Dear Gaijin, I do not really have a strange story to tell but I have to thank you for your EPIC game. There have been almost 5 years since I started playing War Thunder and I must admit that War Thunder filled the boring time gaps in holidays and it was a means of relaxation during the stressful exam period. Your game is something unique. One time you go to battle and get 5-7 kills and some other times you get snipped from the other side of the map. War Thunder is only game that I really feel strong emotions while playing. The pumping of my heart while trying to flank the enemy team or the rage when I get killed by miscalculations are just sensational and unforgettable. Thank you Gaijin!!! Just PLEASE....do something for spawncamping.

Hey Gaijin ! As long planes having WEP, being able to overheat, damaging the engine, is it possible to see "soon" same feature for tanks ?? Misuses of gearbox like stressing it by constant "peek-a-booing", climbing really steep terrain, radiator damaged by fire, artillery and shots and so on... It will bring the notion of reliability ! Pretty interesting for WW mode, maybe RB, but SB for sure ! Every nation had typical flaws about reliability, russians were known to have poor gearboxes, german had underpowered engines for their beasts, americans were known for reliable but "self-ignite" engines, britishs for their poor gearboxes and underpowered engines like japanese... Reliability for tanks would make the capability of crew "ground service" more relevant and could introduce a new form of balance ! Make "engine overheat" and "gearbox overheat" a thing in War Thunder ! Gaijin, please ! "Old Guard Never Surrender"
Alright strangers of the internet and worker at Gaijin, here is my "crazy" story. Once upon a mixed jet match me and my team had one plane left to kill. The plane turned out to be a B-57 and to win the match all he had to do was bomb our airfield. The B-57 outran us all and destroyed the airfield. Then as our teams tickets slowly drained, the B-57 pilot in victory decided to barrel roll into the ground. But at the time, we had way more tickets than his team did. So on the screen popped the message: Hostile Team Has Lost All Vehicles. So the enemy teams tickets then began to drain and they in turn lost the match simply because the B-57 decided to commit suicide.
One time during the chronicles event I was in a tank and I needed one more 1st place finish on my team and I was in second by some 100 points so with the game ending and the enemy bleeding tickets fast, I couldn't find the last enemy I needed to kill to try and get in first. Then I saw it, It was a Ju-87B, so with the game nearly over I took aim with my ZiS-30 and put my faith in Stalin and fired. First shot went straight into the stuka's left wing as he fell to the ground I could hear the german pilot scream at the top of his lungs "YOU"VE GOT A HOLE IN YOUR LEFT WING" Congrats on 1 year of the shooting range guys.
Hey Gajin! I just recently played a night battle with my Panther. My question is: Will you add functional nightvision? The Panther 2 already has that, but we can't use it.
Apollo1641 yeah this. I can't stand that it's actually on the tank when we can't use it. It's to big for not being used. Just an advantage for the enemy.
takker The lights would give your position away. But the Infrared searchlights on the Panther is only visible to other infrared operators. Lights would certainly look cool though. But maybe we could have a system similar to artillery strike, but instead of explosives, they shoot illumination rounds (flares).
Your friendly neighbourhood Nazi People aren't going to fly at 5km with bombers in Ground RB. Most of the planes you will try to shoot down will be too fast, too low and it's gonna change it's distance from you everytime.
It just feels kind of wrong to have flak trucks that were meant to shoot down aircraft in real life and not give them flak shells. It would be a fun and unique edition. I mean, AAA on the airfields have them, why can't the flak trucks?
I had an incredible match, among with my friends ( who were left in the battle), the map was advance to Rhine( conquest). So the enemy had around 13000 tickets left, while we were left with only 300 tickets, when i with my friend made a rush towards the cap point, ( after flanking through the entire map and stopping the enemy column). We sucessfully capped the point, held it for very long time, but still lost the match. We turned the tides of the battle at last moment, but just when we we thought we won the battle, out of nowhere came an enemy marder, destroying one of our tank. We were so close........ but no regrets. That was an epic battle.
