Thanks a hundred times over -- I was killing myself trying to pry the damn things out until I saw your video -- easy as pie -- you saved me hours. Thanks so much for a very easy and simple method that works perfectly.
Uh, wow! Thanks to your video, I just removed a vertical blind headrail which had been installed in an opposite direction and had been bugging me for 3 years. I had no idea how easy this was, and while I was at it, I cleaned off the top which looked like it had 30 years worth of dust. I turned the headrail in the correct direction and now I feel like a handyman!
Thanks for this simple, plain English explanation of how to remove these horrible window dressings! A pox on vertical blinds! I hate them with a passion and strongly believe they should only ever be used in commercial offices. They are ugly, easily damaged/broken and impractical. I'm in the process of replacing all these 'instruments invented by a home hater' in my new apartment and replacing them with roller blinds, timber venetians or good old fashioned curtains.
Thank you, I never would have worked this out without you, and probably would have resorted to a hacksaw to get the things down. Removed the actual blinds years ago, but needed to access behind the headrail today so they had to come down.
I was told to "slide" the clip out and was wondering why it wouldn't budge! Thank you so much for explaining it properly. Twisting it from behind was still difficult but I finally removed the three clips holding it in place so I could paint the surface ready for the new roller blind to be installed tomorrow. Thanks again.
thanks a lot...I am the exact opposite of a handyman I was struggling to remove these blinds and my wife was driving me crazy....this video saved the day
I couldn't access the back of the ceiling clip, but with a flat headed screwdriver, I was able to trist the front of the clip enough to release the track.
Thanks for the question DMAN - It's basically a reverse of how to removal them, but if you have any problems or need more details, you can contact the team at Victory on 13 13 99 - Quinten or Jairo are the experts in the area - ask for them.
Well done, short and to the point, with clear demonstration. Thank you.

now just gotta figure out how to replace a broken plastic clip
Thank you, my dad and I have put off restringing my blinds for 15years😂 We finally decided to fix it!
I have blinds from the 1990s! There's a clip, those clips are made of steel and I can't get them to release!
The words/graphics covered the instructor. You couldn't view what was being done.
This is a short video, why you do not show how put again?????
I cannot open the clip and twist out blade.. other vids used a thin flat plastic purpose made tool or a credit card.
+thetaijicentre slide it up the hook side of clip then pull down with the vertical blind 'vane'
Who else paused this video to see who was at the door?
like it
thanks but how do i put them back in
