For all the cool things AI and DeeFake tech can potentially accomplish, there is always the dark flipside. You COULD create legal boundaries when it comes to selling and profiting from it.. but it'd be difficult to realistically outlaw simply creating it and posting it. Conceptually speaking, it's no different than posting spicy fanart of famous people, characters, etc. which has always been legal.

You can tell theyre fake most of the time. People are concerned because its relatively new tech but its just life. You cant trust everything you see online and deepfake tech is gonna reinforce that. I wouldnt be happy if someone deepfaked but I wouldnt be that concerned with people thinking its real. Especially because in situations like this example it just adding someones face to an already existing porn video. It would be easy to prove that its not actually you.