My crazy story: mine is quite a bit old, it was when i first joined up war thunder "25th of April 2013". it was in july of 2013 when i first unlocked the La-5 and back then there was only one la-5 and it was the La-5FN i queued up to battle and got into Korsun "Bear in mind this is way before BR system" when i took off and climbed to 3000m i saw that i was the lowest player and had 4 Bf-109G2's higher than me, long story short we all fought on the deck and that is where my Lavochkin fights best, i panicked and jammed one my guns and only had 20 shots left, i killed 2 109's and the third head to their base, i followed pace and he kept ongoing and i saw him going to land his plane; and for the gentlemen rules, i don't attack anyone who's on ground, so i got the throttle to 100% and went on when he was approaching to land and i lowered my landing gear and rammed him with my gears and back then he got "Soft Landing" and i sat there looking at the ticket marker to get to 0. Man i couldn't believe my eyes...
Till today I remember how on old Karelia map, I held on the spawn area two enemy Tigers H1 and T-34-85s(two too), with my alone M4A3E2 Jumbo. They were unable to damage me heavily, only track broken, or Gun barrel lightly damaged. Finally after a five minutes(and scoring over 2000 points on shooting and bouncing enemy shells), enemy Tiger H1 finally knocked my crew out(or blown up my ammo racks, not sure now, as that was two years ago) with lucky hit into turret over a gun mantlet. But still I think that was the most badass moment for me on Jumbo tank xD
GDAY gaijin will we have any infrared techn.. actually better question: why can't we see a hit cam for the plane with 102mm gun, let me guess you don't want us to know what kind of ammo the Italians use huh?
Personally I think it shouldn't be implemented. They added smoke to give people mobile cover, to add an ability for some select vehicles to see through the smoke would just ruin the whole idea of having it in the first place.
So Gaijin you want to know my most memorable part of the game over this last 3 years?? well i would have to say it would be my very first Rocket kill from air to ground in SIMULATOR!!! It was SO satisfying. Taking the time to get use to the controls really paid off! Thanks for everything :)
So one Normandy game a few major updates ago, me and my mate were flying Americans, I was in the B-17E/L and he was in a spitfire, he went down fighting and I undertook my mission in bombing the target. The game was coming to an end and there was just me verses three enemy German fighters, now as some of you know the American bombers didn't have the best survivability because of the .50 Cals [until last update, thanks gaijin :) ], so being the B-17 pilot I was I didn't beck down from the fight, positioned my plane and opened fire, in two seconds the first fighter goes down with ease, the second damages my wings and knocks out engine 4 with the engine catching fire, I turned engines off and proceeded to dive to put the fire out and I came out successful with the fire going out in fives seconds. The third fighter finished off what fighter two had started and I began to go down but due to the stableness of my plunge to earth I opened fire on the last fighter for revenge, he burst into flames and died. It was now a race to who's tickets would go down to zero first, due to the allied team taking out the bases we had the advantage and the enemy tickets ran out first. Remember B-17 pilots, you have great survivability and a deadly armament, use it well and don't back down from a fight
When will the model textures, pilot model textures, and ai tank textures be update to a better more detailed version? Because right now they don't look very good.
My craziest thing in War Thunder is actually in Tank RB, me and a relative were playing British Valentines in Abandoned Factory, we had gone south into the train depot areas and encountered a couple of tanks, we took them out but then he had to go AFK for a few minutes. So he parked his tank stationary in a bush by one of the depots, while I was promising to do my best to protect him. But sadly, after a few tanks had come along at once they managed to take me out. What really confused me though, is how a total of four tanks rolled straight past the rather obvious Valentine tank still alive in the bush. One even turned his turret directly toward him, and when met with literally no reaction from the Valentine, he continued on his way. He survived the whole battle and did not return until just before the game ended.
I'm calmed. I'm just saying that markers and RB didn't go well, Anton asked for them again and 99.99999999% of the people said no. So if we take in consideration that markers + RB=no skill+angerycommunity we get the result of hell nah don't do it again.
The craziest thing that ever happen to me is when me and some friends played our king tiger with a jagdtiger and literally got back to back in tank realistic battles on jungle and fought off the entire enemy team by ourselves it was literally the best battle I have ever had been able to be apart of

