You know two of the three things in MCU movies: 1. Stan Lee cameos. 2. End credit scenes. The third is: 3. One scene in every movie where someone jumps/falls/ejects out of an aircraft.
44:55 Fun fact just a few years ago they released an alternate cut scene of Nick Fury mentioning some really interesting stuff before turning around to Tony Stark. In this deleted scene Nick would've said *"As if Gamma Accidents, radioactive bug bites, and assorted mutants weren't enough. I have to deal with a spoiled brat who doesn't play well with others and wants to keep all his toys to himself".* Gamma Accidents is a fun nod to The Hulk, next film in the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) release order. But radioactive bug bites is very interesting as this seems like a reference to Spider-Man. The last one though is the biggest reveal, assorted mutants a clear reference to The X-Men and mutants in general. Why was the scene cut? Well Sony own the movie rights to Spider-Man, releasing there first Spider-Man film in 2002 and originally planned to release a Spider-Man 4 around 2008 until it was cancelled. So naturally unless Sony and Marvel made a deal they'd be no way for Spider-Man to show up in the MCU by appearance or mention. The X-Men were owned by Fox with them releasing X-Men in 2000 followed by it's sequels with Fox being very protective with there X-Men rights. The original plan/hopes of Marvel was to somehow convince Sony and Fox to bring there universes together to allow Spider-Man and the X-Men films to exist in this new Marvel Cinematic Universe so we could see them interacting on screen like the comics. But this never happened in the case of the X-Men, Thankfully Marvel and Sony made a deal so that's why there's Spider-Man films in the MCU such as Spider-Man: Homecoming, Far From Home, and No Way Home. As of 2019 Marvel now own the movie rights to X-Men with Disney buying Fox. So it's just a matter of how they'll introduce X-Men into the MCU with Deadpool 3 (2024) being the first X-Men/Mutant related film to take place in the MCU. So yeah the MCU would've be way differant if Sony and Fox got together with Marvel and were apart of the MCU from the beginning.
Some have an extra scene right at the beginning of the credits, some mid-credit, and some at the very end. And some have multiple ones. It's best to just watch all the way thru to the end to play it safe.
Always my favorite! Yinsen mentioned him and Tony met before. That gets shown later and most reaction persons miss it so here is your hint! One minor flaw, when Tony announced they were ambushed with his own weapons immediately high government powers would have pounced and found out who!! Great Reaction! Can't wait for the others. The next one is at least equal! Peace 🕊️☮️♾️😎
ATC or any other surface to air would have an incredibly hard time picking up iron man on radar. His cross section would be smaller than the width of a bee.
Yep, for a first time viewing of the MCU the release order is the best. The easter eggs and references in the mid and post-credits scenes work better. The chronological order is better for a rewatch.
@35:20 Obadiah is speaking to William Ginter Riva in this scene. Peter Billingsley played him here and reprised the role eleven years later in Spider-Man: Far From Home.
26:32 when he's firing the hand blaster, if you play it in slow motion you can actually see the energy routing from the reactor in his chest through the cable to his hand.
Glad to see most of the comments these days finally recommend watching MCU in release order. Now I hope the same happens in the Star Wars crowd eventually. I think the only people who should be watching any franchise in anything other than release order, are people who can't separate fiction from reality. Anybody that can do that will appreciate how writers who write prequels are fully aware that everybody watching in theaters knows what the events they're seeing are supposed to eventually lead to.
29:30-29:38 "Funny that air traffic control wouldn't pick him up on the way over there" As they had just said, it's tiny compared to aircraft, and has a minimal radar cross section. They're guessing it's an unmanned aerial vehicle (drone). Until they knew they were looking for it, they couldn't see it. They had high hopes for building what would later be announced as the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it all hinged on the success of a few movies. By dropping "The Avenger Initiative" into a post credit scene, they created a buzz about it, but didn't actually announce it. Much like many movies in the 80s, a teaser for a "sequel" was often put at the end of a movie, even without a concept, because if the movie did well, you can guarantee someone will put up the money to make a sequel to cash in on it.
