Same, I don't think first blood and first turrent should be objectives in that category, should be like, baron and soul, so it actually helps you close matches instead of just feeling that you are doom from the beginning. Edit: Another good thing could be that you can earn them even if the other team completes them first, so it makes everyone go for objectives more.

Like others have said, I would have really liked if Viktor's kit was updated along with his visual, so it was a legit rework. Like if you CS with Q then that minion becomes an allied 'glorious' minion or something would have been a nice way of showing his 'evolution of humanity' mindset. Lots of other possibilities but so much of his kit just doesn't seem to fit his theme, even before arcane.
I’m not super onboard with making Viktor into his Arcane form. In season 2, he got the 3rd arm to be more like in game, now his in game self is his show self, but now the 3rd arm is a reflection of a reflection… I don’t know. I’ll miss old Viktor’s more sinister look
Honestly what bothers me is that Arcane season 2 was a letdown past the first 3 episodes so getting Alien Viktor in the game aswell is just the nail in the coffin. Maybe they kept some form of "legacy" skin at least. I truly hope we won't be stuck with Alien Viktor as the default skin. At the very least i won't argue that he doens't look better when looking at some of his reworked old skins but he lost quite a bit of bulk and that feels really odd sometimes. Like old deathsworn looks better than the new one.
They said it would be a VGU and this is just an ASU with a few tweaks to his abilities, they should have have said it would be an ASU with a mini rework because I was expecting something else
@@ljp400 the feats will make it more difficult to do effectively. Potentially giving up one of the three feats for a possible strategy isn't as clear cut as "I run it down and still win". And you're almost guaranteed to have your team rage at you if they didn't already.
I like the idea of the feats of strength/the boot upgrades but considering the power of them they need to make it so that both teams get access to them. So primarily tie it to tower destruction. aka 1st tower gets one, a tier 2 tower gets one, and then maybe inhib gets the third. Then maybe also tie it to early objects so first blood gets one and grubs gets one. This way getting those early objects will get you access to the upgraded boots quicker allowing for a faster snowball, however the other team still has a way to catch up instead of being permanently behind
I think the current system is more balanced than people are giving it credit for. The free upgrades are very small (25%->30% attack speed), and the paid upgrades are cost-inefficient - I think the meta will be to only build them after you have 6 items. Essentially, it looks like the paid upgrades are to raise the total item value ceiling a bit for the team that leads early.

The long casting time on tp might be op if you use it on a minion which has tower aggro since it becomes invincible. Or did they anticipate that and make further changes?
As a jungler that plays in a scrim team and participates in first blood in most of my games (for better or for worse), I can say that I am fond of: - teleport changes: the meta behind teleport in scrims became incredibly stale. Now, it feels like more of a trade-off, and not a get-out-of-lost-lane-free card when you get solo killed by a level 2/3/6 advantage. Even later in the game, the teleport option was far more limited, meaning teams need to be more conscientous of lane assignments as the game progresses, and it isn't just a 1-4/1-3-1 tp-for-any-fight battle. In fact, the amount of time it takes to TP in is now somewhat less than the time it takes for many assassins to one-shot a carry, adding a strategic layer. Teleport has become practically become flash 2.0, to be honest. - early objective value = team value --> picks like (nida)lee, nunu & willump, and first-tower picks like ziggs suddenly have more value in a scrim environment. Boots stat gold look to be comparable to ornn bonus stats. - viktor changes: i really like this champion in its present state, but it struggles quite a bit in a comp setting. Now it has a bit of that 200-year-old-touch, with the ultimate "resets" on takedown. Now he feels like a less-versatile hwei, with strengths on his focus points (q/e/kiting/r-scaling) and a kit that can be comp-defining as he is relatively-blindable. His new form seems like it can define the iconic control mage. Things I think are unhealthy for the game: - GA effect seems a bit specific, and it is not clear to me what problem it addresses. I am all for innovation, and I am curious to see what sort of compositions can emerge from this, but it seems to me like the effect could be balanced better: maybe when dying with that effect, you also double your own shut down (it seems borderline broken at protecting shutdowns against late-game compositions, which will likely need to rely on one window of opportunity to collect shutdowns in a desperate fight back), so that it has or trade-off I am afraid it will just become a mid-game-teamfight-comp wincon though, and tbh, those types of comps will win any fight around that objective around its spawn timer given the position it has on the map and the cost of teleport. - stat-collection-minigame: If you ever did the math on the original iteration of infernal cinders (they used to be comparable to caster minions on a gold-value level, if you ignored diminishing returns, but were later nerfed to a point that they were worth much less than that), and now if you would do the math on the flowers, you would see that you're basically rewarding players to path inefficiently for a virtually negligible stat gain. I don't want my teammates to have more excuses to drop critical tempo value and grouping essentials. It just seems like an unnecessary skill-check -- it would be cooler if they were more rewarding and more rare, so they could become mini-objectives with a clear risk-reward factor.
as long as you get 3 points on feats of strenght it is possible to purchase the boots, so even if the enemy team gets first blood and break, you can still do 3 epic monsters and also be able to buy the items, so it's NOT as op as is looks for it, but early winning does play a WAY bigger role, exemple is winning agains kayles, you'd win easy lane phase just to lose late game to a dude who just farmed 20 minutes straight and can now ik your team, by getting the feats quickly you can snowball much harder to make games way quicker, this is my POV though.

