Why would I hit the subscribe button when you guys didn't even drive the 4Runner and film it? When you put in the title we were handed the keys and don't show you driving the vehicle it's a big letdown to anyone that watches your video. You pretty much did what every other channel has done. You did a walk around.

@@GTGarageTalk every other RUclipsr that uses the phrase handed the keys means that the owner or the manufacturer has given them free rein to the vehicle. That's what I was referring to, when I read your video title I figured somebody finally got to drive it and film it. I was merely saying you should just have titled it 2025 4Runner first looks. Or something to that effect.

@@HotwheelsVision I am in line for a Lexus GX with $2500 down. I'll pay cash for the entire vehicle, minus 6 months of payment to keep my 800+ credit score... Explain to me what engine choice has to do with value please? The GX is luke warm for what we pay vs. get feature wise (especially that trash screen they give us). Plus I still have to install a battery and solar equipment, then pay for premium gas on 17mpg combined. I'm partially considering waiting for the GX 550 hybrid to see if they do an electric 6, but they probably won't have the room anyway. Doesn't really matter if it's a 4banger or not as long as it has the power. I want it to be as QUIET as possible.
I have a 600hp NA C6 LS3 and a 765cc motorcycle to appease my inner "man power". They are loud, so very loud, and fast.
Just because people have made good decisions with their money and have money, doesn't mean we should just blow it on whatever gives us the "more manly engine".

I have a 2008 4Runner and this is finally a worthy successor to the 4th gen. 5th gen didn't provide anything special over the 4th gen.
There's absolutely no reason a turbocharged engine can't be reliable. Toyota designed these engines from the ground up. If you don't believe it can be done, just look their diesels which are all turbocharged and known to be some of the more reliable engines in the world.
