, Iron Man definetely is the best one
Oh snap, here we go!!! I've followed many reactors on their MCU journey so it'll be fun to follow you guys as well. Also, nice haircut!
It’s gonna be fun!!!
I see what you did there.
Who else has good mcu reactions?
@@bsvlogs3753 Holden Hardman has 2 series one with his friend and one with his GF both are good. You can also check out Duo Reacts who just finished catching up.
Pepper literally changed Tony's heart.
Obadiah literally ripped his heart out.
Tony didn't get stabbed in the back, he just got his heart ripped out. Brutal! 😅😂
Literally lol
"Dont waste your life." I think its safe to say that Tony Stark didn't waste his life.
Especially after seeing the rest of the MCU

My man's is a whole absolute point, yup definitely not wasting it!
Over 3 years since infinity war came out and comments like this still hurt in the best way
Lots of people do these series walk-throughs but this is the first time I am interested in watching one.
Awww, thanks

Sometimes I forget not everyone has seen the mcu movies! I'm so excited for ninetailedbrush - it's such a journey to experience as an adult! What a trip is ahead...
It's just a guess but I assume Yinsen doesn't shoot at them because he's a doctor of sorts. Do no harm y'know.
In a movie and not in the moment, it is very hard to kill someone if you are a human being. Maim probably but shooting has a high risk of killing someone with one shot. Maybe if you are far removed from that aspect of human, maybe. Like the US police, where they seems it is easy to pull the trigger even when the other person just sneezing (other factors that contributes to this loose finger syndrome is depend how much melanin the other guy is).
Yeah, i always assumed he didn't want to become a killer, he just wanted to save Tony (and maybe himself)
There is NOTHING more fun than watching all the mcu movies with someone who's never seen them before!
Was already a fan of the channel, but now I get to watch 9TB's proper journey through the MCU? Excellent!
Just so there’s no confusion, there are 2 actor changes currently in the MCU. Rhodey, who’s played by Terrance Howard, is replaced and is replaced with Don Cheadle for the foreseeable future.
"No I'm sorry, this is the fun-vee. The humdrum-vee is back there."

OMG YESSSS, I was kinda sad because Natalie Gold just finished recently her journey watching the MCU and now I get you guys watching! So happy
YES omg I never thought y’all would react to the MCU, this is going to be an amazing journey
Of course

The soldier throwing up the peace sign is why Tony always does that in future photos from then on after the attack.
When he said he wasn’t allowed to see iron man in theaters I chuckled bc my dad took me to see it when I was 5.
Bruh my parents were STRICT!!
Yeah, my dad took me to see Jaws when I was like 7.
After we won our little league championship, my dad took me & a teammate to see The Shining. We were like 12/13 years old. I was used to my dad taking me to all kinds of movies, but my friend’s parents were concerned. He was afraid to go to sleep that night, 🤣
Right on. Looking forward to this. 3 points: release order; after credit scenes; don't skip Incredible Hulk.
@@ML0694 introduces abomination who came back in Shang Chi
End credit scene is connected to the rest of the MCU but not sure Id call it a “no skip”
References SHIELD, also intros the location Mark Ruffalo’s hulk spends a bit of time.
I’d say you can skip it, but the MCU is so full of callbacks and references it’s not like the movie is void of anything.
Possibly introduces the Leader, if they ever decide on bringing that event up but it would probably end up being a different actor anyways.
If you're skipping the Hulk and going straight for Iron Man 2, I'm fine with that. But you should know that you are skipping it.
This movie was based a lot on early Iron Man stories, especially the Tales of Suspense run, including the involvement of SHIELD. Tony was actively designing for Stark Industries, just not running the business (hiring, firing, etc.). The Jericho missile in the movie was using "repulsor" technology, which as you know is a big part of the suit. As for the MCU, the series leading up to Endgame is to me the best serial fiction from Hollywood. It may remain unmatched for a long time. Harry Potter, which is shorter (but very long for the time it was made) is another top series.
Shaun Toub was awesome as Yinsen in this, one of my favorite movies. Jeff Bridges owned his role of Stane in the first villain role I remember seeing him in. Faran Tahir, the terrorist leader, is a starship captain in the rebooted Star Trek. The entire cast was great in this.
9:38 I always love this moment, when Tony says 'Nice to meet you'. Even the first time I watched it in cinemas, I thought Yinsen's reaction was more interesting than just a nice moment, but had no idea why. Then in Iron Man 3, you realise they have met before, at the New Year's Eve party. Yinsen was even introducing Tony to the same doctor who eventually removes the shrapnel from his chest in Iron Man 3. In this moment, in the cave, Yinsen chooses to say nothing about that previous encounter. These details are amazing.
He dose mention it in the cave.
This is definitely gonna be my favourite reaction series ever.
I’ve been meaning to watch all the MCU movies might as well watch it with y’all 💀
If you have never seen them before, do not watch them for the first time on reaction videos 😂😂
@@pauljones77 😂you right I probably shouldn’t

