One of the best Crowbar songs on their best album. Great job guys. Definitely check out the album NOLA by Down as others have mentioned. It's easily one of the best heavy metal albums of all time.
This one caught me by surprise. I would have never guessed you'd guys would do a crowbar reaction. You guys never fail to keep me interested. Love the channel!
This. I just recently got into Crowbar. Like 2 weeks ago. New them forever but never was a fan of Kirks vocals. This exact album cought me. Just incredible vibe and distinction in this genre that can be very generic. So glad George and Ryan digged this!!!
@@sgtsqueaky I bet they are. If that chrushing Iow end chug comes through as on the record... I was lucky to see Down 2 times. Back during the Over the Under tour. Good times.
Kirk's vocals are a bit of an acquired taste, it's real bluesy rock sounding against the wall of slow doomy riffs. His cleans are awesome though, really wish he'd use them more often, the first couple of verses on Symmetry in White really showcase his cleans.
the slow head banging and the grimaced face like youre smelling sewage is what we louisiana metal dudes call the "crowbar face" because everyone makes the exact same face when hearing crowbar!

And they've only scratched the surface of some great music. I still have a list of about 20-30 bands I want them to react to that I think they would absolutely love, and I know others that feel the same with totally different bands.
I was front and centre when Kirk was singing this at a gig at Camden Underworld and he sang Planet's Collide looking into my eyes - it was like being serenaded by the apocalypse.
You guys have gotta get to Corrosion of Conformity....kind of a stoner metal mixed with sludge and southern rock grooves. Pepper Keenan the lead singer for COC is also in the band Down with a few of the Crowbar guys.
Kirk's side project with Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed (a band called Kingdom of Sorrow) used the description of an airplane filled with lead crashing into a barge filled with tar. Lol.
BLS for sure, beginning at last, superterrorizer, black pearl, love reign down, destruction overdrive, crazy horse, ain't life grand, beyond the down, damn the flood. Damn so many mad riffs
Sludge metal is the audio equivalent of trying to swim through molasses while carrying a refrigerator while wearing 100lb ankle weights. Crowbar is my all time favorite band.

Lost in Vegas is now introducing ME to new metal music and genres. I was "reacting" right along with you two gentlemen and I've got to tell you, I was right there with you, nodding my head. Off to search for more Crowbar! THANK YOU!
Their self-titled, which contains the track Existence is Punishment which I think is the one George was thinking of in the beginning, is a great record, produced by Phil Anselmo.
ProgHead777 “All I Had (I Gave)”, “Walk With Knowledge Wisely”, “Let Me Mourn”, “The Cemetery Angels”, “Time Heals Nothing”, “Symmetry In White”, “Surviving The Abyss”...those to start. 😊
7:45. That sound.., the groove of the guitar/bass/drum tandem...The heavy rhythm riff is sludge metal in it’s essence. It’s written by singer/guitarist Kirk Windstein. Since you guys thought Crowbar was fire, I would encourage Corrosion of Conformity “Albatross.” COC’s singer/guitarist, Pepper Keenan, is another pioneer of sludge metal. Both Keenan and Windstein were among the founding members for the genre subgroup: Down. Down also included Phil Anselmo of Pantera on vocals. Down mixed sludge/groove metal, with southern rock, and blues. For my money, Down’s “NOLA” was the best metal album of 1995. “Stone the Crow” would be banger for you guys. Playlist.
Great reaction. Crowbar is a great band from New Orleans. They are a chill and humble group of guys. Never miss a local show. As stated COC and Down are a must! These guys are all friends and play music together. You can’t go wrong with any of the three.
Unfortunately not, and have never got to see them live yet! Maybe exaggerated for down the road , 3 miles from my house, but still close for one of my fave albums ever.
YES! I know that as soon as one of these reaction channel puts out a Electric Wizard and/or Sleep video the Stoner scene will get a nice shine of light.