You see Ivan. Company name was easy job, In early day of beta war thunder 1 user was named Gay Jim. But on a day when the main C.E.O of Gaijin was playing War thunder while calling he got shot by Gay Jim during his gameplay. In anger he screamed; OY KURWA GAI JIN! because they are russian they could not prenounce Gay Jim. So the other guy on the phone wrote Gaijin down. True story ask Santa.
JT Rec a commonly accepted theory for their name is because Gaijin means "foreigner" in some language (usually cited as Japanese) so it just sounded cool for a game developer firm to be named that. Don't take my words at face value though, it's probably dead wrong xD

Would you allow multiple people to control the same aircraft, i.e piloting a bomber, a friend playing as bombardier and one another playing as the gunner, a LAN party controlling a b-17.....Imagine the possibilities
1-bombers are players, 2-it would be similar to realistic/sim in the sense that you would need to alway be ready and aware for combat. And 3-they could keep the bomber limit
Bailey Farmer 1- I know bombers are players (WTF, with this one, everyone knows there it is not AI ),2-you are always ready and aware for combat when you are a bomber pilot and 3-I won't to a reduce bombers and if gaijin wanted a limit then they would only allow a certain number of bombers in a match
KV-1, almost invulnerable to any tipe of enemy, BUT the Italian had specifically develop a tank (the M.41) for going through it's armor, soo anyone that still think that the Italian tank are crap and that they need not to be added, well you are wrong. But I think the tier 2 will be only crap tank...
shooting range|episode 50, office tour? classified info debrief? im exited for what you have planned. i have been playing your beautiful game since summer 2014. i found it off of youtube and had already played your previous game: Birds Of Steel. when i first saw the amount of vehicles and the ability to utilize ground forces was a major selling point for me. lets just say it was love at first sight. since 2014 ( patch 1.39) i am thankful to have witnessed and been a part of the growth and development of a great game i love. thank you gaijin for all you have done since the release of Birds Of Steel and one quick question... was WarThunder based in part on Birds Of Steel? playing it back, i see many similarities. thanks for everything Gaijin and keep doing your job! ;)
Gaijin, I think you are killing World War Mode with your choice of game mode. Arcade players will not like the slower tanks and rippable wings, and Realistic players will despise the markers. I hope that some input will allow you to reconsider your choice.
jeah, i was hyped when i heard the word world war and rb, and as soon as i heard the word maerkers by face went from super happy to someone actually spit in my morning coffee
actunpt It could be bullet drop prediction, but it is most likely nametags for enemies, showing you exactly where they are and ruining any sort of flanking or hiding. It makes all light tanks obsolete, and overall will completely ruin the mode.
thats why you are playing rb, for skills, for the ability to spot someone on 2-3 kilometers just by seeing that few pixels moving. also, it is not really that difficult to find and snipe people from a distance, i allready short some german tanks hiding at the edge of a forrest on a snow map with snow camoflage over a distance of 3,3km, it all comes down to skill, and i suppose thats what you want in a competive game mode
Was flying my B-17E, had been strafed all the way to and from target. A couple miles out from the airfield I realized that everything but my flaps, engines, and ailerons were black. I had pretty much no control, but I still managed to land at our airfield, though I was musding both my landing gear and part of my wing after my 'landing'.
My story is when I was in a KV-1 I-LL and I was capping C then out of no where 5 tanks came at me from all around, but the thing is they couldn't even pierce my rear armor! Eventually I got killed by a bomb from a plane so that's my story. And I want you to confirm 2 things Russian Bias is real and early Russian AA were milk/vodka trucks.
Technically the MC 205 wasn't the best Italian aircraft of WWII, it was just the most produced series V built because it started earlier. From tests carried out by Germans the best overall was the G.55, hence why they considered dropping the Bf 109s in favour of adopting the Fiat
the whirlwind is actually planned, it was in one of the future tech tree plans they showed years ago. Most of the planes on the plans are in the game now only a few are left.
My ''crazy'' story. One time I wanted to play War Thunder, but not battles against other players, so I played a snigle player mission (to be specific, the 'Flying Boat' mission). I spawned in the Catalina and remembered how SLOW it was, so I keps holding 'W' to fly faster. When it was time for me to land I was going too fast. I touched the water, but because I was going too fast it was NOT gentle. I broke my wings and I was spinning at every direction. Fortunately, there was a pier right next to me. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW DID I MANAGED TO DO IT, but I crashed in an up-right position on it, and the body of my plane was STILL INTACT. I ended up PASSING that mission.
Since pc can only download skins maps vehicles and ect. and playstation can't, why can't playstation have a in game menu to do such thing? I would like to make my own skin in game.
Giajin, can you do an entire series where you just talk about the history of the nation's planes and tanks along with their designers and their obstacles, like what you've been doing in The Shooting Range, but instead make it a series on its own where you go more in depth and tell us the whole story? p.s. love what you're doing to the game and keep being awesome.
So I've been playing War Thunder for about 2,5 years now and I've got my dad to play warthunder, he currently enjoys grinding the German tree and has unlocked his first Fw-190. And I found my 50 year old uncle plays war thunder and has even unlocked all German tanks. And I found out that a old friend of my dad who is a Corporal in the Dutch army who actually has commanded a Leopard Flakpanzer in real life also play warthunder. I have a warthunder family.
I think my best War Thunder experience was when I captured a airfield and as I was starting to take off three bombs land right next to me and exploded but left me undamaged
no since all jets are tier 5 and since they will never ever ever add tier 5 premuims there will never be premuim jets (for example the e-100 profesional tank is a tier 5 tank but it will be a normal tank not a premuim)
The funniest thing ever happened to me when playing War Thunder would be when me and my friends are capturing base but then suddenly our friendly aircraft accidentally dropped a bomb on us and get all of us blown up
