Jeselnik's smile when he says "Thanks for having me. This is fun!" is what makes me like him as a performer. You can tell he's just having a fucking good time.
Jeselnik is that guy in high school that used to pick on everyone and get away with it, because he was legitimately funny. He's taken it to an unprecedented professional level that even Rickles would have appreciated. His humor is not for everyone, but if you like that kind of humor, he's at the top of the list.
@Goggle products Google some self help products man they are not that bad, look the host on conan you'll see that he is just like that a really jolly person .
Fuck Fallon. Him and kimmel are two of the most fake people I have ever seen. They are not funny, they are not talented, and it baffles me why people watch them. My kid has a heart defect the drs called “incompatible with life” (TGA) and when kimmel used his kids heart defect to push his political agenda that really pissed me off. His speech was dishonest. Conan is far funnier and will poke fun of himself without having to put other people down for laughs and he appears to have genuine empathy for people when visiting other countries. Letterman is a better interviewer. If you want a funny host, go watch 8 out of 10 cats does countdown with Jimmy Carr.
@@joshuavoss1387 Nice rant about talk show hosts without mentioning Craig Ferguson noob. You nailed the other part though, I can't stand Fallon but I'd rather listen to an hour of him than 10 mins of Kimmel.
all the very best shows are just 1 or 2.5 seasons max. We should consider ourselves lucky for having seen. Also Crashing is a better show in every way. Go Pete.
petes laugh is so obnoxiously bad, seems like nervous laughter, but its just so out of control and kinda cringe as a result of that. And as a host, his questions, comments, vocal tone and composure are all terrible. The guy is just too immature
literally my 2 favorite, and all too underrated, comedians ever! period. if you both dont keep your shows im boycotting life cause theres too much funny to ignore
Pete does a good job of playing the disarming weenie, but in RL he’s a sharp, shrewd dude. Absolutely lethal speed of intellect on that dude. So much respect.
Never seen someone take a ripping like that so hilariously.... and take it so awesomely to the point that he looks as good as the mean delivery method or better. Very nice back and forth.
"You're dressed like you're the CEO of a pumpkin patch" might be the most perfect and appropriate to the situation insult of all time. What an absolute genius.
See, when Pete Holmes laughs hysterically at his guests, it seems genuine... Unlike JF, who seems to be buying time to either let the awkwardness pass or to think of something clever to say.
@Robert Lee, Countertenor Christ, my guy... Tell us how you really feel! But seriously, how bad did dude suck on SNL?! I couldn't even slightly understand his success.
He thinks Tony Jeselnik is the devil! The devil is so cool! The devil wears a fucking awesomectacular men's black leather biker jacket! It's something a Vulture Lord fan like me would wear! Yea! The color of his leather jacket matches his black sense of humor! Love it!
He only does that when someone he is speaking with says something so stupid that he doesnt feel the need to keep the alpha stage persona on in order to keep everyones attention and to keep the conversation sharp. Comedy after all is the art of keeping an audience's attention. And with Pete's totally off paced "you are like the devil challening people to fiddle competitions" comment like wtf
@@DamoresFl I felt Pete was trying to say that Jeselnik's instructions to his fans ( to give him something, without specifying what it was they could give) was like inviting them to offer things like sex, drugs, etc. Which is why Pete is expressing with his conception of Jeselnik's actions as demonish. Whether true or not, Pete genuinely found the concept funny.
Id love to see your show on TV, but in Canada, I don't have access to TBS. Hopefully watching your clips here on RUclips will help your show in some sort.
I'm pretty sure Pete plays his awkward stance for the sake of the interview but... the way Anthony seems all alpha and shit just makes Pete look like a weird youtuber. Edit: Jeselnik wrote for Jimmy Fallon. Then he quit. Chops man.
was just scrolling to see if anyone else said it. I'm right there with you! (and the pink icon is a total fluke, shows even though gender set to male and always has been)
I've noticed that he seems to make unremarkable incelish young American men very excited (no personal insult intended to you Matt, other categories of men like him too).
I was watching this with my wife and after Jeselnik tell Pete he looks like the ceo of a pumpkin patch, she jumps to Pete's defense and says "Well, Jeselnik looks like he manages a Jiffy Lube..." 😂
Mr. Holmes, You are an incredibly talented individual. You're A Fantastic Comedic Actor and a Very Creative Writer. . . .You don't have to pretend to laugh during your interviews.
"CEO of a pumpkin patch" is the most oddly accurate thing that could've possibly been said about Pete's outfit
He looks like Willy Wonka's accountant
That was such an incredible burn 🔥
And he said it so quick like wtf lol
And you look like a sociopath when you spoil punchlines
Nailed it

That last joke, "so what are you gonna do next after this is over?", stings a lot more now that the show didn't get picked up for season 2. :(

Pete looks like John Ritter and Gary Shandling had a child that laughs too much and covers his face every chance he gets. Love the show

CEO of a pumpkin patch -- wow. that's gold
“Do you have an example of one time I’ve been nice to you?” I am using this line on my coworkers from now on! 😆
