Axis Flying DJI Avata frame kit Upgrade

This isn't exactly an instructional video, but it's a video to help you decide if the upgrade is worth it for you, so if you try this based on anything you see on this video you are doing so at your own risk. if you're reasonably good assembling, repairing and soldering electronics, this update could take up to 2 hours. This upgrade isn't for beginners or anyone not willing to void his/her warranty. Just know there's a high probability of bricking your Avata and DJI will NOT help you.

You can chose the kit with or without the motors, but the stock Avata motors will not work with the new frame so I'd just opt for the kit with the motors.

I'ts worth it in my opinion. it's way more stable, more power and more quiet. However, if you're not a fairly advanced builder and/or you're worried about your warranty , i wouldn't do it.

hi, thanks for the amazing guide, I have followed all the steps but front 2 motors are not moving. on goggles it show propulsion and esc error.
would you please help.

sorry for the late reply, my father passed so i've been off youtube for a while. hope you fixed it. generally you get that error if there's not a good connection to the motors. check your soldering.

@@pravyadav5264 yes I've had ESC and Propulsion system errors. Ended up replacing the ESC. I think some of my soldiering was bad. I'm up and running again. If you get it back together again, I highly suggest putting some Gemfan D90S props on. Turns AVATA into a rocket

@@pravyadav5264 3 blades. Not only do they make it faster, they make it considerably quieter. Also, I feel like the drone is both more stable and more nimble. I believe the part number is D90S. The S is the T-motor 2 bolt version, but the regular D90mm comes with center inserts