Best moment in War Thunder? One time I was flying my Bf109E1 in air RB, and I was trying to kill a F2A. During a very low altitude manuever, I saw a friendly Bf109E1 approaching from 3 o' clock high. I thought it was going to be a close encounter, but it was too close. The poor guy in the other 109 got killed immediately, while I lost 1/3 of my left wing. _"Well"_ I thought, _"This is the end of me."_ . And then, a revolutionary idea came into my mind: Extend the flaps! The 400 km/h airspeed coupled with the extra lift I was getting from the landing flaps made sure I would make it back to base. As I was approaching the airbase, I spotted a blip on my radar: A F3F! It came as close as 650 meters, and I was a sitting duck. I don't know who was flying that biplane, but I'm incredibly thankful that he showed some courtesy and didn't fire. I would have been the easiest frag ever, yet he chose not seize this oppurtunity. I made it back to base, and successfully landed. Thanks, random pilot!
My Crazy Story: Okay this occurred a long time ago, at least a year and a half or so, but I was in my Panzer IV C. The map was Poland, and I casually made my way towards the town. I randomly shot over the town then glanced at the clock in my room, I looked back and I saw that I had landed a critical hit on an M2A4, I was rather surprised and amused.
my most memorable experience was when I was in my wyvern at sea level chasing a do 335 b2 and a spitfire came to help but shot off my wing on axedent but I fired my rockets and hit the do 335 with one
my most craziest story was when drove to the enemy teams spawn point and there was a Zis-30 there and I shot him and got its commander, later that same match I'm still camping and I see the same exact Zis down the road fighting one of my teammates and I then killed him from behind. Even later I was playing my LVT in that match and killed a T-34 1941 point blank, right in his frontal slope right after turning a corner!
He tried in vain to get the new meatball engine for his spaghetti airplane, but to no avail. But he still worked hard on improving the sauce cooling system and the cheese guns for a better dish for when he got the meatball engine.
Could we maybe have a "Pitch dark" time of day setting where the surroundings are even darker when thab on the night setting-this would allow for in game torches and lights on tanks and planes
my craziest moment in the game, was when i killed a P-80 in a jet match with a Bf 109 F-1, it was difficult getting him but i did it in the end, thanks wolfypack for up tiering me :P
Crazy story : So i was with a friend casualy flying the Stucka with the twin 37mm,i don't remember how but i manage ( with some help or not ) to crash the plane a certain way so one of those 37mm canon was facing the the pass of some shermans, destroying them one after the other from the ground ! Litle question : Is there someone in the team who, as me, really want to see some French vehicles in warthunder ? I can't wait any longer ! x)
I once did an Epic Arcade stand behind a hill, in a PanzerIVH together with random squadmate in a T34. The match was closing to an end with us defending the chokepoint making 5 and 4 kills. so 3 dudes behind the hill said: "now or never" an charged out on the road next to the hill. We (mostly I to be honest) kinda screwed up our counter attack. The T34 took out one medium and damaged another heavy tank before biting the dust. I charged behind him driving around the heavy tank - miraculously surviving fire from both to take out the heavy tank. However the light tank was behind me and I had only Driver and Gunner left, when my egine caught fire with be beiing out of extiguishers. My engine was dead , I couldn´t move his tracks though were ripped, his amour mere spoof. So there we sat. Him praying my tank to finaly burn out. Me praying for one last reload as my gunner turned yellow, orange, red , darkred -" GESCHÜTZ GELADEN!" / FIRE! / FRONTAL PENETRATION / CREW TAKEN OUT I imediatly pressed the button to abandon tank - I it reachd 2 when my gunner died (heroicly) ps. sorry for random poem in the middle - couldn´t resist :-)
About that crazy unbelievable moment in the game, once I was flying my spitfire mIIb nothing and it was a sunny day. Can't remember the map though but I remember we were facing the Japanese and casually I start my attack run on an enemy fighter (can't remember what it was, yeah I'm a noob)after I got a few hits but no serious damage on him/her I was pulling off when a teammate shot me by accident and he took out my engine (who needs it anyway) so I start hurling back to base. I wasn't that close to the ground but not that high up either and my engine held up pretty good until I was like halfway there (been having finals for two weeks, can't remember exactly everything)and then it just stoped so I glided for a bite before I knew I was going down so I deployed my gear and just said goodbye but then I saw the airfield on the map and it was close and I was going like above 200 km/h and then the miracle happened I stoped right at the airfield and started repairing
TL;DR: Capped the point nearest the enemy spawn in an M18 at the very start of a match on Advance to the Rhine, Domination, before they ever got there. Craziest match I ever had was this. Advance to the Rhine, Domination (the 3 cap-point mode), Tank Arcade Battles. Our team spawned in the south. Now, I'd recently spaded my M18 Hellcat, and was loving its speed, so I selected to spawn in the south-east point, thinking I'd zoom over to the nearby point and cap it as early as possible. When I spawned, I found myself facing in the perfect direction, and as close to the cap point as I could possibly have spawned. Reaching the point within seconds, I had a crazy thought: what if I zoom right past the point on _our_ side of the map, and go harass the enemy tanks capping the equivalent point on _their_ side of the map (in the north-east)? So I did just that, but instead of finding a few enemy tanks in their point, I found a point entirely devoid of enemies. Zooming inside, I began to cap "their" point. After a few seconds, I saw an enemy tank slowly lumbering its way into the road leading to the point, so I shot him. I think I completely startled him. He stopped driving towards the point and instead turned into the demolished buildings for cover. By then I had fully capped "their" cap point, and a few of our faster tanks had followed me to the area and were laying down covering fire. The enemy team was so confused about what had happened that they just lost all coordination-and the match-within minutes. Gaijin, if you can replay ancient matches on old builds of WT internally or something, this happened on Jan 11, 2016, at around (just before, probably) 2:15am GMT+2 (I know this because I have a (sadly) completely corrupted video of the match on my computer). My in-game user is Sandwiched.
So, the craziest moment I've ever had in warthunder? Well, I was once flying my Wellington over the Pacific Ocean and I had a load of 2 torpedos. I had finished my descent and was now headed towards the enemies carriers. As I was going in to drop my torpedos a zero got onto my tail. I was unable to fend him off and his 20mm cannons tore the rear section of my plane off from about the wings back. At this moment I had not yet dropped my torpedos. So, as my plane was doing front flips I waited till it was perpendicular with the enemies carriers and I let loose both of my torpedos before crashing into the ocean. I was spectating on of my team mates when I then saw one of the enemies carriers blow up and after I checked the stats it turns out that my torpedos hit one of the enemies carriers and sunk it xD
There should be gamemode where more than 1 player control a tank/plane Example: tank: 4 player -gunner -reloader -commander -driver Each player can replace wounded crew Every player has only 2 lives

