Brian_Eugene_LeeI mean the hybrid option is just the plain better option of the two motor options tho would of been better if they just made that one the motor everyone gets
I noticed in some photos the DRLs on the Trailhunter had an amber color and other times it was white. Is there a switch inside to change the color of your DRLs?
Jeff, do you know if the onboard air compressor allow you to adjust tire pressure with a system connected directly to the tires without having to use an air hose that must be plugged inside before changing the air for each tire?
Looks like it's got half the rear legroom of the 5th gen. Hopefully I'm wrong about that. Several reviewers already commented that it's comfortable in the back for medium size people, which the old one didn't suffer from.
What is the difference between this and the new Land Cruiser since they both have the same drive train is it styling? Is toyota cannibalizing some of the sales of the 4runner with the LC?
Hrmm...they only really cross into the same markets at the Runners highest trim point. People who want decently capable transportation will go 4Runner, but most of those folks never would have considered Land cruiser to begin with since it starts at over $20k higher. So if any sales are cannibalized, it will be enthusiasts considering top Trim versions versus a Land Cruiser. So likely not many. Itll be hard to find those for a while so they might sell some LCs to impatient people, haha
2009 was the last 4Runner to have a driverside grab handle. Anyone know why Toyota omitted the driverside grab handle? It's not even on this new model. Meanwhile it's on the Lexus GX since the first generation. The rear tail lights are nice , just wish Toyota stuck with the amber turn signals like all the previous 4Runners. This new 4Runner has RED turn signals in the rear.
I want to love it, but The tumble seats are so bad 😭 even with a battery pack they could’ve gotten the cargo area to be closer to flat like the 5th gen 😭
At least the Bronco has a v6 option. Also 2 doors available....and a removable top....and no giant ugly screen jutting out for some reason...and I could go on, but the new 4Runner isn't my cup of tea.
No thanks I will keep my 2020 I like my v6 or a v8 and the got ride of the manual 4wd shifter and less cargo space the raised the back platform so can’t get my bikes in nor is it lay flat with folding seats . The screen looks like they slapped a iPad on the dash
Their current v6 hybrids wouldn't fit in the chassis it barely fits in the full sized tundra because you have to fit the engine, the turbos, and the hybrid parts and Toyota is just using the same engines that are in the Tacoma in the 4Runner
@@The_MEMEphis Im not sure that's true? The Land Cruiser has the same wheelbase and somehow has a v6 in it so it would be really strange not to be able to fit it in the 4runner.
This video is shot very poorly please zoom out the cam a bit and show the car features interior exterior from proper angles sorry but cam not handled properly makes the video very lousy
The last and only Toyota 4 cylinder I owned proceeded to blow up around the 60k mile mark and Toyotas own specialists couldn't tell me what was wrong after having my car for almost a month. Nah, y'all can keep that high strung tiny engine. Id rather get half the gas mileage in my v8 😂
Those clowns at Toyota had something so good with the 5th generation 4Runner for 15 years and how they screwed it up with 4 cylinder Turbo and much worst which is a hybrid. Get your credit cards out to financially support your service advisors.
Ignorant statement, but it’s to be expected. Toyota has been making Hybrids for 25 years now. Hybrids are some of their most reliable power plants. And…this hybrid makes more torque than the 5.7 Toyota V8.
Does Trailhunter look better inside or out? Like the new Everest color? How about the seats color and pattern? Jeff
That is an impossible question to answer.
The new 4Runner reveals have rocked my world.
We got the same rock buddy 🤘
That green blue teal looks soooo good. This is the one I'd get.
Looks great, saw another video on the limited and it was nice too. But I really want to see a base SR5 4runner.
CANT WAIT TO SEE THE LIMITED
It was really nice looking and I liked the seats too
Brian_Eugene_LeeI mean the hybrid option is just the plain better option of the two motor options tho would of been better if they just made that one the motor everyone gets
my concern is the turbocharged 4 cylinder.
Wow looks so cool 😎
Looking forward to the Platinum. This redesign looks amazing!
In love with this. ❤
How those back seets works ? When the fold, you cannot have any flat room all over the trunk ?
Toyota really took the time and $$$ to get it right..
Great job Big T🎉
I might have to put an order in for one of these this Fall

Hmmmm I don’t think I know that one yet. Need to test it
I would like to see any trim that has blackedout(night shade?)option. Limited? Or Plantinum?
I think this is the best 4runner ever built by Toyota. I Used to like the third generation, but I think this one is the best❤
Sharp!
Jeff, I am green with envy but then again, I usually am.
How would that do on a trip to Big Spring Texas to see Clay? What if we brought Barry and Steve?
This is so beautiful! Please let us have this with a 3rd row, toyota!
It's already a confirmed option
@The_MEMEphis edited! I meant for this specific model. I heard the hybrids wont have them, but if so then awesome!
@@dorrito all the hybrid components are in the back there isn't any room
How can you say look at all that room when there is less room because of the battery and the seats don’t fold up like the 5 gen ?
The Everest color is the one I want.
I’d pick it up
What trim levels are there going to be now? Also any word on price?
4. 52k plus

How much for the iforce max ?
Other 4Runner colors??? Please bring back Blue Flame!!! 💙💙💙💙

@@RedMage117 Thanks i did not realize there was such a large price difference.
Is this generation still assembled in Japan?
Yes it is!
❤❤❤❤
Will trailhunter be available without the hybrid?

Toyotas customer base is able to get in the vehicle without it
Ready to see the TRD off-road. So far the ones showed are a no go for me.
Just bought a new 2024, going to try and get 500k miles out of it :)
3rd row seating?
Available in certain trims, not the trailhunter or trd pro.

Was that a check engine light?
How i wish they give you the option be hybrid or not.
Yeah, You, TRD Jon, TFL and all the other you tubers told us what Toyota already did.
Not sure what your comment means lol
It puts the Bronco to shame!
The bronco is for old white guys from the Midwest 😂
At least the Bronco has a v6 option. Also 2 doors available....and a removable top....and no giant ugly screen jutting out for some reason...and I could go on, but the new 4Runner isn't my cup of tea.
Better than doug
No v6 = NO BUY !
lol yeah who needs a lot more power and mpg. Yes the V6 was great but technology makes things better. Try it at least haha
Glad you guys like it! I find it hideous
Me too. The 2014 model in white w platinum trim does it for me
You're right about that, no style but just squared up all over like they want it to look tough more than all.
I need you all to buy one so i can get it used
Soccer mom's 🚗 🚘
Price should be lower then the landcruiser.
i can already creeks and rattles from all that plastic
toyotas plastic is different plastic don't worry about that trust me

Ruined
Underwhelming, should’ve had an optional V6.🧐 You’re not going to see 300,000 miles from this four-cylinder🤣
bad take, Toyota's 4 cylinder turbos have been going way farther than that in the rest of the world for over 20 years now

@Thankyou_3 I agree this thing has so many failure points for off roading. A downgraded GX on the inside an upgraded RAV4 on the outside.
Can’t wait for 2 cylinder with more tq and hp, pass on this one 🥸
