That was a wonderful way to start my morning! Thank you Candace. I have to share that I was a weight lifter and martial arts practitioner for years. An almost life ending wreck with an 18 wheeler and a recent diagnosis of lupus changed my ability to do those activities. Yoga has been a literal God send and significantly reduced my pain and increased my flexibility. As a medical professional I encourage patients of all ages to incorporate yoga into their lives!!!! I'm sold!!!

+Mary S Thanks, Mary! I'm sorry to hear the pace is too fast for your taste but I appreciate - from the bottom of my heart - that you worded it that way. So many people put it in such a rude way and it really brings me down. I do have some gentle, restorative and yin videos up, as well as a few slow flows, so if you download my app (just search yogaycandace without any spaces in the app store) you can easily find them (the app is really well organized so the vids are much easier to find). Love the sequence of poses but wish it were slower paced so there was more time to appreciate the benefits of each pose. Thank you!
Hey Jessica! You may want to try Hatha yoga or Gentle yoga - it's the same thing but a much slower pace. This style is vinyasa, which is meant to go from one pose to the next with dynamic movement, not really holding poses for too long which can power down the muscles.

I can't get anywhere on time in the mornings cuz I just can't wake up.. Total opposite of morning person lol This video actually gets me excited to get out of bed (somewhat haha) it's exactly what I need to get my body warmed up and woken up :)

It's been a month and a half doing this particular exercise. And despite missing a few days, I feel so different than I did before. The difference is seen even as I sit- I am now capable of sitting comfortbly even in the most twisted angles I can keep my body in😂. My flexibily has incresed to a great extent and I can actully feel my arm fat being replaced by muscles day by day. Despite it not being my actual aim, I've also noticed my clothes gettng looser around my shoulders. Best thing is, I enjoy doing this. I don't have to push myself to do this routine every morning before going to college. Its fun, and the results are just amazing!!!