Oh wow. I didn’t know we were going on the MCU journey. I binged the Harry Potter reactions a week or two ago and became a fan of you guys. Can’t wait.
I’m so happy you’re doing this in release order. I have an unnatural hatred for people who watch in chronological order 😂
I know I don’t get that at all
i watched them in chronological order a few months ago 😭😭 it's bc as a newbie i had no clue what movies and characters were when so it helped sort the universe out in my head
What negatives does that have exactly? Last time I watched the movies was in chronological order and it was great seeing the universe build up
@@grydon6422 They were released in this order for a reason. Did you watch the end credits scenes? Because if you did, it would not have made any sense and would have spoiled future movies.
I’m fine with watching them in chronological order if you’ve already seen them, I’ve done it myself. But to watch them chronologically the first time, is something only a moron would do.
No, they were released in an order that would be the most profitable. There is a reason places like Disney+ give an official chronological order for the movies to watch them in as well.
Again, which end credit scenes spoil future movies or ”don’t make sense”? Because yes I did watch them too of course and didn’t notice any inconsistencies.
Really curious because I’m planning on showing these to family members in the near future and chronological would have definitely been the way to go.
You understood part of the significance of Robert Downey Jr's past. Downey was indeed a recovered alcoholic. In the comics, Tony Stark was also an alcoholic. Stark succumbs to his alcoholism at the end of issue 169. His bodyguard James (Rhodey) Rhodes then valiantly dons the Ironman armour which he doesn't yet know how to use in order to protect Stark International from a villains attack. A good number of issues later (Something like 30) Stark eventually returns to the role and Rhodes is rewarded with the War Machine armour.
Downey is brilliant in the role because he actually feels like the Tony Stark some of us read as kids. The only fault in this series is that James' original comic introduction would have been better than the one put to screen.
Downey is a recovered addict, not just an alcoholic. He was getting into it back in the day.
He had big drug problems so Marvel didn't want to take the risk of casting him. Apparently he kept bugging them until they gave him the part. Over a decade later, it's hard to imagine anyone else in the role!
RDJ's lowest point, according to him, that got him to get rehab was when he went for a cheeseburger after a binge and was so wasted he couldn't even taste it.
That's why he put the cheeseburger scene in (Favreau and him basically wrote the movie script on the fly before each scene because they only had the rough layout of the story, that's why all the dialogue seems so natural).
NineTailedBrush is in for the journey of a lifetime. This franchise is unmatched🙌🏼🙌🏼
Great reaction from both of you! I love seeing these types of series where you’ve seen the movie before and ninetailedbrush hasn’t, it’s so fun to see both types of reactions (fan vs first time viewer) in the same video. I really liked how much ninetailedbrush tries to empathize and understand the various character’s psychologies (you do too of course, but I know you probably have to bite your tongue a lot so as not to spoil anything). Really excited to see you guys go through all of MCU. Release order is the best order, imo.
12:11
The reason Yinsen doesn't shoot at them is becaue he's a doctor, and most doctors take their oath of doing no harm very seriously, even when in a bad position.
I think it's a really nice touch to the movie as it solidifies Yinsen's character, he's a pacifist in every sense.
They could have had him shoot the bad guys but it would diminish the character just to look cooler.
Worth the patreon subscription for this marathon. Can't wait to go through this ride again.
YOU'RE STARTING THE MCU??? OMG I'M SO EXCITED TO WATCH THIS
1. Nice hair cut and nice hoodie!
2.WOOOO MCU!!! Let's go!
Ahhh! First Shadow and Bone and now the MCU!!! Y’all are the best, I’m so excited!
It's funny to hear someone so much younger talk about Robert Downey Jr like that. I'm old enough to remember his early days, and I've loved him from his very first movie. He's always been a tremendous actor and it was so painful watching him go through all that he went through all those years. I'm genuinely so thrilled that he has come through it all and has had such success after dealing with so much. I'm working my way through the MCU myself these days so this was good timing. Personally so far the first Avengers movie has been my favorite but I have a long way to go yet!
I actually some of his older stuff better, but I was too young when he was in his prime. I discovered him through Iron Man and Tropic Thunder
Just gotta say, Ninetailedbrush looks super handsome with that short hair!
Can't wait to see his reactions to this universe.
My man´s new haircut is cleaaan! Glad to see you both reacting to one of the best sagas of cinema.
OMG I'm so excited for this series!! I've been through this same experience of watching all the MCU with a Marvel fan and it's the best way to get into it. I really like how both of you explain your points of view and really get into the character's skin to understand them.
And btw ARE THOSE THE WINGS OF FREEDOM I SEE??? Kyaaaaa
Eeeeeren Jaegerrrrrrrr
Bro…. This journey is gonna rack up those subs.
When Stan Lee created Iron Man in the 60's, he took the challenge of making a brilliant, eccentric, inventor like Howard Hughes into a tragic hero. Defense manufacturers were unpopular due to Vietnam. So, Tony was captured by a warlord after being mortally wounded by Stark munitions. The camp held Yinsen, who saved Tony's life. Jungle instead of mountains in the desert.
You should add The Rocketeer to your future non-MCU watch list.
You guys are churning up videos and I'M LIVING FOR IT !!
Definitely one of my favorite movies all time, not just Marvel..I've watched many times..and the humor just feel natural and is amusing, in other proceeding MCU the humor, though still funny, always feels..not forced but more rehearsed..
The "how it should have ended" for this makes so much sense that I'll never take the final fight seriously again😂
I love it when the fans are the ones introducing the MCU to the first timers. Unlike when the new watchers go into it without any guide
who watches one Marvel movie and not watch the rest? From Blade to Punisher to Daredevil to Fox's Xmen, to Sony's Spiderman and finally to the whole MCU. Loved them all
"The truth is....I am Iron Man."
- Tony Stark
Still the best MCU movie imo, movie is absolute gold.
I've actually met Jeff Bridges before back in 2018. He was endorsing a local politician he knew personally, but I didn't go to the assembly to support the politician, I went there to meet Jeff Bridges in person (can you really blame me?). As an artist I drew a portrait of Kevin Flynn as he appeared in the original Tron film, and I had Jeff Bridges sign the portrait. It's framed on my bedroom wall right now.
I didn't get to interact with Bridges at all, he was on his way out at the time and flooded by several dozen fans with various items for him to sign. It's was just a "Can you please sign this?" followed by an "Oh..." It was still special for me though despite how brief and impersonal the encounter was.
Yesterday I just finished the Harry Potter saga on the channel and now you guys started the mcu series, amazing!!
Ohhhhh yeah!!
Great start for the MCU. Still the best one of all the movies.
If only Obadiah didn't try to get Tony killed, he would still be living making money from his side deals and Tony would still be making weapons and may be he would have made more dangerous weapons than Jericho which would have in-turn made Obadiah richer. Iron Man can be reduced to a tale of greed
"this is your ninth symphony", terrific line.
Dude I had no idea this series was happening. Been here since the Conjuring series and LoTR trilogy watch thru. This is gonna be awesome
Fun fact: "I am Iron Man" was adlibbed!!
as is A LOT of RDJ's lines lol. He is such a talented actor
actually, Tony said - I'd be out of a job with peace. Because if there's peace there's no need for weapons lol
i was really hoping this journey was going to be starting soon. let’s GO.
Glad to see you're dipping into the MCU. I look forward to more. Plus... Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Highly recommend!
Start after Iron Man 3.
Fun fact. RDJ credits Burger King for saving him from himself. While eating one of their burgers he realized the only good thing in his life was that burger. That's why he has burger King in the movie upon being saved.
It's been a while since I've watched all the MCU from the beginning, this will be so much fun to re-watch with you guys :D

