- The avata / Axis 3.5 flies pretty good in moderate wind... plenty of power. But it does shake about a lot in very strong winds (not that you'd fly usually in winds that strong anyway)
still impressed with this! Развлечения
Love the Horseshoe pass! 🤩 to be fair for a cinewhoop style quad in those windy conditions it looks like it handles it pretty well now 😎👌🏽... impressive!
I love the pass too mate 😁. The steak pie, peas, chips and gravy were on point!
Yea ... honestly... this kit transforms the avata! I have a 6s cinebot too and I love flying them both equally now!
I had contacted you about the motor overload warning well another question for you. It may be a bad esc but I had taken a brand new out of the box avata and performed the 3.5 inch swap, went for 3 flights and was good, on the 4th flight I got a battery overload message, the avata went to little power then shut down with 2 bars still on battery. Have you experienced any issues like this or might my esc be faulty.
Hi, I've had plenty of motor overload warnings. But never had a battery overload message... the only time I had any sort of error was on a speed test.... so i was full throttle for maybe 5 seconds... and it went into rth mode. I suspect the battery sagged for long enough to kick it into rth mode.
@Fpv-tv thanks for the reply, I think I figured out my issue somewhat. The props although having them on cw and ccw the correct corners the props were actually upside down and I didn't realize that the writing(manufacturers name) was supposed to face up to the sky when looking down on avata. Care of axis. RICHIE
@@richiefrankproductions This was the initial comment I found you on hahah!
It's a rocket, even with the go pro, now. What is your opinion on battery security with the new frame? There were aftermarket clips for the old frame. Is it more secure now or would a Velcro strap be a useful addition?
It is a rocket alright! The frame where the battery sits is from the original stock frame anyway. The only parts that are different on this new frame are the lower frame, ducts and motors. The upper half is all stock avata. So you can still use what ever battery clips you previously used on the stock avata
Is it good to add gopro when fylijg?
It's good to add a second camera to maybe get different perspectives for interesting footage