Sludge = Black Sabbath + Black Flag (B-side of My War) It takes the heavy doomy elements from Sabbath, slow dark, bluesy riffs, and injects them with steroids and downers. Super heavy, downtuned, and often slow. THen you also have to have a little punk influence - that's what distinguishes sludge from doom, some bands have more of it (Eyehategod, Melvins) others have less, but it's still there (Crowbar)
I would argue the main ingredient of sludge has a 'dragging' feel to it. Like pulling dead weight through mud. Similar to the Melvins who have a lot of drag to their sound.
There is something really emotional in two guys just listening to music and expressing their thoughts, in contrast to everybody just listening to their music alone nowdays. This reminds me the time when a friend, a smoke and a good song was all we needed. You are cool.
Sludge is exactly what you stated (slow and heavy) but technically speaking, a key ingredient is the occasional use of faster hardcore/punk inspired breaks, this is what separates sludge metal from doom metal. Great examples of this element are used by bands like Eyehategod and Buzzov•en. Great review, stoked to see there are still open minded heads out there.
I’m literally so in debt to you guys for showing me this damn band. This is my favorite song of all time now, and I discovered it from this video about a year ago. So so grateful for you guys.
You guys are heading in a great direction, now you gotta keep going! Please do some MELVINS! And please try Doom/Stoner metal: Trouble, Fu Manchu, Orange Goblin, and above all........ KYUSS. You need to hear "Gardenia/Asteroid/Supa Scoopa and Mighty Scoop", the first three tracks from the album Welcome To Sky Valley. The songs are grouped in suites and you need to listen to the whole 3 track suite together. It's about 17 minutes total but very heavy, trudging pace, and even funky & a touch psychedelic. And no growling!
Time to check out some Down...Bury me in Smoke or Stone the Crow...lots of similarities to this band since the lead singer/ guitarist of Crowbar is also in Down...Phil Anselemo from Pantera is lead Vocalist...maybe some Corrosion of Confirmity as well to round out the trifecta of southern metal elites
I'm seeing a lot of comments about Cult Of Luna and that makes me really happy, hopefully you guys will react to them soon! Ghost Trail or I: The Weapon would be some good songs to start with.
Yes it is. I just saw Crowbar live for the first time in April. It was unlike any metal show I have experienced before. Slow, deep, crushing, almost suffocating. It went beyond being audibly loud but instead to being physically loud. Your body could feel every single riff. I love their albums, but they don't capture the doom of the live shows
You guys should really listen to Kyuss - Gardenia. I used to recommend it a year back, and now it's a definite reco again! You'll love it. Oh, and Fear Factory - Self Bias Resistor, but that's a little different (from one of the most important albums of the 1990s)
You should try some sludge/post-metal. I strongely recommend you: - Isis - In Fiction - Rosetta - Départe/Deneb - Neurosis - Given to the Rising - Cult of Luna - Passing Through I wish you all the best, guys. Greetings from Brazil!
Cheers! Though I'm not sure I think Passing Through is the Cult of Luna song I'd suggest. Not very representative of their sound. I think they should go the Julie Christmas route. The Wreck of SS Needle or Chevron. Maybe I, The Weapon, or Echoes.
Oh please no, Julie Christmas really doesn't fit their sound (to remain polite), and Passing Through will make them sleep. They have so much greater and dynamic compositions. "Following Betulas", "I the Weapon", "Owlwood", "Ghost Trail", or more cinematic tunes from Somewhere Along the Highway as "Finland" or "Dim"
If you guys like this, you should try Down, with members of CoC, Crowbar, and Pantera. "Eyes of the South" is my favorite song, but "Stone the Crow" is probably the most popular one to react to. Cheers!
Wow. Definitely didn't expect to see a CROWBAR reaction. I love these guys. They played this tune the first time I saw them live. I've actually met the frontman and the drummer in a McDonald's before after a CROWBAR show haha. Really nice guys actually.
I'm a fellow 30 something hip hop head who just started listening to metal (partly because of you guys) I have found that I LOVE Doom/Sludge/Stoner metal. In particular I love High on Fire. The way you guys like Gojira is how I feel about High on Fire. Try Devilution from the album Blessed Black Wings.
