The Hulk Smash On Loki will always be funny no matter how many times I watch this movie
I remember when I first saw that, I was laughing like Bradley Cooper and could not stop for 20 minutes. Good times.
Puny God
That little whimper Loki lets out after the beating is the cherry on top of the sundae. 😏
I laughed so hard and so long that thankfully I was watching on DVD and I could backup because I missed the next 5 minutes of the movie
That was my father's favorite part before he passed away when we watched the movie. Everytime I see that part it reminds me of him and his laugh. 😊
You... MISSED the most important mid-credit scene of the entire series.
You guys missed it. There was another end credits scene. Some of the Marvel movies will have more than one. Be sure to check all the way through.
I love the tacit revelation that Banner only transforms into a rampaging Hulk after all the grunting and groaning _because he's resisting it,_ but when he transforms voluntarily it's spontaneous and maintains some semblance of control.
In this continuity, when Banner transforms into the Hulk due to rage or pain, it's an uncontrollable monster. Transforming when he's calm, the Hulk is also calmer and more reasonable.
Fun Fact : RDJ tended to hide snacks around the set, so anytime hes eating something its because they didnt find it
"T.A.H.I.T.I. It's a magical place."
I got a plan... this is a GoOd oNe.
People really tend to mistake Steve as some kind of rule follower, like a lawful good paladin. But we have to remember, when we first meet him he’s breaking the law. He’s lied several times on his various enlistment forms. He becomes the REAL Captain America by violating orders and going off on his own.
But, then again, I think a lot of people misunderstand Steve, as we see later on in the series. Tony doesn’t actually understand him at all.
Yes, what people expect of Steve is a good soldier, but he is not just a good little soldier, he follows orders a lot of times because they conveniently fit into his sense of right, but doesn't hesitate at all to break them if they don't. And what Tony says should always be taken with a grain of salt imho😂
Square with an edge
Yeah. It's a weird misconception that Steve is the typical goody two shoes. In reality he is a die hard "everything for the people" type of person, even if it massively contradicts current law.
Is it the law, but bad for the people? F the law.
Is it good for the people but against the law? F the law.
The good of the people comes first and foremost. That's most of Captains America. Well, let's not forget america's ass of course.
The same thing can be said about Steve, tho. He doesn't understand Tony at all,
Isn't his whole origin story him lying on government documents, disobeying direct orders while he didn't have much combat training (how long was he in boot camp before he got forcibly turned into a parade boy?) and I don't think he actually earned his rank except for the war propaganda he got featured on (while he definitely has accomplishments that deserve some title after the fact, that doesn't substitute leadership training.).
One of my favorite little things is RDJ walking around with his snack. He really did hide bags of snacks around the set so he could snack during filming, that part was unscripted.
apparently the Shawarma line was improvised by him as well.
@TheFergo911 yes it was.
@TheFergo911 , as was the Shawarma Scene at the end. It was filmed the week before opening weekend.
@CorwinPatrick exactly, that's why Cap keeps his face covered. Chris had grown a beard for filming his next role, so he couldn't show his face for continuity.
Guys you Missed another Post credit scene, plz check that out
Maybe they watched it off camera but it does seem like they sort of just skipped through it
@@quincyn19 I hope so
I'm thinking they watched it but they already know who Thanos is because they've seen Guardians and one of the last Avengers movies. So maybe just didn't have it in the video. It comes before the Shawarma scene so I'm guessing just off screen.
@@gc5763 WTF they’ve seen one of the last avengers movies??
@@motodorki think they mentioned that they watched either Infinity War or Endgame (most likely) back when it came out, but nothing else
Tony, Natasha and Loki are equally my favourite characters from Marvel.🥰
"Commit Sudoku". 😂 Nice one. Sepuku, if anyone is wondering...
I was looking for this comment, as one who has committed sudoku many times.
Sudoku is death by numbers
Glad I'm not the only one who caught that. 😂
12:38 All the way against the left edge is a woman with golden curls. She's a friend of mine! It happened to be her birthday. Someone overheard this fact when she talked on her phone. Later, everyone sang the song to her, including Robert Downey Jr and the others!
