In base varient I would like to pickup Samsung s23 because of better specs and my priority is normal usage and camera and freedom only pro models are more reliable than non pro on iphone.
i had 2 choices the iphone 13 (hardly available used with good battery health) and a samsung S23 barely used so i got the S23 and im very happy with it
Welcome to the samsung family, im not rich or something but i just bought an old flagship for the price of 75bucks the samsung note 20 ultra with defects like 2 lines on the screen, but this is the best investment i ever done
your are using the 128 gb variant of s23 which is slower and comes with ufs 3.1.. better use the 256gb variant of s23 which has ufs 4.0 and faster than nvme that comes with iphone... i bet it will demolish the iPhone 14 and 15 in app opening time ...

Honestly, smartphone for smartphone, the S23 is a better smartphone, PERIOD !!! On the other hand, just as it is impossible for me to use an iPhone and especially a Pixel as my main smartphone, I know that it is impossible for many people to use an Android smartphone as their main smartphone, here, the iPhone 14 becomes a pretty good deal (in the Apple 🍏 world) even if for me an iPhone 13 Pro is a better purchase .
