I know right, the moment he said, 'She's just kind of standing there motionless... ' I heard 'standing' and thought, 'thank god this person is alive and well enough to stand,' and then my heart sank. Quick reality check to remind me I am watching Mike delivering true crime cases here, it doesn't mean I can't feel unexpected surprise, horror, compassion, empathy, heartbreak and rage... quite the roller coaster of emotions really.
Just dropped a similar comment and scrolled down to look for any mutual thinkers... took a while but finally found one, haha. But was quite a demonic moment for sure.
Gosh. Imagine seeing your abusive ex husband coming into your room at night. Then realising he's here to kill you. Then you see your daughter is there to help him end you. Then you remember your 14yo is downstairs and you don't know what these demons would do to her. And there's nothing you can do. This poor woman's heart must have broken before they killed her.
The way you just worded that is SO spot-on...and it's so much worse than basically any horror movie I can even begin to imagine. That poor, poor woman. It sounded like all she wanted to do was keep her kids safe, healthy and happy. As a mom, I literally got chills and felt sick to my stomach just reading your comment and trying to imagine that...a true, literal living nightmare.
And also, the part where you talked about her heart breaking? SO spot-on, as well! Again, as a mom, trying to picture myself in that situation, I *know* that my heart would be so utterly shattered that I would probably not even care as much about dying as I would about the absolute, total sense of betrayal and grief. What mother would even have much of a will to live at all, after realizing that the same child that she'd she carried for 9 months, birthed, loved, raised, homeschooled and desperately fought for in court hated her so much that they were willing to murder her?? It's beyond comprehension.
Yeah, and I could also imagine she thought to herself, how many times she saw the red flags in her relationship with this Narcissist and chose to ignore them. Probably wish she had a do-over.
I like how the cops were trying to talk him off a ledge. Trying to convince him to please not kill himself. Then as soon as he gets off and turns his back an officer just absolutely yeets his face into the concrete.
I wasn’t watching the screen and all I heard was he was on the ledge and they’re trying to talk him down for 90 minutes then I hear bam and Mike talking about how funny it was. I thought when I heard the sound that it was him jumping so I had to rewind it. It was even funnier because of that.
Jesus, I can't imagine being the man who found her... he looked in and thought she was just standing there motionless, in a dark hallway.. that would scare the shit out of me!
My mother and found my sister, who had decided to do the same as Michelle. I still have nightmares. And I will never forget my mom's cries. It's... Unreal. You look, and think something, then look again and reality starts seeping in like black ice down your neck and back. I will say, the first responders were absolutely fantastic, including the cop my (4'11") mom was pounding her fists on, demanding to see her daughter. You never ever forget, even 20 years later.
I mean it shows she was cooperative and obviously remorseful of what she had done, I’m pretty sure all the crying and truth telling is what got her 1-2 years and paroled out
RIGHT!?! I just commented about that, as well!! That was creepy and disconcerting AF! So, so wrong in so many ways! I'm sorry, but that transition between (ostensible) distraught weeping to perky cheerfulness and then immediately back to crying? FAKE. That coldness totally gave me chills. Poor girl: that's such a shockingly unnatural, programmed way for a kid respond to supposedly JUST hearing that your mother hung herself...which is why that recording also told *me* everything I needed to know about JUST how twisted, coached and controlled by her dad she was. I must admit that I honestly do have tremendous sympathy for her, because I believe that once her dad's control wears off (and it most likely will) she'll be hit with the full emotional impact of knowing that she essentially aided and abetted in the murder of her own mother. When or if the full impact of all that hits her, I have little doubt she'll be utterly destroyed emotionally. In essence, this monster didn't just murder his wife...he also twisted and tampered with his own child's mind, heart & soul in the most cold, callous, calculating and evil ways imaginable. I can only hope that someday his daughter will find healing from his cruel & repulsive abuse of her mind.
Has everyone forgotten about when her dad asked her, "do you think you could cry?" and how she responded???... Regarding her trying to excuse herself from being interviewed by the detective because this has been SO hard on her.
Well, maybe because she was manipulated all along. It's like those cult members not seeing what they did wrong or weird. She's like that I think. I feel bad for her in a way. You can't really say she's lived her life with a father like that. Parents can love their children without manipulating them. If you're forgotten, it was mentioned that they were taught by their father to hate their mother. If you've been raised that way, how can you see that something is wrong without someone pointing it out to you and drilling that to your head?
1-3 was too light of a sentence. She was an adult, she knew what they had planned, done & then spoke about fake crying!! Mercy is 1 thing…slap on the wrist is another! She needed to take more responsibility. If not for her…the MURDER would have not taken place at that very moment!
their grandma did say he was sexually abusive but she didn't clarify if that was towards her daughter or grandkids. Maybe her daughter told her someone was being sexually abused but because it's her husband, maybe she didn't wanna disclose who. Maybe that's why Karrie was his favorite and why the mom decided to keep Karrie with her, ugh I don't even like thinking about it
Yeah the way he says sweetie gave me the creeps like he was a guy on to catch a predator.. The dudes creepier and more manipulative than a priest haha, and that's an accomplishment The funniest thing is the daughter spilling her guts and incriminating him completely and then finishing with I want a lawyer hahaha like, when it's already pointless
Not everyone who is suicidal and doesn't kill themselves is a narcissist. I don't because I don't want anyone to become traumatized because of seeing my body afterwards, lul
@forest rin yep. For him it was probably something like "Oh crap, I don't know what to do. Well, maybe they will spare me like my daughter did if I threaten to kms". Abusive manipulative people often threaten people around them like that, but almost never actually do anything.
He manipulated his daughter with threats of suicide which was easy, she was clearly weak minded and he tried it again with the cops but they said hellll no we arent havin it...
This is sickening, hearing a daughter talk to her father in such a casual, not giving a crap that they killed their mother way. The father telling her to cry when she talks to the police. Heartless, animals, pure evil.
"I want a lawyer" she says, after she had given them a full confession. Hilarious. If they had both lawyered up right from the start, this would have been a real tough case for the prosecutor.
@@jordanmoir1076 The dude was never going to jump, he is a narcissistic asshat, he values himself too much to do that...he was just trying to get attention, he didn't have the stones to yeet himself off a 5 story ledge...too bad though, like you said, now he's a burden on tax payers and a waste of perfectly good air...
Us folks in The Black Country, England, say "goo" for "go" for real. That is how we speak, along with so many other incorrect words lol we are called yam yams because we say "You am" as opposed to "you are"..
I agree with you on that because you would think you would ask for a lawyer first but obviously she wasn’t thinking too smart but I know that if you’re brought in to be questioned by police you can ask him I am I under arrest and if they say no then you can get up and walk out because you’re not in a rush but if you’re under arrest then you should ask for a day and where I hope you have a great day or night
It was funny, but she's wearing different clothes, so I'm pretty sure the lawyer one was an earlier interview and the babblefest was later. Or she spilled it all one day, then came back and realized she was in trouble too, so she demanded a lawyer. Either way, it's not the same interview.
i think she asked for a lawyer when they started questioning her involvement. prior they were trying to get motive and she was making it seem like it was all her dad's idea and plan.
It was actually pretty genius to blab everything and then ask for a lawyer. It makes you look innocent and naive when you punish both your Mother and Father and yourself!
Probably not at all. If it comes to such things then the family relationships had gone bad for years. If she was really oblivious she must have been incredibly naive. I believe she might have suspected something but chose to ignore it.
The love of your entire life (25yrs) that's a lifetime. A daughter you gave birth to and raised. She asked him "why? Why?" The daughter heard this as well and still went through with it while sitting there as her mom is killed. The betray she must have felt. Such a sad story.
She'd been raised to dismiss her mother and it was really like a cult with the dad. But she did change and when describing the hanging she broke down. And then she must have seen her father in a new light. It was like listening to that eldest daughter in the Westboro Baptist Church. It's inspiring for the onlooker.