takker The lights would give your position away. But the Infrared searchlights on the Panther is only visible to other infrared operators.
Lights would certainly look cool though. But maybe we could have a system similar to artillery strike, but instead of explosives, they shoot illumination rounds (flares).
And the modeled lights (like on the hull of Sherman or on turret) could be activated to see in the dark as well.

It just feels kind of wrong to have flak trucks that were meant to shoot down aircraft in real life and not give them flak shells. It would be a fun and unique edition. I mean, AAA on the airfields have them, why can't the flak trucks?
I had an incredible match, among with my friends ( who were left in the battle), the map was advance to Rhine( conquest). So the enemy had around 13000 tickets left, while we were left with only 300 tickets, when i with my friend made a rush towards the cap point, ( after flanking through the entire map and stopping the enemy column). We sucessfully capped the point, held it for very long time, but still lost the match. We turned the tides of the battle at last moment, but just when we we thought we won the battle, out of nowhere came an enemy marder, destroying one of our tank. We were so close........ but no regrets. That was an epic battle.

My crazy story:
mine is quite a bit old, it was when i first joined up war thunder "25th of April 2013".
it was in july of 2013 when i first unlocked the La-5 and back then there was only one la-5 and it was the La-5FN
i queued up to battle and got into Korsun "Bear in mind this is way before BR system" when i took off and climbed to 3000m
i saw that i was the lowest player and had 4 Bf-109G2's higher than me, long story short we all fought on the deck
and that is where my Lavochkin fights best, i panicked and jammed one my guns and only had 20 shots left, i killed 2 109's and the third head to their base, i followed pace and he kept ongoing and i saw him going to land his plane; and for the gentlemen rules, i don't attack anyone who's on ground, so i got the throttle to 100% and went on when he was approaching to land and i lowered my landing gear and rammed him with my gears and back then he got "Soft Landing" and i sat there looking at the ticket marker to get to 0. Man i couldn't believe my eyes...