YOU. MADE. MY. DAY. I have mentioned them and you deliver. Dig deeper into their catalog, while they always sound like Crowbar, the song writing is ever evolving.....
Another vote for Acid Bath. "Paegan Love Song" would probably be a great introduction. Also shows how they kinda straddle a few different metal styles.
You guys are badass! Never in my life I ever thought I’d see you do crowbar ! Wow you have entered into the real realm of metal ! Now do some Down ! Bury me in smoke !!!!!!!!
High on Fire -- Fury Whip!!! Also some SLEEP -- Dragonaut, Holy Mountain or perhaps Sonic Titan (actually almost definitely go with the new sonic titan recording)
If you like that kind of music you should try listening to Down - Stone the Crow, Acid Bath - Dead Girl, Eyehategod - Medicine Noose, High on Fire - Fury Whip. Corrosion of conformity isn't really sludge as much as stoner rock. But you could check out Clean my Wounds by them. The Sword - Freya a good one too. This is my favorite genre. So I have a huge love for this music
Ryan's enthusiasm is so infectious. Love it when he gets into a song, he can barely control himself. 🤣 He just feels it and let's go every time. Much love boys.
Crobar is excellent, but I would consider EYEHATEGOD to be the epitome of sludge metal personally. Stoner, Sludge, and Doom are all very related, with some subtle differences and a lot of crossover. Anyway, great vid guys. Never has my eternal rec Sleep - Holy Mountain been more appropriate.
The Lasting dose is the first song that I heard from Crowbar in the early 2000s. I starting crying from the depths of the awesomeness, I let out a huge FUCK YEAH and smashed my flip phone against the wall, and didn't realize what I had done until I calmed down and needed to call the weed man
Never clicked a video so fast! Crowbar is my favorite band by far. So glad you did a reaction video of them. Also, I agree with a lot of the comments here about checking out Down or Corrosion of Conformity. Electric Wizard is amazing as well.
If you like this song you should check out Down- Stone the crow. Kirk Wildstein the singer guitarist I think trying to remember of Crowbar is the Guitarist of Down and Pantera singer Phil Anselmo is the singer of Down and Pantera Bassist Rex Brown was the bassist. You need to check it out, I think you will really dig it. They got more songs than Stone the crow. But that is a great song to start with.
Down (NOLA) is: Phil (Pantera) - vocals Kirk (Crowbar) - guitar Todd (Crowbar) - bass Pepper (Corrosion of Conformity) - guitar Jimmy (Eyehategod) - drums Rex (Pantera) replaced Todd on bass for their second album
@@craven1927 I was telling them to listen to Stone the crow the song. Then just giving them some of the members that were in the band. Not off the NOLA album because Rex Brown did not come along until A bustle in your hedgegrove. But I am glad you did bring that up because I completely forgot about Pepper. Then everyone forgets about Todd because he bounced out until what couple years ago.
Yeah I was just throwing the information out there, a lot of people know Phil and Kirk were in the band but sometimes forget the rest. They really were a supergroup made up of members from several different successful bands
@@craven1927 Glad you did because I completely forgot Pepper myself and Todd. Because he kinda went M.i.a there for awhile. Until you said something it would not of clicked with me that Rex was not the first bassist. So kudos to you, because that was what I was trying to do. Let them know Kirk and Phil and Rex and all them was in the band. So you helped out big time with it. But I really think they would like Stone the crow and then they can start diving into other great songs by DOWN.
YESSSS! So stoked you did this and liked it! Love CROWBAR! And you said it "I wanna turn it up" , that's at the heart of this genre and part of the technique to aquire the tone is to push the guitar amps and speakers in turn playing back the recording you want a decent stereo system and play it loud! When you get a chance play this shit as loud as you can on a good system!
