It didn’t say the child was “eating” his nuggets - just that he “had” or “was still holding” them. That’s something a little kid would do in light of a sudden, shocking occurrence. I have no idea why you heard “eating” when that’s NOT what was said, but you go even further with the “well he must not have been THAT upset.” All the vile adults involved in this crime - and you make some bitchy comment about a little boy whose mother was shot to death two feet from him? That’s something Charlene might say! You know, the person who suggested murder & who videotaped a tiny girl being hit in the face by a GROWN MAN & then broadcasts it telling everyone what a rotten child she was & therefore deserved it? It's sickening to think that she would deprive her own children of their father, even if she had gotten away with it.
Imagine being willing to harm your children emotionally just so you could have what you wanted.
      😪
I hope that the other inmates find out that she allowed Dean to abuse his precious baby in front of her, and about her being in on the plot that ended up murdering a mother right in front of her toddler.

There is a RUclips channel called The Behavioral Arts. I learned on that channel that the reason people do this, where they grin or smile or laugh or have a joyful expression on their face *while expressing something awful,* is because when people think they are pulling the wool over, they just cannot help themselves but to express happiness and joy. It's as if the subconscious mind leaks out, and we see the bizarre juxtaposition of a big grin as the person states how awful it is that her children's father was murdered, and justice needs to be meted out.

@Xai I'm thinking more that the (future) victim can more easily get away. Any couple with a child is stuck having some kind of contact a minimum of 18 years. Plus many people, especially women, have a deep need to nest, sometimes with the first person who comes along. And then -- oopsie! -- pregnancy. Though we know how to prevent that these days. If I had a dollar for every time I heard someone say "we're giving it another try -- for the sake of the kids" or "I want to give my children a mother/father and a home. That's more
than I ever had", I'd be a rich, rich lady.

My sister in law is like: "you aren't going to eat half of these? Guess what you will get for 4pm snack..." You just have to outsmart kids when they get whimsical to test you ^^
That's the problem with dumbbells like Dean, they lose their temper as their brain can hardly compute more than two options to get round an issue. "Huurrr huh... Option 1: say not eating veggies is a federal crime, Option 2: beat into compliance, -Option 3: lock into the basement dungeon to punish for the repeated federal crime- "

@jib jabs mcadoo That's where my brain breaks I think.
My kid isnt being defiant just to be a "bad kid". He doesn't have the capacity to understand manipulation. He just knows that "Dude, my dad just pulls mcd's out thin air and that's AMAZING. But now his magic is bringing me steamed broccoli? What the f*&%? Do better magic dad."
Getting violent and aggressive doesn't teach him anything other than fear.
Also, my trick for veggies has been to give him both my helping and his on his plate. We share them together off of his plate. Nothing else has worked, but making a "team effort" seems to do it.
For fruits, I freeze what I can and stick popsicles in them. Doesn't work for all fruits...works best with bananas.