Till today I remember how on old Karelia map, I held on the spawn area two enemy Tigers H1 and T-34-85s(two too), with my alone M4A3E2 Jumbo. They were unable to damage me heavily, only track broken, or Gun barrel lightly damaged. Finally after a five minutes(and scoring over 2000 points on shooting and bouncing enemy shells), enemy Tiger H1 finally knocked my crew out(or blown up my ammo racks, not sure now, as that was two years ago) with lucky hit into turret over a gun mantlet. But still I think that was the most badass moment for me on Jumbo tank xD

Personally I think it shouldn't be implemented. They added smoke to give people mobile cover, to add an ability for some select vehicles to see through the smoke would just ruin the whole idea of having it in the first place.

So one Normandy game a few major updates ago, me and my mate were flying Americans, I was in the B-17E/L and he was in a spitfire, he went down fighting and I undertook my mission in bombing the target. The game was coming to an end and there was just me verses three enemy German fighters, now as some of you know the American bombers didn't have the best survivability because of the .50 Cals [until last update, thanks gaijin :) ], so being the B-17 pilot I was I didn't beck down from the fight, positioned my plane and opened fire, in two seconds the first fighter goes down with ease, the second damages my wings and knocks out engine 4 with the engine catching fire, I turned engines off and proceeded to dive to put the fire out and I came out successful with the fire going out in fives seconds. The third fighter finished off what fighter two had started and I began to go down but due to the stableness of my plunge to earth I opened fire on the last fighter for revenge, he burst into flames and died. It was now a race to who's tickets would go down to zero first, due to the allied team taking out the bases we had the advantage and the enemy tickets ran out first. Remember B-17 pilots, you have great survivability and a deadly armament, use it well and don't back down from a fight

When will the model textures, pilot model textures, and ai tank textures be update to a better more detailed version? Because right now they don't look very good.
My craziest thing in War Thunder is actually in Tank RB, me and a relative were playing British Valentines in Abandoned Factory, we had gone south into the train depot areas and encountered a couple of tanks, we took them out but then he had to go AFK for a few minutes. So he parked his tank stationary in a bush by one of the depots, while I was promising to do my best to protect him. But sadly, after a few tanks had come along at once they managed to take me out. What really confused me though, is how a total of four tanks rolled straight past the rather obvious Valentine tank still alive in the bush. One even turned his turret directly toward him, and when met with literally no reaction from the Valentine, he continued on his way. He survived the whole battle and did not return until just before the game ended.

1-bombers are players, 2-it would be similar to realistic/sim in the sense that you would need to alway be ready and aware for combat. And 3-they could keep the bomber limit

KV-1, almost invulnerable to any tipe of enemy, BUT the Italian had specifically develop a tank (the M.41) for going through it's armor, soo anyone that still think that the Italian tank are crap and that they need not to be added, well you are wrong.

Gaijin, I think you are killing World War Mode with your choice of game mode. Arcade players will not like the slower tanks and rippable wings, and Realistic players will despise the markers. I hope that some input will allow you to reconsider your choice.

actunpt It could be bullet drop prediction, but it is most likely nametags for enemies, showing you exactly where they are and ruining any sort of flanking or hiding. It makes all light tanks obsolete, and overall will completely ruin the mode.
I think markers will do justice for this game mode.On a HUGE map it will be very hard to spot someone with your eyes
thats why you are playing rb, for skills, for the ability to spot someone on 2-3 kilometers just by seeing that few pixels moving. also, it is not really that difficult to find and snipe people from a distance, i allready short some german tanks hiding at the edge of a forrest on a snow map with snow camoflage over a distance of 3,3km, it all comes down to skill, and i suppose thats what you want in a competive game mode

Was flying my B-17E, had been strafed all the way to and from target. A couple miles out from the airfield I realized that everything but my flaps, engines, and ailerons were black. I had pretty much no control, but I still managed to land at our airfield, though I was musding both my landing gear and part of my wing after my 'landing'.

My story is when I was in a KV-1 I-LL and I was capping C then out of no where 5 tanks came at me from all around, but the thing is they couldn't even pierce my rear armor! Eventually I got killed by a bomb from a plane so that's my story. And I want you to confirm 2 things Russian Bias is real and early Russian AA were milk/vodka trucks.

