Been a while since I've given you guys backstory or hidden details or Lore. So here it is, in Norse Mythology Loki the God of Mischief, was born and raised a Frost Giant or Jotun, but just because the raise is called Giant doesn't mean they are big, it just the name of their race that stuck after the first of their kind being larger then mountains. Loki became was a bit of an Outcast among his own kind, he and Thor grew close like brothers, then Odin shared his blood with Loki making him also part Asgardian essentially becoming part of the Pantheon even if he was the cause for many 'issues' down the line.

Odin is so powerful that once in a while, he needs to recharge. Odin goes into the “Odin Sleep” to recharge. It’s been a long time since Odin recharged himself, and the stress of telling Loki his true history pushed him into the Odin Sleep.