If you missed it, there was a mid-credit scene as well. Here's where to check for each:
Mid-credit - look at the end of the "fancy" credits before the text crawl credits.
End-credit - after the "text crawl" credits and before the Marvel logo.
Not every movie has both, but that's where to check in the credits for every movie.
Except Guardians of the Galaxy movies.... just watch the whole credits for those.
23:25 Whenever Thor fights mortals he holds back.
Once in the comics, Tony Stark pissed him off so bad Thor let loose with everything he had. Tony’s armor was scrap afterwards.
Loki has always been a fascinating and complex character. The recent LOKI Disney Plus series though, that elevated him to my favorite character in the entire MCU.
same brou
Each mcu movie has a post credit scene sometimes there is two. So happy there is still new people discovering this era of marvel for the first time it is truly special.
Agreed
It’s fun watching people go through the MCU slowly going “I’m not sure if I like Tony as much as I used to anymore.”
Ikr, at some point, his character development just stagnates and *SPOILER*
he starts to justify all his wrongs all the time.
I actually loved him in Phase 1, but by the end I couldn't stand him🤷.
@@Jok-ly2uk I’m not sure if I’d call it stagnant, but yeah he definitely takes a turn where unless you’re blinded by his charisma, you see him becoming more and more unlikable and more desperate to be seen as “responsible” while never actually taking responsibility or ownership for anything.
@@Jok-ly2uk It's because they kept undoing every last film. Avengers ignores his development in IM2, Age of Ultron undid his development from IM3, Civil War undid his development in both, Homecoming doesn't even match with his character in Civil War.
Thats how I felt about cap lol.
Loki generally believes that he is smarter than everyone else; notice, however, that the only person Loki really doesn't talk down to is Tony Stark.
18:19 Steve is still so pure and good here☺ Though the world around him changes, he still remains good at heart and trying to do the right thing, that's what makes him such a great leader and the moral center of the Avengers. Now I'm curious about what you'll think of the next movies!
Finally time for the 1st Avengers movie been waiting days for this reaction
"I'm Loki, of Asgard, and im burdened with glorious purpose"
Do not dismiss the belief that Loki has some good to him still. I believe the directors confirmed that the bad guys Loki was working for tortured him, hence his look on this movie
And that Hulk scene with him punching the Leviathan will forever be one of the most iconic scenes in the MCU for me
Btw Tony always improves his suits based on past problems, thats the reason his suit now charges when Thor hits him with lightning, because when he fought Whiplash with his electric whips, his suit ended up all ruined
Seriously, shut the fuck up. Let them discover for themselves.
Loki isn't "good" or "evil", he's whatever suits the situation at a particular time.
not exactly he is good and evil but thats because he is broken and hurt and destroyed from finding out his true heritage finding out he was nothing more then another stolen item locked up till odin had use for him
Loki is evil and evil. He is never good. He committed mass murder and tried to enslave the world. What did he ever do that was good?
@PhilBagels the world is already enslaved pretty much it wouldnt have made a difference and loki isnt pure evil anyway he is broken and doing what he thinks he has to you would know this if you watched any thor movie ever expect the new one
@@FaZeDeath-1 We're not talking about the state of the world, we're talking about Loki. Loki is 100% evil. He is 0% good. Every single character in Marvel has a troubled family background - that's pretty much a requirement. But they each make an individual choice to do good or evil.
Not everyone needs to know calculus. Not everyone needs to know how to speak Tagalog. But everyone needs to know the difference between good and evil, otherwise that's a serious mental deficiency.
Can you point to a scene where he did something good? Did he give a dollar to charity? Did he pick up a piece of litter? Did he help an old lady across the street?
@PhilBagels right no good not a chance well you believe what you believe and i will believe what i believe 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
About Tony's power going to 400% after being hit by lightning, it is something that will never be said out loud, but Tony always upgrades his suits to function better against what it had problems dealing with earlier. In Iron Man 2 electricity was the problem, and by this movie he has already developed a work around into his design. This is just a small detail, but it remains consistent throughout the movies.
Because Tony learns from his mistakes 😂
The fun thing about the flying monkeys bit is the Steve Rodgers probably watched The Wizard of Oz when it first came out in theaters.
The big Arc for Tony is that at the start Steve says Tony's not the kind of guy who would lie one the wire for a teammate and in the end he is willing to sacrifice himself with the nuke to save the team and the world.
The heroes have their own personal lives and storylines besides the avengers things that they do which is why u still have the solo films like iron man 3 and some of the movies in the future
You missed one post credit scene
Reactors always seem to for whatever reason lol
@@rashadwalker8218 i think cuz they are new and they just heard post credit scenes nothing more, they assume its just one per movie.
"Everything special about you came out of a test tube." "You're not the one to make the sacrifice play." Condemnations with far-reaching echoes. And both are spectacularly wrong. But... you'll see how. I really appreciate that they didn't make everyone get along right away... because there was no way that they would have. I do think that this movie, more than anything, was what sold me on the MCU as a whole. I've been happy to be on the ride ever since, and I've loved being there for the MCU journey of several reactors like yourselves. Oh... and "Glorious purpose." That's a line I'll never hear the same way again.
"oh nooo now he's free of freedom" LMAO!!!
As other people have said there was another credit scene. Moving forward most movies will have more than one post credit scene, usually one after the "fancy" credits and then the one all the way at the end. Guardians of the Galaxy 2 has multiple throughout the credits.
Agent Coulson died? Find out on agents of shield. In my top 5 fav shows ever, agents of shield is EPIC
Harry Dean Stanton asking Banner if he's an alien; Brett had a real bad experience with an alien once.
They're called THE AVENGERS, so when Coulson was saying his last words, I'm pretty sure what he was going to say was "This was never going to work if they didn't have something to.. AVENGE" And as we saw, they avenged him.
21:47 i think its interesting how Cap and Tony are ready to fight but everything gets very real when Bruce talks about committing suicide
I love me some iron man and black widow. She’s literally a human that can hold her own against monsters. No power & still a beast
There were some cut scenes that had Steve adjusting to modern life, that also involved that blonde waitress character, which is why we get the scene of her recognizing him later. They also had a different Stan Lee cameo in them.
This is the movie where Loki became my favorite MCU character. I can’t wait for you guys to see more of his journey.
💚
Can’t wait for phase 2. Love the reactions!
I haven't watched Avengers in a long time. It was really nice to watch the movie again and see your reactions to it ❤
You are right. Her name is Black Widow.
Guys you forgot to check another one... Always go through the end of Marvel movies...
Of all the MCU films, this is one of those that never gets old. I cant watch this and not feel like a kid.
Increase the reaction time guys
First actor to play hulk and banner edward Norton only provided facial capture but did do mocap like mark did
You're going to love Loki a lot more when you keep watching.
And once again, first time reactors miss the mid-credit scene, which is actually the most important one xDD
Keep that in mind, many movies will have a mid-credits and a post-credits scene in the future.
Funny. They never mention in all the films he's in. Loki's canon weight is about 500 pounds. So the man is dense in stature and as a Frost Giant, his skin is basically bulletproof. It's just his brother Thor is even stronger than that. And can throw him around fairly easily.
"I'm sure agent Cullson will be there" 😅😅😂😂
Loki is a god like thor bullets not goin to bother him lol
In the comics. Whenever say Iron Man or Cap. Had a crises. Calling the Avengers was like using a shotgun to kill an ant. So over kill, or the Avengers were scattered. Thor was usually off planet taking care of galactic business. ex. in an Iron Man arch. His armor was taken over by a villain and Tony killed someone on national tv. ppl all over the world saw it. The Avengers had to distance themselves or be known to associate with him. Tony had to solve his own problem himself. Cap usually went on missions which needed to be kept secret. Calling the avengers would cause to much attention or they would disagree with Caps methods and ideology. The comics were so much fun to read back them. If anyone wants an Avengers fix. The comics have a super rich history to occupy you for a couple of years
This was so terrific when it came out. A promise fulfilled! We had never seen something like this.
I would pay an ungodly amount of money to erase the memories I have of these movies so I could experience them again for the first time
Every unrecognized superhero must battle the other superheroes before revealing the movie’s plot… it’s law
"Commit Sudoku"
Yes keep em coming🔥
12:14 ayy the liberator of eyeballs!!