I have a feeling that the new rune might be a new part of veigars core build and even though it will hurt early without manaflow you do have the option of rod of ages or seraphs if the enemy team has burst or frozen heart for tank veigar (also can't trist & ziggs bot cheese the objective map thing? I mean ziggs for early first tower and trist can maybe cheese a first blood)

Maybe keep the winning team small buff and make so the losing team can only upgrade their boots after 3 legendaries? Maybe won't really help, since you're already favoring early snowballs, but being locked out of an item sucks.
I know they’ve added all of this to make a comeback easier, but it seems everything they’ve added will make the game so one sided it will end in more ff’s. Being ahead the entire game and losing because of one bad fights sucks, but never being ahead to begin with sucks even more. These changes also make it seem like picking late game scaling champions is detrimental to winning the game because the game winning power spikes are now tied to early game objectives.
Poor junglers got even more pressure on him now. Wish the new feats of blood or w.e was actually a momentum swing, reward for whoever is ahead. Help the games end by who has been consistently the best. And if that just happens to get upset, the balance twists into your favour.
23 seconds on a full ult with max range is insane definitely need size tuned a little also you should use a character with a tap ult for that new rune since viktors ult is an active skill it cant refund cooldown bc the ability is still active thats why you only got 9 seconds refunded

Its actually playable with IE, As Boots, Collector,… If u just go 100% crit with full ad u can actually oneshot with his e because it does 200% ad damage and if it crits it actually does 300% of ur ad in total. They buffed the e so it does 200% instead of 150%. Im addicted to the crank now. I played it as support and it worked out pretty well. Maybe if u play it mid, it will scale even faster and its gonna be OP😂. Its so funny because u can max W first and just run at the enemy with a million as and kill them. Maxing e isn’t even needed because it just lowers the cooldown, so u can max it second.
Yea, Viktor's Q's boosted AA becomes a non-projectile, and Yasuo BS wall blocks only projectiles. BTW, you could try a Yasuo with Navori Quickblades, to spam Wall, and be ridiculously annoying (well, if the enemy teamcomp is full of projectiles abilities...)
honestly, i would pay happy the price of a legendary skin for a map skin that i can select in any time of the year, instead of making millions of skins, a good profitable map skin per split or even per season, i swear it would be a bang

Zwag should do a magic pen build on brand or mord, get malignance, void staff, spellslinger shoes, bloodletters curse and a storm surge

The axium rune prob be good on teemo, swain, yorick where the ult has longer use/ can be used more often

viktor ult cd only go on cooldown after the ult end, that's why you din't refund much of it's cd.

Yea, Viktor's Q's boosted AA becomes a non-projectile, and Yasuo BS wall blocks only projectiles.
BTW, you could try a Yasuo with Navori Quickblades, to spam Wall, and be ridiculously annoying (well, if the enemy teamcomp is full of projectiles abilities...)