I love Iron man! the movie is one of my favourites and the character is definitely my favourite, im excited to watch the rest of the series!!
Definitely agree release order is the way to go for the MCU. Yet it sounded like u talked about watching Iron Man 2 second, and Iron Man 2 is actually the third MCU movie when going by release order. The second movie in the MCU by release order is The Incredible Hulk.
Dude it’s awesome watching people react to these can’t wait and I subscribed

It's crazy to think that this movie was a last ditch attempt to make money off one of their lesser known characters but ended up being the catalyst for a twelve year story, creating the highest grossing franchise of all time

Will y’all include The Incredible Hulk? I know a lot of people aren’t fans of this movie but, I hope y’all will react to it. 💜
It’s not a very good movie. I usually just tell reactors to watch it in their own if they really want to see it. And to make sure it’s not the Ang Lee version, although it’s probably just as good for getting the general idea of The Hulk across.
@@goldenageofdinosaurs7192
That’s only your opinion. I really don’t see what is actually that bad about this movie. Also, after going back and rewatching the Ang Lee version, it’s not as bad of a movie as I originally thought.💜
I'd say Tony's father definitely has some part to play in all this....
Damn, Ninetailedbrush already figured out the conflict in this movie in the first 10 minutes (regarding Stark Industries secretly giving their weapons to The 10 Rings).
Lmao! I was trying to trick him but he got it
In the comics the villain is called The Iron Monger
So, keep in mind some context here. When this movie came out and they did that end credit scene, of course people got excited about it. But end credit teases were nothing new so people were ready for it not to pan out. But then in the Incredible Hulk's end credit scene, that's where everything changed. As soon as Tony Stark showed up and said "What if I told you we were putting together a team?" That's such a significant moment in MCU history. This was Marvel putting their money where their mouth was and saying "We're really doing this."
I'd call that low key brilliant myself
If you guys reacted to the agents of SHIELD tv show that would be amazing
I can't believe you didn't immediately sus onto the conspiracy of the baldies.
And this scene 18:00 is the closest Gwyneth Paltrow will be from helping some one medically.
Don’t forget about the Incredible Hulk lol
The doctor shot in the air because he values life and will never take one.
How to get me to rewatch the entire series: watch you guys♡