Technically the MC 205 wasn't the best Italian aircraft of WWII, it was just the most produced series V built because it started earlier. From tests carried out by Germans the best overall was the G.55, hence why they considered dropping the Bf 109s in favour of adopting the Fiat

the whirlwind is actually planned, it was in one of the future tech tree plans they showed years ago. Most of the planes on the plans are in the game now only a few are left.

My ''crazy'' story.
One time I wanted to play War Thunder, but not battles against other players, so I played a snigle player mission (to be specific, the 'Flying Boat' mission).
I spawned in the Catalina and remembered how SLOW it was, so I keps holding 'W' to fly faster. When it was time for me to land I was going too fast. I touched the water, but because I was going too fast it was NOT gentle.
I broke my wings and I was spinning at every direction.
Fortunately, there was a pier right next to me.
I HAVE NO IDEA HOW DID I MANAGED TO DO IT, but I crashed in an up-right position on it, and the body of my plane was STILL INTACT.
I ended up PASSING that mission.
Since pc can only download skins maps vehicles and ect. and playstation can't, why can't playstation have a in game menu to do such thing? I would like to make my own skin in game.
cause Sony is very strict when it comes down to downloadable content, updates etc for games on their console.

So I've been playing War Thunder for about 2,5 years now and I've got my dad to play warthunder, he currently enjoys grinding the German tree and has unlocked his first Fw-190. And I found my 50 year old uncle plays war thunder and has even unlocked all German tanks. And I found out that a old friend of my dad who is a Corporal in the Dutch army who actually has commanded a Leopard Flakpanzer in real life also play warthunder. I have a warthunder family.

no since all jets are tier 5 and since they will never ever ever add tier 5 premuims there will never be premuim jets (for example the e-100 profesional tank is a tier 5 tank but it will be a normal tank not a premuim)

The funniest thing ever happened to me when playing War Thunder would be when me and my friends are capturing base but then suddenly our friendly aircraft accidentally dropped a bomb on us and get all of us blown up
Best moment in War Thunder?
One time I was flying my Bf109E1 in air RB, and I was trying to kill a F2A. During a very low altitude manuever, I saw a friendly Bf109E1 approaching from 3 o' clock high. I thought it was going to be a close encounter, but it was too close. The poor guy in the other 109 got killed immediately, while I lost 1/3 of my left wing. _"Well"_ I thought, _"This is the end of me."_ . And then, a revolutionary idea came into my mind: Extend the flaps! The 400 km/h airspeed coupled with the extra lift I was getting from the landing flaps made sure I would make it back to base. As I was approaching the airbase, I spotted a blip on my radar: A F3F! It came as close as 650 meters, and I was a sitting duck.
I don't know who was flying that biplane, but I'm incredibly thankful that he showed some courtesy and didn't fire. I would have been the easiest frag ever, yet he chose not seize this oppurtunity. I made it back to base, and successfully landed.

My Crazy Story: Okay this occurred a long time ago, at least a year and a half or so, but I was in my Panzer IV C. The map was Poland, and I casually made my way towards the town. I randomly shot over the town then glanced at the clock in my room, I looked back and I saw that I had landed a critical hit on an M2A4, I was rather surprised and amused.
my most memorable experience was when I was in my wyvern at sea level chasing a do 335 b2 and a spitfire came to help but shot off my wing on axedent but I fired my rockets and hit the do 335 with one
that moment you did something really epic and suddenly realize you weren't recording. lmao 👍
the moment when you killed a Tu 4 in a Brummbär and destroy your monitor because you throw your Mouse away was so great.

my most craziest story was when drove to the enemy teams spawn point and there was a Zis-30 there and I shot him and got its commander, later that same match I'm still camping and I see the same exact Zis down the road fighting one of my teammates and I then killed him from behind. Even later I was playing my LVT in that match and killed a T-34 1941 point blank, right in his frontal slope right after turning a corner!
He tried in vain to get the new meatball engine for his spaghetti airplane, but to no avail. But he still worked hard on improving the sauce cooling system and the cheese guns for a better dish for when he got the meatball engine.
Craziest story? Most unforgettable moments? German 6.3 and 6.7 BR. Cant forget that

my craziest moment in the game, was when i killed a P-80 in a jet match with a Bf 109 F-1, it was difficult getting him but i did it in the end, thanks wolfypack for up tiering me :P

So i was with a friend casualy flying the Stucka with the twin 37mm,i don't remember how but i manage ( with some help or not ) to crash the plane a certain way so one of those 37mm canon was facing the the pass of some shermans, destroying them one after the other from the ground !

