    Looks dope but if the taco trd pro is anything to go off of - there is gonna be significant price overlap with the Land Cruiser. It’s gonna come down to which one people prefer

      @@TexasTruckChannel here where I’m at you can import any car as long as you can pay the import fees and duty 😂. The only reason I’m watching the American contents for Toyota is because I wanted a TRD PRO Tacoma. But the cost as well as the limited back seat space due to those iso dynamic seats are a big no no to me lol. Guess I’ll just wait for the new Hilux and get it in a GR package. Can’t beat that turbo diesel gas mileage as well 😂. Even heard they are suppose to come out with the mild hybrid diesel too in 2025. Could go days without filling up without a heavy load at the back 👌

      @@rollsroycenetwork1221 Hopefully they don't mess up too much with the new Hilux especially with the pricing. I am glad they are keeping the bulletproof diesel, they might bring the V6 diesel but I like the 2.8 so my next purchase will be the new Prado

      @@rollsroycenetwork1221dude you are so lucky to get turbo diesels in your Hilux. There is a company in San Antonio Texas that will swap in a D4D Toyota Diesel engine and transmission into any USDM Toyota. I will do that with my Dad’s 2017 Tacoma SR 4-cylinder 4x2 and also convert it to 4x4 once he stops driving (he’s 81).

      @@J.Young808 damn that’s a good way to get around that fr. I was really hoping Lexus would make the new GX in a diesel like the LX500d aka diesel LX600. However they come only in the tundra sourced turbo 6 cylinder. I’ve heard gas mileage in that thing is horrendous. And where I’m at it city driving 70% of the time. Fuel here is also outrageous. And I heard the new GX will come in the Land Cruiser mild hybrid 4 banger however with all that electrification and parts being so limited here I’m not sure I wanna take that risk in case something goes wrong. Might wait it out or just get the 4 cylinder turbo diesel Land Cruiser 250 also know as the Prado here. Getting tired of my lust for trucks. And the Land Cruiser 300 series and Lexus LX are way over my tax bracket 😂. Those things between dealer markups and import duty will have you paying almost 200K USD. I don’t need it that bad 😂

    I haven’t seen any reviews/overviews of the TRD Off Road trim of the T4R. I had a 2022 Off Road Premium w/MTM. I hope they put the Ventilated seats in the OR-P as driving in my friend’s SUV with them was nice here in Honolulu.
    The Off Road is the trim I’m most looking forward to finding out about, bummed about the reports of no KDSS anymore. Hopefully the GX’s e-KDSS will be available.

    Great Video! I just went to put a deposit down on a 2025 TRD Pro 4Runner and was told by my local dealership that they will automatically add a 20% markup. I was in shock. I believe the starting MSRP will be 68-70k. 20% markup on that brings it close to 84k before tax and fee's. I'm not paying 90k OTD for a 4Runner.
    Badass Hat!!!

    • @TexasTruckChannel
      @TexasTruckChannel  25 дней назад +1

      Oh man, those guys are nuts. Try a different dealer. We bought our Tacoma (non TRD Pro though) and paid MSRP. Although the dealer asked for 5k over and we said no. Once the vehicle is on the lot and you are willing to simply walk away, they usually change their tune.