Down - Rehab or even Hail the Leaf would be great to check out, it's a supergroup that contains the singer/guitarist from Crowbar and Phil Anselmo from Pantera on vocals, it has really heavy riffs but with a mix of clean and harsher vocals, it's really southern and groovy and heavy as fuck. I would love for you to check them out.
So thrilled to see you guys giving this song a look as I just discovered fhis band literally this week. Been a big fan of what you do for awhile - stay cool.
Thank you guys for listening to this. NOLA sludgecore at its finest. I played a show with them and this song is even better live. Slave no more is another great one. As well as symmetry in white.
Guys, you should check out a band that was sludge metal but now it's like prog rock, Baroness! Especially Chlorine And Wine, it's and absolutely beautiful song!
Baroness is a great band. I saw them live in 2017 they were playing a very small gig, maybe to test the material with their new guitar player. Don't know fore sure but it was one of the best shows ever. John even made the time for talking and mixing with the crowd at the end, no need to do that but he did ! Also thumbs up for Crowbar. My suggestion for a review is Social Distortion : I was wrong.
So happy yall did Crowbar, didnt expect it! I think yall should try Inronaut, they're kind of post metal but they have a lot of ambient jazz passages. It would be sick if yall listened to Australopithecus!
This makes me so happy that you both enjoyed this one. And truth be told it made me dust off my Crowbar collection again. The true sign of good music is when you step away from it for a while (sometimes years) and it still resonates with you. So, thank you guys!!!!
They did 3 Tool songs, not a billion. You can't hear me, so typing ( shut up ) doesn't make any sense. If you had of typed ( They have done Tool 3 times. Now stop commenting ) you would still be a TooL.
I feel like Neurosis takes too long to fully understand...they probably wouldnt be too well received by them at first even though Neurosis is one of my favorite bands. Still took me a while to fully grasp the greatness
Now that you guys have some sludge under your belts, you gotta try out some atmospheric sludge/post-metal. Isis - So Did We Neurosis - The Doorway maybe? Not sure what the best intro for them would be
I know you are working through the metal tree but make sure you include King’s X as they may not be on it, but were/are genre defining. They bridged prog/hard rock of the late 80s into a transition pre-grunge, but their soul influences and groove are really unique. They were an influence on many musicians including Pearl Jam and Pantera. I suggest the songs Dogman or Over My Head
So many good ones. I would like to see Goldilox or Summerland. Over My Head of course. We Were Born To Be Loved... So many good ones... Prisoner comes to mind... I been harpin' on King's X to Ryan and George for a minute...
King's X is one of the greatest bands you've never heard. Can't really go wrong with any random pick from their whole career but i think Over my Head would be the best intro to them.
So glad you guys did Crowbar and enjoyed it. One of my favorite bands. They have tons more songs like this that are just great. Keep up the good reactions.
Yes!! Crowbar! That whole album is FIRE!! Awesome review. For your consideration: Satyricon (black metal) - "Now, Diabolical" , "K.I.N.G." , "Commando" , "The Ghost of Rome" , "Black Crow on a Tombstone" to name a few.
Crowbar is so unrated, seen them 3 times recently and they KILL IT live. Great pick for sludge metal, they've been at it 30 years next year. check out more of their albums.
Would love to see you guys react to some Post-Metal next. What post-metal basically is is Atmospheric Sludge Metal, combining sludge metal with post-rock. It’s got this amazing blend of the dirty, griminess of sludge metal, mixed with the beauty and atmosphere of post-rock. It’s beautiful, curious to see what you guys think of it. Would love to see a reaction of Purify by Neurosis the most. It’s one of my favourite songs of all time and probably the heaviest I’ve ever heard. Not in a brutally heavy way like death metal, but as in a genuine un-relenting CRUSHING heaviness. And the outro feels like a funeral for the entire world. Keep doing what you do guys because I love it, best reaction channel on RUclips 🙌🏻🤘🏻

I somehow never got into Crowbar....this song sounds great. Reminds me of Kyuss, who is an amazing band and is probably due for a reaction.