@@badgalriri2354 Actually, that’s not true. And I know you race vultures want it to be true with all your little hearts. When I was in college (20 years ago) studying criminal law, that same narrative was being pushed about race and victimhood. I believed it and thought the justice system was racist. That is until I started to do actual research and case studies. The numbers do not match that narrative. There are some cases (mostly very old ones) that can be contributed to racism but the vast majority do not have anything to do with it. In fact, you often see the opposite where blacks get more breaks and more lenient sentences. Maybe you’ll read this far or maybe you won’t. But the truth is more important than any agenda. I cannot believe how far this BS has spun out of control. The truth is that POOR people are far more likely to be targeted or put in jail unfairly than anyone else. I watched this with my mom and 'sweetie' is her favourite nickname for me. The way he said it creeped us both out so hard we had to pause and shudder together in mutual disgusted agreement that it sounded wrong and downright incestuous. Neither of us could pin down what it was, just something in the inflection seemed more like how you'd refer to a lover than a daughter...it freaked us out more than the daughter's flip in attitude. I've been called sweetie by male relatives too and it never sounded like that. I don't doubt that he put his family through some screwed up BS well before that.
@@rekietabeatslc9980 I mean, a father doing his daughter's hair isn't strange, but his attitude toward her IS very concerning. He definitely did something to her :c
Eh. She could have been wracked by guilt, planning on confessing anyway and cooperating. Ideal? No. I have some experience in this kind of thing and I’m not sure she really hurt herself much. She gave a full confession , and given her age and the impact of a father on her prior to her attorney smacking some sense into her...her deal was pretty good. That said ALWAYS ASK FOR A LAWER.
Lol exactly!!!! Here's all the evidence that I have now give me a lawyer. I'm glad though that in the plea agreement she said the exact same story. And she only added a few different details. Not a very smart kid at all. At least she isn't a complete lying pos like her dad.
The way Mike combines his telling of the story with captured phone calls and interrogation/trial footage and intertwines it into an enthralling story is truly an art form. Let’s have a goo!
Why is no one mentioning how nice Mike’s smile is when he says ‘that’s pretty fucking funny’? We never really get to see him smile properly…. It’s just…. NICE! Lol
Than of course she pleads Not Guilty at the trial after all that. Because of course they wouldn't possibly have her on recording admitting to it or anything.
Crazy cause a prosecutor would've had an extremely difficult time getting a guilty verdict if they kept their mouths shut and lawyered up. The whole _I don't wanna appear guilty so I'll cooperate_ mindset has sent many criminals (and innocent people) to prison. Always lawyer up, *especially* if you're innocent.
I wondered the same thing but we dont really know the correct order of how things happened, this was just presented in the video as happening first when in real life, that could of be after she struck the plea deal - which would make more sense. 1thing about any video is, time is not as our mind puts it, just as you thought why did she spill the beans first and then ask for a lawyer, when in reality she probably lawyered up first and after the agreement was made, she gave all the details. Regardless, it was posted here and many other places" "The whole I don't wanna appear guilty so I'll cooperate mindset has sent many criminals (and innocent people) to prison. Always lawyer up, especially if you're innocent. " Is 100% accurate - you always get a lawyer, PERIOD! No where in your rights does it say anything you say can and will be used FOR you in the court of law - it's all against you, nothing positive will come from any statement you give and no matter how innocent you think your statement is, the police and DA will use it against you one way or another.
Agreed. I once dated a guy who was an absolute creep and he talked to his little 15 yo sister that way. Calling her “sweetie,” “honey,” in this sickeningly sweet voice. Nobody talks to their sisters or daughters that way. It honestly made me feel sick to hear him croon to her like that. It didn’t sound right. I think they talk that way bc they don’t have the capacity to form real loving bonds with people, so they say what they think sounds appropriate. One of the many red flags with these narcissistic psychos.
This is the perfect example of child manipulation and it’s sickening. As a parent who has gone through a long drawn out custody battle with an emotionally abusive ex husband, which came out in the end it boiled down to not wanting to pay child support, I can see so many similarities in this case. But luckily I’m still here to tell my story. At the end of the day, children no matter their age shouldn’t be used as pawns to get what you want because the ones that are truly hurt in the end are the children and the lifelong damage it causes is sometimes irreparable 😢
It seems that 80% of men in divorce get to seeing things the same exact way. Thinking of all the money they'll owe without being able to control anything (they think) they're happy to bolt. But in this case why? I imagine she made as much money as he did, or more. I suppose he just purely hated her.
The split second switch from fake crying to just being casual was unbelievable. She manipulated the police because she learned how to manipulate from her dad.
I knew there was something weird about Karrie because when she called 911 she sounded like she was bawling her eyes out when talking about her mother, but literally half a second after she was like "oh yeah, my sister in my apartment now 😄💕"
@@OddityDK it sounded like she gave that answer right away and she did change her tone of voice which was a dead giveaway. Michele seemed like an amazing woman! Homeschooling three children, working as a professor, involved in charity work. What a loss. It disgusts me that her ex and daughter did this.
That’s why it doesn’t really seem worth it to sacrifice one’s entire self to raise one’s children. It doesn’t seem to gain the respect of your children or partner. In fact, it seems like the opposite.

