Great video. Everything you said is true. I've done already 16 builds and as you said you have to be careful with the power connector. There is some glue over the soldering points and if you try to take it off cold you may rip off some parts that are covered with that glue as well. Use the soldering tip to melt that glue first. Lesson learned in the hard way. The other things are easy. Also when you do the motors be sure you don't have bridges or the wires touch the body of the drone. You will get ECS errors.

Nice, thanks for the comment! How do you like the Axis upgrade compared to all your other Drones?

This mod is the best so far compared with the original Avata , more power more everything. The battery is slightly less time but you can't have both. You have to sacrifice a few minutes for a better performance. Overall I love it.@@siemore

Great video man! I’ve been eyeballing the conversion kit after logging about 30 SIM hours and 20 real hours of flying in manual with my fair share of crashes, one of those being that pesky harsh turn that the stock avata just can’t handle and tanked. Dont feel like I’m ready to go full DIY yet but want more performance so this seems like a happy medium!

Glad you liked it ;) go for it! If everything works out, I think you definitely won’t regret it!

Nice video man 🙌 I'm really happy with the Axis conversion, it was a pain for me to build it but the final result is no brainer when it comes to performance. I had the same issue with the usb-c port, turns out it only works with usb-c to USB cable... Don't know why there is no information about this, it would save me 1 hour 😅

Hey bro, thanks for the comment! What exactly do you mean with the usb cable?

@@siemore hello Bro, you need to use a usb-c to regular usb connection. It´s basically the same workaround as for charging the DJI FPV controller 2

      Thanks man!
I got en from a random FPV Shop. They’re from Gemfan.
The motors from the Avata and Axis Motors are T-Mount. There are a lot of companies making 3.5” props with T-Mount (:
