Actually you can do a custom test flight with different mission to choose for your test flight. Your plane has to be in your lineup to do so but when you click to test flight you should see a Y button whatever the system is on.
I think the numbers for the thrust of the He-162 are wildly off in this episode (an extra zero and roughly double overall). It'd be one of the most powerful engines available if I'm reading the numbers right! Otherwise a great episode!

One day the p51 and p47 will have less than a 30min minimum fuel load lol I feel like they used it to balance aircraft by making them heavier. But that's just a hunch.

Basically get altitude on them or drag them into a turn fight otherwise their turbo prop will allow them to speed away. Also they don’t seem to climb that well if they don’t have high energy so you may be able to catch them on a stall maneuver.
F-4 is my favorite looking jet of all time. I also love to go out on the F-4E and gunfight around. Nothing more rewarding than outplaying F-16s one circle and Viggens two circle.

Honestly one thing I think would make the game perfect is removing the “you must have ___ amount of vehicles to get to the next tier” requirement and a bit of a tweak in the matchmaking like not putting F3F’s against the FW-190 A-1. This "obsolete" talk happened in 60s too for kinetic tank ammunition, and they tried the shillelalegh missile launchers and it failed miserably. Also guns for aircraft were thought to be obsolete due to homing missiles, which also proved to be wrong as F-4s without guns proved ineffective against MiGs with guns.

Starting load would probably be either 14 hydras or an AN/M3 and 7 hydras. if it got the MMS, it could also be a pretty neat feature to potentially add spotting for some helicopters