@@GuyNamedSean Agree! No critical thinking skills allowed in a family dominated by a sociopath. Going against the abuser brings bad consequences. This kid wasn’t allowed to mature.
nah as someone who's dealt with a father like lloyd before she 100% wasn't okay with what they did. i imagine the only reason she did it is because of how much he'd brainwashed her into abiding by his every word. by the sound of it those kids have a lot of trauma from their father and her way of reacting to that trauma was through trauma bonding with her abuser. it's a survival mechanism that arises when you've been abused for a long period of time, and i really hope that she can get herself some help now that she's out and free from her father's influence.
As a mother who's son sides with his dad on everything this really made me sad 😞 if that poor woman knew the child she loved more than anything had been a part of a plan to kill her, it breaks my heart 💔
I know, right? She helps her father murder her mother, including watching him lift the body into the rope? Then seems to stay pretty cool for months, until the interrogation, and cops a plea deal, turning against the father to save her own skin. Hmmm....I wonder what's she's doing today?
I dunno. It's like the "Manson Girls." People aren't themselves when they're under the thrall of a cult-like leader. And in this case, it's not like the kid had a chance to be raised in a functional home and develop a stable identity and healthy personality. She was always around a guy who gets off on total control over others, including their life or death. She could be totally different once she's physically AND psychologically separated from her dad. But that could mean an unbearable onslaught of guilt once she finally reconciles what she did, as happened with some of the Manson Girls.
I heard she knows what you've been saying about her on social-media and wants to meet ya for a 1 on 1 to sort it out..6 feet apart and with masks of course. Quarantine style bare-knuckle bout..you in? (Be wary of her carrying a noose it's her preferred weapon of choice..I've heard!)😉