I'm seeing a lot of comments about Cult Of Luna and that makes me really happy, hopefully you guys will react to them soon! Ghost Trail or I: The Weapon would be some good songs to start with.
Who else is here from the Alice In Chains Down in a Hole reaction?
mee
dbtrek right here ✋🤘
I love that they shouted this song out
I had to come back and take a listen again
Where's this week reaction tho?
Guys vanished.
You've got the doom bob happening. Crowbar live is one of the heaviest things you will ever experience.
I could go a good Kyuss rection right now.
You should try some sludge/post-metal. I strongely recommend you:
- Isis - In Fiction
- Rosetta - Départe/Deneb
- Neurosis - Given to the Rising
- Cult of Luna - Passing Through
I wish you all the best, guys.
The Wreck of SS Needle would be awesome!
@@Crusader982 Julia Christmas ftw, my favorite it ss needle but anything from Cult of Luna would be great
Oh please no, Julie Christmas really doesn't fit their sound (to remain polite), and Passing Through will make them sleep. They have so much greater and dynamic compositions. "Following Betulas", "I the Weapon", "Owlwood", "Ghost Trail", or more cinematic tunes from Somewhere Along the Highway as "Finland" or "Dim"
Given To The Rising 100%
If you guys like this, you should try Down, with members of CoC, Crowbar, and Pantera. "Eyes of the South" is my favorite song, but "Stone the Crow" is probably the most popular one to react to. Cheers!
Wrote this before looking at the comments. As usual, I'm a bit behind!
In the immortal words of Beavis and Butthead: "This music is slow and fat!"
"This guy said he gave his heart and soul to this chick! That must be 50lbs of meat!"
Yes!!! Praise him! Praise thy name of thine holy lord and saviour beavis christ! Bless you brother chesty mcundrpants.
Down, bury me in smoke you should love it you are welcome in advance 🤘🤘🤘
Crowbar - all I had. Is the song that turned me on to this band.
God, I love sludge metal and Crowbar is an amazing band.
For more sludge, try Bury Me in Smoke by DOWN :)
YOU. MADE. MY. DAY. I have mentioned them and you deliver. Dig deeper into their catalog, while they always sound like Crowbar, the song writing is ever evolving.....
ok, now react to Acid Bath
amazing and underrated band!!!!
Good call
Acid Bath was the best Dax Rex goddamn he rocks
Another vote for Acid Bath. "Paegan Love Song" would probably be a great introduction. Also shows how they kinda straddle a few different metal styles.
Hell yeah! Specifically “Bleed Me an Ocean”
So many great songs to choose from but i'd go with Turk if you're gonna do that album
Rumors of War. Hit em in the mouth and get out
Oh hey Cthulhu. Figured you for more of a Cyclopean Scape fan. Turk's great. Just always preferred Fury Whip.
And yeah, Rumors of War is a great option... but only if I know they'd get to longer stuff later.
Baghdad
If you like that kind of music you should try listening to Down - Stone the Crow, Acid Bath - Dead Girl, Eyehategod - Medicine Noose, High on Fire - Fury Whip. Corrosion of conformity isn't really sludge as much as stoner rock. But you could check out Clean my Wounds by them. The Sword - Freya a good one too. This is my favorite genre. So I have a huge love for this music
The Sword crushes!!!
Ryan's enthusiasm is so infectious. Love it when he gets into a song, he can barely control himself. 🤣 He just feels it and let's go every time. Much love boys.
Kirk Windstein is a god among men, Crowbar are the illest!! Check out a track called To Touch The Hand Of God.. Emotional!!!
KYUSS - 50 million years trip
(Best groovy sludge/stoner band right here)
Rico 497 Whitewater.... Kyuss at its finest
Yes!! This one.
YES
This has quickly become my favorite youtube channel. I listen to Metal and Hip Hop so you guys are right in my wheelhouse. Keep up the great content!