I once did an Epic Arcade stand behind a hill, in a PanzerIVH together with random squadmate in a T34.
The match was closing to an end with us defending the chokepoint making 5 and 4 kills.
so 3 dudes behind the hill said: "now or never" an charged out on the road next to the hill.
We (mostly I to be honest) kinda screwed up our counter attack.
The T34 took out one medium and damaged another heavy tank before biting the dust.
I charged behind him driving around the heavy tank - miraculously surviving fire from both to take out the heavy tank.
However the light tank was behind me and I had only Driver and Gunner left, when my egine caught fire with be beiing out of extiguishers.
My engine was dead , I couldn´t move
his tracks though were ripped, his amour mere spoof.
So there we sat.
Him praying my tank to finaly burn out.
Me praying for one last reload as my gunner turned yellow, orange, red , darkred -" GESCHÜTZ GELADEN!" / FIRE! / FRONTAL PENETRATION / CREW TAKEN OUT
I imediatly pressed the button to abandon tank - I it reachd 2 when my gunner died (heroicly)

About that crazy unbelievable moment in the game, once I was flying my spitfire mIIb nothing and it was a sunny day. Can't remember the map though but I remember we were facing the Japanese and casually I start my attack run on an enemy fighter (can't remember what it was, yeah I'm a noob)after I got a few hits but no serious damage on him/her I was pulling off when a teammate shot me by accident and he took out my engine (who needs it anyway) so I start hurling back to base. I wasn't that close to the ground but not that high up either and my engine held up pretty good until I was like halfway there (been having finals for two weeks, can't remember exactly everything)and then it just stoped so I glided for a bite before I knew I was going down so I deployed my gear and just said goodbye but then I saw the airfield on the map and it was close and I was going like above 200 km/h and then the miracle happened I stoped right at the airfield and started repairing

TL;DR: Capped the point nearest the enemy spawn in an M18 at the very start of a match on Advance to the Rhine, Domination, before they ever got there.
Craziest match I ever had was this. Advance to the Rhine, Domination (the 3 cap-point mode), Tank Arcade Battles. Our team spawned in the south. Now, I'd recently spaded my M18 Hellcat, and was loving its speed, so I selected to spawn in the south-east point, thinking I'd zoom over to the nearby point and cap it as early as possible. When I spawned, I found myself facing in the perfect direction, and as close to the cap point as I could possibly have spawned. Reaching the point within seconds, I had a crazy thought: what if I zoom right past the point on _our_ side of the map, and go harass the enemy tanks capping the equivalent point on _their_ side of the map (in the north-east)? So I did just that, but instead of finding a few enemy tanks in their point, I found a point entirely devoid of enemies. Zooming inside, I began to cap "their" point. After a few seconds, I saw an enemy tank slowly lumbering its way into the road leading to the point, so I shot him. I think I completely startled him. He stopped driving towards the point and instead turned into the demolished buildings for cover. By then I had fully capped "their" cap point, and a few of our faster tanks had followed me to the area and were laying down covering fire. The enemy team was so confused about what had happened that they just lost all coordination-and the match-within minutes.
Gaijin, if you can replay ancient matches on old builds of WT internally or something, this happened on Jan 11, 2016, at around (just before, probably) 2:15am GMT+2 (I know this because I have a (sadly) completely corrupted video of the match on my computer). My in-game user is Sandwiched.
The most crazy thing that happen Gaijin is that my friend and I use the M2A2 light tank in tier 3+ battle and get kills and troll the enemy with them.
So, the craziest moment I've ever had in warthunder? Well, I was once flying my Wellington over the Pacific Ocean and I had a load of 2 torpedos. I had finished my descent and was now headed towards the enemies carriers. As I was going in to drop my torpedos a zero got onto my tail. I was unable to fend him off and his 20mm cannons tore the rear section of my plane off from about the wings back. At this moment I had not yet dropped my torpedos. So, as my plane was doing front flips I waited till it was perpendicular with the enemies carriers and I let loose both of my torpedos before crashing into the ocean. I was spectating on of my team mates when I then saw one of the enemies carriers blow up and after I checked the stats it turns out that my torpedos hit one of the enemies carriers and sunk it xD

Once I carried a match with the enemy team having 15 tanks alive. I got 32 kills in that match and 7 captures.

There should be gamemode where more than 1 player control a tank/plane
Example: tank: 4 player
-gunner -reloader
-commander -driver
Each player can replace wounded crew
Every player has only 2 lives
make a special plane unhistorical free and give it a paper behind it saying" HAPPY SHOOTING RANGE DAY"