Right, It's clear the man groomed his three daughters from a very young age so I would not be surprised if he had a sexual relationship with his favorite one (if not all of them). What a vile pos.
The way the daughter's voice changes is bizarre, she nearly cried telling them about how he put a towel in her mouth then proceded to speak normally about the part where he strangled her.... Creepy as hell
I'm not defending her but it's not that bizarre. When listening to war vets tell stories or anyone talking about past traumatic events they usually go through a whole range of emotion. Chuckling one second and then choking up and crying the next second then straight deadpan talking. Emotions come in unpredictable waves. She probably intended to speak normally but it's hard to fight that lump in the throat when it shows up mid-sentence
@@TheIronDuke9 That makes sense! I didn't think of it that way but it actually makes a lot of sense. I guess I just thought something was off by the way she spoke but people do cope and react differently to situations, specially something like this

My little sister died some years back from an O.D. And a year ago my older sister got some fluke blood disease or something and was in a coma for a couple weeks. The DAY she got out of the coma, as my mother and I were leaving the hospital she said to me, "Thank God. Now I dont have to waste my time coming up here every day!" Not really, the confession and her cooperation is why she is free right now. I think she knew what she was doing when she confessed and asking for the lawyer after was just a "now you handle the rest" thing.
She's going to have a child of her own one day, & when she holds that baby in her arms after 9 months giving her body over to pregnancy, & the pain & sacrifice of giving birth, I hope when she feels that wonderful bond & that immense undeniable love she might finally understand how egregious her part in her mothers death actually was.
Some people aren’t built that way. I’d argue anyone who has the ability to do something like this to begin with, isn’t made with that kind of stuff. The stuff that separates humans from wild animals. I doubt she even has the ability to feel those emotions. Like people saying they hope Chris Watts thinks about what he did to those babies, and what the eldest said to him in her last words, every day for the rest of his miserable pathetic life. If it bothered him like it would the rest of us, he could have NEVER done it to begin with. Most of us couldn’t do to an animal what these sick asses do to their own flesh and blood. A child’s first bond is with its mother. Every bond after that is built on that bond (just like you defined in your comment). If that one is broken as clearly this one is, there’s no hope for the rest. Sociopaths don’t grow empathy much later in life.
Its ironic, these sociopaths and psychopaths are like a manual for human behavior. They’re not exactly representative of right and wrong morals, but of the distinction between the narcissistic actions and actions that are consistent with despair. Its strange how these folks hide themselves up until around the average age of 30ish years before making a criminal mistake and exposing their truest natures. Its strange they already know what “normal” people think and feel like but they cant have those in themselves. Its like watching an animal morph in front of you