The Lasting dose is the first song that I heard from Crowbar in the early 2000s. I starting crying from the depths of the awesomeness, I let out a huge FUCK YEAH and smashed my flip phone against the wall, and didn't realize what I had done until I calmed down and needed to call the weed man
We've all been there
Never clicked a video so fast!
Down (NOLA) is:
Phil (Pantera) - vocals
Kirk (Crowbar) - guitar
Todd (Crowbar) - bass
Pepper (Corrosion of Conformity) - guitar
Jimmy (Eyehategod) - drums
Rex (Pantera) replaced Todd on bass for their second album
If you bring Phil up they won't listen to it... It's a shame really cos Pantera and Down are one of the greats...
Rory Roach Awww, but sounds even better on a shitty stereo!!
Can we please get Doom Metal!? Like Pentagram or Electric Wizard!!! 🤘🤘
🍃Thank you!!!..☆Stephopal from New Orleans Louisiana 💚🖤💚
Love this song! Been listening to this since it came out. Thanks for doing it
Would? - Alice in Chains
If you liked that, roll up a fat one and do:
down - burry me in smoke.
Caught me off guard! Great song. Try DOWN- Stone the crow
I would love for you to check them out.
jiantjingerjohn I don't get it...
How could they not have done down by now???
@@jeffeckberg4099 Now they never will
@@jeffeckberg4099 They won't do anything with Phil on it anymore after someone told them Phil is a "white supremacist"...
So thrilled to see you guys giving this song a look as I just discovered fhis band literally this week. Been a big fan of what you do for awhile - stay cool.
YES! finally, some Crowbar!!! Yall hit sludge's nail right on the head. Crowbar is one of my fav bands.
Great reaction as usual .
Clutch..10001110101 or electric worry next or
Down ... stone the crow
C.o.c. ... clean my wounds !
Go with Passive Restraints by Clutch!
@@jimz6850 i was trying to start them out easy !
Yes, would love to hear a reaction to Electric Worry.
Been calling for Clutch for ages, I'd love to hear them do Careful With That Mic due to the rap on it
Yes please!!
Thank you guys for listening to this. NOLA sludgecore at its finest. I played a show with them and this song is even better live. Slave no more is another great one. As well as symmetry in white.
@Damian Kraushaar ashes of Eden at the center stage in lake Charles Louisiana
Guys, you should check out a band that was sludge metal but now it's like prog rock, Baroness! Especially Chlorine And Wine, it's and absolutely beautiful song!
Baroness is a great band. I saw them live in 2017 they were playing a very small gig, maybe to test the material with their new guitar player. Don't know fore sure but it was one of the best shows ever. John even made the time for talking and mixing with the crowd at the end, no need to do that but he did !
Also thumbs up for Crowbar. My suggestion for a review is Social Distortion : I was wrong.
I don't particularly care for Sludge, but I do like me some Baroness!
Crowbar does a cover of Dreamweaver.
Yes THAT Dreamweaver.
You should check it out.
Also remember tomorrow by iron maiden
Love this tune. You guys are in deep in the metal game now!!
Melvins is my favorite sludge metal band. Check out the song Honey Bucket
super0mini0man Fast or slow, Melvins fucking demolish. Honey Bucket definitely shows this
Honey Bucket or History of Bad Men
So happy yall did Crowbar, didnt expect it! I think yall should try Inronaut, they're kind of post metal but they have a lot of ambient jazz passages. It would be sick if yall listened to Australopithecus!
YES! Alright, from here either Kyuss - Whitewater, Gardenia, or One Inch Man or Crowbar - To Build a Mountain
Whitewater definitely
This makes me so happy that you both enjoyed this one. And truth be told it made me dust off my Crowbar collection again. The true sign of good music is when you step away from it for a while (sometimes years) and it still resonates with you. So, thank you guys!!!!
Added to the playlist! Thanks for putting this out there!
Please do TooL - The Grudge
Would really like to see you guys dig into the lyrics on that one, and the instrumental is incredible.