Glad you're watching in release order. People tend to forget that although there was some planning for the over-arching story, these films were also being written and filmed in response to each other. Even the films which seem separate from the others have references to past films. Interesting trivia: In the final battle on the highway the original plan was for the Audi R8 to flip when it hit Iron Monger and be torn apart by Iron Man, but the car was so well built they couldn't get it to do either. The scene was rewritten to what's in the film and the team was so impressed by the car that it was featured in Iron Man 2 as well.
Ah don't worry like the comics the Guardians of the Galaxy films are pretty disconnected to everything Earth based so you didn't get spoiled about anything. Would be differant if you reacted to one of the Avengers films before watching Iron Man so going release order now is just perfect. Marvel also has alot of end credit scenes that tease the next film so if you watch out of order then those teasers would make zero sense, while some end credits are just for fun.
one thing to add about the watch order for the MCU, if you really enjoy the franchise, Marvel recently confirmed that the Daredevil tv show (and the other netflix made marvel shows) are considered canon. Before this year they were still considered canon but also kind of stand-alone, with a few exceptions, which also means they were often not included in the watch order or they were often skipped by a lot of people, at least before they added them to disney+.
Please stay in order...........Real fans also point out each time Stan Lee makes a cameo per movie. As you have been told it was ok to have seen Guardians out of order. It stands alone at this point in the MCU.
@26:10 RDJ is damn good with the gift of gab, but in this moment, he’s also damn good at showing silent rage at Obadiah’s confession. You can clearly see it in his eyes.
Regarding Tony's security--- He probably has something, but up until about a day ago, Obadiah would have been one of his most trusted friends. He probably had the code, and Tony never thought to change it or lock him out.
Found your channel and just subbed. Love your reaction. Good that you will be watching in release order. Look for the Marvel One Shots that start with Thor. At 13:18 of your video look at the face of the terrorist and see if you recognize him. If you are into 1990's music you will recognize Tom Morello. He also played some guitar for the musical score.
This video was just recommended to me and I am HERE for it! I regularly search for reactors, reacting to the MCU for the first time and I’m sure many others do too! I’m excited to follow you guys through this journey! New sub here!
If I recall correctly, RDJ ad libbed the last line, and they rolled with it. Tony did the secret identity thing, in the comics. And yeah, release order.
RDJ ... IS ... Iron Man, or rather: he is Tony Stark, because he WROTE A LOT OF THE DIALOGUE, which is a huge reason why this became soooo successful. Tony Stark has the right kind of mix between charming and narcissist and insolent and humorous.
Gotta do the release order cause of the mid and post credit scenes. They lead to the next movie. It’s so hard to watch these reactors when they say something that will eventually happen and not say anything cause you don’t want to spoil it for them. 17:16 they used Burger King cause Burger King has a special place in Robert Downey Jr’s heart. Burger King helped him quit drugs. He got a burger one night and it tasted disgusting to him and realized he couldn’t enjoy a burger so he drove to the coast and threw the drugs in the ocean (plenty of happy aquatic creatures that night) and turned his life around. He started studying Wing Chun. Jon Favreau took a big risk on him to play Tony Stark cause if this movie failed Marvel would be gone. They put all the characters they still had rights to up as collateral to pay for this movie and thus creating the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Thanks to Disney I believe that Sony is the only company now that has the rights to some of Marvel’s characters. With the purchase of 20th Century Fox, Disney was able to give those Marvel characters back to Marvel.
Currently at 5:16 and just wanted to say I’d love for y’all to react to these movies in chronological order. Marvel can sometimes get confusing so it’d not only help keep everything clear but it would also help introduce you into such a spectacular universe. Growing up watching these movies I can say with 99% surety you wont regret watching these. Thanks for the video!!