Yes and no; he did but she also planned and allowed her father to kill her mother. The fact that the grandmother said there were constant family fights between the mother and daughter is alarming. It's easy for her to throw her father under the bus when she paints herself as the 'innocent daughter that was manipulated' lol, no sweety, any sane individual (no matter how manipulated they are would not allow their father to kill their mother unless they want it to happen...) It just doesn't add up ; >she knew her father would kill her mother >she had a horrible relationship with her mother >she planned it out with her father = 1 year in prison for conspiring to kill her own mother lol. Suicides very often don’t leave notes. It’s not nearly so common as most people, and the media, think. Many who do write notes don’t give much of an explanation or philosophical reflection.
@@birnamwoodfan Yeah- but a mother with an English Masters, and a sudden suicide, and a nutty ex, leaves a note and a will. It is very clearly completely out of character for her.
@@birnamwoodfan I've worked with a boatload of suicides over four decades-every single one left a note. The exceptions were some anomic suicides-those pushed into suicide like I've just taken our child and you will never find me with a loaded shot gun next to them or people who kill themselves as they are not 'good enough' to live and suicides that were staged.-not suicides. There are 2 (actually 4 but won't talk about fatalistic or altruistic for the sake of this) types of suicide-anomic ang egotistic. Egotistic suicides alway leave notes as their suicide are justified as due too another's actions and they wish for people to feel guilty for 'causing' their suicide-if you only stayed with me, I would not have had to kill myself or actually this guy if he had killed himself. Anomic suicides have a high bonding to others and a high internally developed moral structure and kill themselves because they did not do enough for others or were not good enough in their own view. People who are pushed into suicide would fall into the anomic group. It is this group where individuals are more likely not to leave a note and those who don't leave a note either commit suicide in a way that would be viewed as an accident-single-car wreck, suicide by cop, accidental overdose etc or those who believe they have not lived up to their moral expectations and covering this up all along-the secret gambler or child who has been bullied. A lot of anomic suicides will leave a note so others will not feel guilty about their deaths. Further, Mike is correct about method of suicide depending on gender. Men often choose methods that will leave a bloody mess-shotgun to the head or hanging-so there is no mistake while women use poison, overdose of drugs, car wrecks, drownings, etc. So, your suicides 'very often don't leave notes' can be ruled in or out as a suicide depending on these other considerations so no, a woman would not commit suicide by hanging herself from a balcony with her child there without a note in what obviously would be an anomic suicide.
The Police did a great job, looking at that messy house figuring out the crime scene. No question the father was a horrible person at the highest level especially recruiting the daughter. Her sentence was too light 1-3 years.
What a selfish man. Willing to sacrifice his daughter’s future for his own self gain. Yes, she was old enough to think for herself, but when your parent manipulates you to that degree, your willing to believe anything they say and do is for the best.
My dad was pretty emotionally abusive when I was younger. Also what would be considered physical abuse, but that didn’t phase me as much as what he would say and how he would yell for hours. I was terrified of him. But then he would still make me feel like he was my best friend. Very Machiavellian. It makes me wonder if he had this kind of evil in him, if I would have followed along. I’d like to think I wouldn’t. But I really don’t know. Thankfully, he is on treatment now for his moods and I’m an adult and have more power over how he treats me. We get along much more healthy now. I hope these girls can recover.
"She's just kind of standing there motionless. I can't really see, it's dark" only to find out she was hanging. ABSOLUTELY TERRIFYING
I said in an earlier reply that that sounded exactly like a scene from a Japanese horror movie. I can't even imagine...
And she'd been hanging there for over a day, in her own home. My heart 😢

Go watch the movie "1922"

The way I genuinely forgot about this though.
Exactly what I was thinking!
1-3 was too light of a sentence. She was an adult, she knew what they had planned, done & then spoke about fake crying!! Mercy is 1 thing…slap on the wrist is another! She needed to take more responsibility. If not for her…the MURDER would have not taken place at that very moment!
Nope! Cold as fucking ice. Not even an ounce of hesitation or a tremble in the voice. She didn't give a shite until she was caught.
Ew they way he talks to his daughter. Makes me think something else worse about him
their grandma did say he was sexually abusive but she didn't clarify if that was towards her daughter or grandkids. Maybe her daughter told her someone was being sexually abused but because it's her husband, maybe she didn't wanna disclose who. Maybe that's why Karrie was his favorite and why the mom decided to keep Karrie with her, ugh I don't even like thinking about it

Actually, that’s not true.