It never fails to make me laugh seeing Hulk ragdoll Loki. 😅😂🤣☠
Bullets don’t affect Loki because he is a God. The God of Mischief. He’s known as Coyote in Native American lore. Cheers
21:48 This is actually a reference to a deleted scene from The Incredible Hulk movie, available on the DVD/Blu-ray bonus features.
❤❤ loki❤❤❤
*Agent Romanoff, you missed me?*
Ac Dc turn up, epic!
Hulk puts Loki into floor makes me think of Wile E. Coyote.
This first "Avengers" film is great. It's easily on my "Top 200 MCU Films of the Decade" list.
Wtf - unbelievable that there are still out there that haven’t seen this movie.
God look what have they have done to Hulk he was so good😭
Did he say Commit Sudoku?😂
Nice reaction....is there a schedule for these mcu movies?
Great reaction you guys
16:30 Lol Damn you guys didn’t include the “Shakespeare in the park” and “Does mother know you weareth her drapes?” lines. They’re probably my 2 favorite lines in the whole movie. (Top 5 at least and tbhI think Tony takes the other 3 spots too. Maybe lol Thors got a couple really good ones too.)
Loki is so good character after the serial
Loki is gonna turn out to be one of your favorite characters just wait 🗣️
I don't know if you missed the mid-credit scene or just didn't include it in the RUclips edit, but the mid-credit scene revealed who the "main" bad guy behind all the events of the film actually was. Knowing that information is important for going forward in the MCU.
Clint Barton's superhero name is Hawkeye
8:45 Wager made "10 bucks says you're wrong"
11:45 Steve Rogers honors the bet.
"He could have lied" That wouldn't be very Captain America of him.
Im gonna Pause until Avengers 2 is uploaded. Back2 Back wouls be more fun
have you watched the mid credits scene??
next is Phase 2 with Iron Man 3, Thor: Dark world, Captain America: Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Age of Ultrob and Ant-Man..
Alright, yay. 🎉
Best MCU handsdown
Committing Sedoku...very painful way to die. 😁
How do you miss a important post credit
Harry Dean Stanton's cameo was a little strange, and you picked up on what could not have been a script error. How did he know the Hulk would return to Banner's form. I've always believed he was not human but some higher level observer on Earth, but just what from the Marvel universe I'm not sure. Any ideas from anyone else?
Thor is so powerfull that the Director gave him barely any screentime in the first two avengers movie, such a shame.
You missed the most important post credits scene in the whole franchise lol.
I suggest you leave the credits rolling instead of skipping through them so you don't miss any mid and post credits scenes in the future. Most of the movies have multiple of them, sometimes up to 5.
Sometimes there is more then one after credit scene in some of these marvel movies and shows
ngl.... I'm loving these reactions 😀
2024
First time watching avengers movie ….. 1 ?????
Where do you live ?
Afghanistan ?????
Into a cave ????
How is it possible to only see avengers 1 in 2024 ?
im genuinely shocked you never seen this movie before wow well cant wait to see what you think of this movie
32:54 " If She Falls Then She Is Dead Right? " 😅
Loki is my favourite character ever
Please check for all end credits scenes in these movies. For the most part there will be 2 end credit scenes. There are exceptions like with GotG2 having 5 if I'm not mistaken.
25:35 This was never gonna work, if they didn't have something to....
avenge
You missed the end credits scene with Thanos' first appearance
WTF? Is it me or Tristan looks a lot like Zlatan Ibrahimovic? 👀
Thanks for such an awesome review you guys.
But word of warning, when you get to Infinity War/Endgame you will need a few Costco size Kleenex boxes.
Welcome to MCU family
If you liked the scenes with the hulk you’ll love Thor ragnarok when you get to it
to me, this is the best marvel movie of them all.
Keep in mind the more you watch these MCU movies, that there's usually END CREDITS that you need to (watch at the end) of EACH movie.... At LEAST one or two . 😀
So when’s the Patreon coming 😂😊. Always look forward to joining someone’s Patreon for full reaction and I know I speak for many when I say I’d def sign up!
I LOVE LOKI💚💚💚
