When I was a teenager I really wanted to feel love because I felt at the time that I was starving for it cause I thought my family didn't love me (not an excuse just giving context) so I was in relationships with many girls at the same time and told them all that I loved them and convinced them to fall in love with me. I really messed up this one girl who genuinely loved me and I cheated on her with her friend and then blamed her friend. I was a mess and a scoundrel and I needed to change. I've been married for 15 years been with my wife for 17 and never acted that way again. I called the girl I messed up with years later and apologized and caught up. She's also married with kids of her own and told me it meant a lot that I owned up to what I did and that she needed it.

It’s just that morally it’s wrong but in most situations, a lot of people just typically call out the other for lying then that’s it. Both parties don’t interact with eachother anymore. It’s not usually a thing that’s done in court.
It’s when things get reported to the police and then it becomes a larger issue that such consequences could arise. Take my father for instance in his situation with his now ex wife. She made a false allegation to the cops, did a report and everything and now it’s been nearly three years since then. Where my dad has had to firstly be put on bond to get to the point of hiring a lawyer, spend already over a hundred grand in lawyer fees alone, then the constant going to court each month to just have the prosecution side ask for more time being put off every month (been happening for three years) they haven’t even had a discovery yet and that’s merely bc no crime was ever committed. They took “evidence” of this “incident” but they have no proof bc it never happened. This woman and my father had had no issues these past ten years. But we all know this woman’s intentions. She tried to kill my dad In the same manner she killed her previous husband. Least his death is being re investigated. Just some evil women out there who could have a man take care of and raise her 8 kids, paying for everything while she goes out every weekend sometimes even Thursday night and not come home til Monday or Tuesday. Who had no issues but now she tries to kill him and he survives then she gets all pissy and calls the cops? My dad ain’t the type. I’ve seen how my mom would beat on him and he wouldn’t do a thing to her. And what happened? Dad was able to get out on bail and she called the cops again to get him inside. While she was robbing him blind of everything he ever owned before her; in his storage unit stuff from when he was a kid before me even.. he got a legal divorce without her signature which she wasn’t going to give bc she wanted his social security and life insurance and again she called the cops. Like this woman is seriously a black widow. I prey for the day these charges get dropped. I think most men need to do this for any woman if she made these claims against you. They need to learn that things like this should not be said, that she will be legally responsible for the weight of those words and any damages of character you face bc of it.

Lemme add a medical perspective to this conversation:
I'm a psychiatric nurse who works at a mental health hospital. We see all levels of mental disease, from people with depression to full-blown psychosis. Over the course of my career, I've realized that truly insane people are rare, and those who are can truly not be held accountable for their behavior. In the Acute Wing of my hospital, where the really insane folks are, we deal with crazy behavior every day, but we never take it personally cause those folks genuinely are completely disconnected from reality. Their brain chemistry is simply irreparably broken. Those guys smear themselves in shit and punch and bite our way and we deal with it cause they simply cannot help it.
That being said, MOST people with mental health issues are a combination of brain chemistry AND unhealthy behavior. For the former, that's what medication is for, but for the later, that's where Behavioral Therapy comes in. We may give you all the pills you need for your brain to not be firing off, but after that, you need to COMMIT AND TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY of the rest of your treatment.
At that level of mental disease, your lack of mental health only excuses you SO FAR, and after a point, you're simply an asshole with a "convenient" excuse. And, like this dumb chick, a lot of people are PERFECTLY comfortable with their mental illness cause it gives them an easy out to not take any accountability for their actions. We deal with people like this often in my hospital, especially younger people and addicts, and trust me, we have ZERO sympathy for them. We obviously give them all the proper care and fulfill our responsibilities of providing them with a safe environment and all their physical needs met, but we roll our eyes to their bullshit sob stories and dodging of responsibility, usually focusing our energy on patients who are making an actual effort to better themselves.
The fact that she recognizes her behavior is aberrant and she still refuses to take responsibility or accountability for it tells you all you need to know. This girl could go into a mental health hospital and come out just as bad or worse than when she came in, and it has zero to do with the care given there and everything with her complete refusal to commit to bettering herself.

It’s rare that a kid gets raised healthy with healthy boundaries and with a healthy emotional understanding and then does awful things where they do awful shit. How do you get to whatever age she is and not understand basic concepts like regret, consequences of your actions, the fact that what you say doesn't just disappear (this is both for her false accusations and her straight up admitting to being a pathological liar) and the fact that if you fuck up as an adult, people aren't going to be as forgiving to you as your parents were when you were a kid. Once upon a time, someone ranting & raving on a city street would be left alone, ostracized by everyone else. Now they get online & those same weirdos form a "community," which most folks automatically feel obligated to respect for some reason. They need to be recognized for who they really are & treated like they would be IRL -- not cruelly, but being wary & avoiding them if at all possible.
Narcissism was purposefully bred into society, en masse, post WWII (not saying it didn’t exist, prior. Though, they figured out exactly how a narcissistic personality is made - same exact steps taken in Satanic Ritual Abuse - and didn’t it on a massive scale; specifically, to destroy Western society).