Honestly, if there was a movie to watch out of order, Guardians was probably the best because it's kind of a standalone with not much tie in other than locations until much later.
at 12:56 rarely anybody notices that yensen purposefully shoots like a dumbass so that nobody gets shot. It is because he is a honest doctorr by heart, and is true to his oath of saving life, not taking them. Pretty cool detail if you ask me.
You don't want to watch in chronological timeline order as it will spoil elements in the other movies. They are meant to be watched in release order. It's the equivalent of watching the Phantom Menace in Star Wars before watching the original trilogy. It spoils everything that comes after. Always theatrical release order at least for the first viewing. For the best viewing experience. Enjoy the ride! 😂
I look forward to your reactions of the other MCU movies. I envy the journey both of you about to embark upon. You can watch as many films in whatever timeframe you want. The rest of us had to invest and wait 11 years to see Iron Man through Avengers: Endgame.
Just found this reaction! Was a great reaction and yes please follow the release order! I will follow your MCU journey. I see you uave John Wick up also! I will be watching that as well! Great reaction
You're editing is really good. I'm not a reactor but from watching many of them, you might wanna cut the F's from your videos. I think RUclips takes away your money for that. Just saying
If you're here to start a big fresh MCU reaction watchalong, just know that these two don't really seem to truly enjoy them. They seem to like all of them but it's clear by the end of Endgame they don't really get what the big deal is. WHICH IS FINE for them. Just warning newcomers. Some have suggested they've seen all the movies already but I don't think that's the case. Even on a second viewing of Endgame there should be some sort of emotion but no. I genuinely think these two don't really care for movies in general.
*For sure continue in release order. It’s so much more satisfying and easy to follow along*
I'm gonna join the crowd and say, "Please watch these in release order." It's like a puzzle. Each movie links to the next.
You know two of the three things in MCU movies:
1. Stan Lee cameos.
2. End credit scenes.
The third is:
3. One scene in every movie where someone jumps/falls/ejects out of an aircraft.
I had no clue about the 3ᴿᴰ one lol
You wont be disappointed in your adventure thru the Marvel franchise. Definitely go in order as it all ties together.
Yeah but be careful after Endgame. It gets bad.
@@toshtao1 True
Please please I beg of you 🙏🙏🙏continue in release order
Tony is 1 of if not the smartest Superhero because he always learns from his mistakes

26:26 in the comics Obadian Stane is an enemy of Tony Stark not a family friend. So old school comics fans knew he was up to no good right away.
And there are always going to be at least 1 after credit scene, if not more than 1
Some have an extra scene right at the beginning of the credits, some mid-credit, and some at the very end. And some have multiple ones. It's best to just watch all the way thru to the end to play it safe.
Not always tho, Endgame doesnt have one.
@@Hyp333R Well.... yes and no. There is a little Easter Egg at the end of that if you listen carefully...
@@minnesotajones261 yes, but its not post credit scene

Eh, zemo went nuts😂
The villains were working with Hydra.
You are in for a ride! A few lows but lots of highs. Enjoy the journey!
yensen ignited a fire in tony stark that eventually lead to the birth of MCU and made tony into a legend.
But Yinsen isn't the only foreign scientist that mentors a hero
Awesome! Glad you two decided to watch these.

The whole arc is great, but some flight scenes and use of armor is at its absolute best in the first film. So glad you watched it!
26:32 when he's firing the hand blaster, if you play it in slow motion you can actually see the energy routing from the reactor in his chest through the cable to his hand.

RELEASE ORDER!!! I don't understand why people don't do this. Always in release order... that goes for any movie.
Be aware that Rhodey will be played by a different actor when u get to Iron Man 2. Don Cheadle will replace Terrence Howard.
All the movies are based on the comic books, so they have the story already mapped out- all the way through Endgame.
If I recall correctly, RDJ ad libbed the last line, and they rolled with it. Tony did the secret identity thing, in the comics. And yeah, release order.
