I remember buying Bloody Kisses back in the 90's. I didn't know anything about Type O. But the store made a mistake and put the Grip Inc - Nemesis cd in the Bloody Kisses case. I listened to Nemesis for three days, thinking it was Bloody Kisses haha. I remember telling people that I thought the opening track was awesome haha.
This is a favorite album. Definitely in my top ten

From what I've seen online this song caused a lot of problems for Type O Negative when touring Europe. Antifa protested them labelling them as antisemite and I think they had gigs in The Netherlands cancelled because of it.

As a Carnivore fan and a history nut, I'm pleased to see some intelligent chat going on in the video about the wider church in general laying the groundwork for the Nazis in Europe. David I. Kertzer's book 'Unholy War' covers a lot of history of what happened to the Jews in the Papal States, wrongly justified through the theology that came from the Papal throne. Peter Steele was raised and eventually died a Catholic so I always regarded the song as drawing the parallels between the Catholic Church's war on Judaism and the Nazis' war on Judaism

Peter Steele is awesome, and I've never heard Carnivore before now, but I vastly prefer Type O Negative to this. Easy to see why Type O continued on while this fell to the wayside. I don't know, maybe it grows on you with repeat listens or something.
Also, how did they not realize right away that that is Peter Steele on vocals? I know they are not really big on him, but his voice is pretty unique.
Degainta the first type o negative album was also a bunch of leftover tracks intended for a third carnivore record.
@@ThatOddLife Yeah, I know. That's why it's so different from all of their other albums. I didn't really care much for that album either. The songs switch from slow and droning to fast and furious too often for my tastes. I'm glad that the songs on later albums had more consistency. I can recognize that it was a transitional period for them though.

In USA I would be called a leftwing but on Cuba I would be called rightwing. The truth is, that if the global political spectrum were a road, then I would be that sinus-curve, snaking its way down the middle of the road. Some times I would lean to right, some times to the left. And that is on a global scale. I am what one would call a social-capitalist or capital-socialist. Or simply just a rightwing socialist or leftwing capitalist. All depending on what subject we are talking about.