DeanKnight333 Saturn Ascends
They have done tool a billion times. Now shut up
They did 3 Tool songs, not a billion. You can't hear me, so typing ( shut up ) doesn't make any sense. If you had of typed ( They have done Tool 3 times. Now stop commenting ) you would still be a TooL.
Doom Head Tool - The Grudge
@@doomhead1619 You must have zero friends.
Make a poll for Neurosis, guys, this is should next sludge-stop.
I feel like Neurosis takes too long to fully understand...they probably wouldnt be too well received by them at first even though Neurosis is one of my favorite bands. Still took me a while to fully grasp the greatness
CeaselessDischarge they’d probably be a challenge for them but maybe The Doorway or To Crawl Under One’s Skin would be good starters.
Neurosis doesn’t have simple bangers to nod your head too like this. I think they’d hate them.
They need to watch that video of "Locust Star" live from Ozzfest... heaviest shit I've ever seen
Listen to Eyehategod if you want more Sludge Metal! They're incredible!
Specifically the song Southern Discomfort.
Excellent...I'd missed this. I'm so glad to find it!
Crowbar just doesn't get the recognition they deserve.
And now you like this you NEED Down, something like Stone the Crow, Bury Me In Smoke or Beneath the tide!
Ghosts along the Mississippi for sure!
Never could get into Stone the Crow, and I LOVED NOLA. Conjurer is a great song as well.
Now that you guys have some sludge under your belts, you gotta try out some atmospheric sludge/post-metal.
Isis - So Did We
Neurosis - The Doorway maybe? Not sure what the best intro for them would be
Preston Jarrett woah~ could you imagine them reacting to ISIS? Anything from Oceanic or Panopticon would be awesome though.
For real. Cult of Luna or Rosetta too. Bring it
I'm sinking like a stone in the seeeeeeaaaa.....
I agree, if my screen name is any indication lol.
For Neurosis, I'd go with The Tide. Displays everything the band is about.
I'd go with Isis - Celestial.
Yes, this! Ryan and George, this.
I love kings x...I think a great song to let them hear and a good example of there talents are "black the sky" and "shoes"
So many good ones. I would like to see Goldilox or Summerland. Over My Head of course. We Were Born To Be Loved... So many good ones... Prisoner comes to mind... I been harpin' on King's X to Ryan and George for a minute...
KXM (dUg Pinnick-Kings X, George Lynch-Dokken & Ray Luzier-Korn)
ruclips.net/video/cD40-CJljas/видео.html
King's X is one of the greatest bands you've never heard. Can't really go wrong with any random pick from their whole career but i think Over my Head would be the best intro to them.
Happy with your reactions. I love this band, so much groove
Hell yeah....I love your channel and Crowbar....surprised and pleased to see this
Hadn't listened to them in a long time. Killer track!
Kyuss - Whitewater! :D
Kirk Windstein has an incredible guitar tone coupled with very unorthodox tuning. So heavy, so unique.
You guys should review Portishead Glory Box
So glad you guys did Crowbar and enjoyed it. One of my favorite bands. They have tons more songs like this that are just great. Keep up the good reactions.
Yes!! Crowbar! That whole album is FIRE!! Awesome review.
For your consideration: Satyricon (black metal) - "Now, Diabolical" , "K.I.N.G." , "Commando" , "The Ghost of Rome" , "Black Crow on a Tombstone" to name a few.
I have a vaguely similar sounding suggestion: Kyuss - Gardenia
I'm new to Kyuss, so any true Kyuss fans give your 2 cents
Crowbar is so unrated, seen them 3 times recently and they KILL IT live. Great pick for sludge metal, they've been at it 30 years next year. check out more of their albums.
It's cool being up front and watching them set up their own equipment, do a sound check and get right into it. These guys work hard.
Now you should finally get to some Clutch.
agree, I would love to see them react to some stuff from blast tyrant
Yes yes yes!
Escape from the prison planet!!!!!
There's just so much to choose from.
Glad you guys liked this one! Crowbar is definitely a favorite of mine.
one of my all time favorites... glad you loved it!