“😭😭😭😭.. “

I thought that was weird too, like weren't you just near tears 😳
Instandt red flag that tone change
i know in a split second she went from distraught to totally at ease, it’s honestly scary 😦
The split second switch from fake crying to just being casual was unbelievable. She manipulated the police because she learned how to manipulate from her dad.

@@Tracymmo It's actually a common form of address in the U.K, and has no sexual connotations, but is used for both the opposite gender and in a unisex way for children. The same goes fir "love," "dear," " my love," " my lovely" or if you're in Devon, "my lover." "Sweetie" is derived from "sweeting." It only appears to be considered sexual by the younger generation but has literally been around for hundreds of years.

Wooooow... The daughter's lack of emotion when she's talking with her dad about lying to the police. It's so awful.
She was trained from birth to shut off her mind when dealing with Daddy. Do as Daddy says and ask no questions.
Her own lawyer looked bored and unconvinced when she 'cried' while giving her statement.
@@GuyNamedSean Agree! No critical thinking skills allowed in a family dominated by a sociopath. Going against the abuser brings bad consequences. This kid wasn’t allowed to mature.
And now she's out...
nah as someone who's dealt with a father like lloyd before she 100% wasn't okay with what they did. i imagine the only reason she did it is because of how much he'd brainwashed her into abiding by his every word. by the sound of it those kids have a lot of trauma from their father and her way of reacting to that trauma was through trauma bonding with her abuser. it's a survival mechanism that arises when you've been abused for a long period of time, and i really hope that she can get herself some help now that she's out and free from her father's influence.
As a mother who's son sides with his dad on everything this really made me sad 😞 if that poor woman knew the child she loved more than anything had been a part of a plan to kill her, it breaks my heart 💔
She snapped out of it though.
The daughter sounds extremely dangerous. They should keep a close eye on her.
She’s the kind of woman who becomes a serial killer’s accomplice.
Anyone who can do that to their own mother (!!) AND behave normally afterwards is a psychopath with no feelings.

Exactly my thoughts. I have a feeling he did something to that child when she was younger.

You can "feel" her rotten presence when you enter a room. Without even seeing her, you KNOW if she's around. She's so full of negative energy that it literally fills a household. It's disgusting.
My little sister died some years back from an O.D. And a year ago my older sister got some fluke blood disease or something and was in a coma for a couple weeks. The DAY she got out of the coma, as my mother and I were leaving the hospital she said to me, "Thank God. Now I dont have to waste my time coming up here every day!" She already lost one daughter and then had the audacity to say THAT when a 2nd child of hers almost died. They had a priest in to read her her final rights and everything (or whatever it's called, lol). Just disgusting.
And she always says she would have had 15 children if my father hadnt been sent away to prison. She didnt even like or appreciate the 4 that she had.

savage but so damn true!
Beautiful comment by the way. Clearly you have a deep and clear understanding of that bond, and are also built of the right stuff. X
Its like watching an animal morph in front of you
I hope she never have kids.
I laughed so hard at how Lloyd didn't jump from the ledge at that parking lot. Next thing he's being tackled to the ground. That was truly fucking funny!!! 😂

I feel like he groomed his daughter... something seems off.
Yes and no; he did but she also planned and allowed her father to kill her mother.
The fact that the grandmother said there were constant family fights between the mother and daughter is alarming.
It's easy for her to throw her father under the bus when she paints herself as the 'innocent daughter that was manipulated' lol, no sweety, any sane individual (no matter how manipulated they are would not allow their father to kill their mother unless they want it to happen...)
It just doesn't add up ; >she knew her father would kill her mother >she had a horrible relationship with her mother >she planned it out with her father = 1 year in prison for conspiring to kill her own mother lol. She knew exactly what she was doing.
Yea I don't know what to think of her really. Parental alienation is a real thing though, so perhaps she could have been brainwashed by him that her mum was this monster who was ruining their lives etc. Xx
@@RuskiVodkaaaa parental manipulation is extremely powerful. If the parent you live with and trust demonizes the other constantly you will grow to hate them until you mature enough to realize you've been weaponized. why is everyone seemingly missing the part where it mentions he was sexually abusive? I wonder if it was towards the mother, the daughter, or possibly both.
Because people are fucking soulless bloodthirsty bastards and blind to seeing he clearly was abusive towards the daughter and that’s the only reason she went along with it. Those years when she was confessing with her lawyer right there was real. She had no reason to crocodile tear there. But people are cruel bastards who don’t think people can be remorseful so they assume the worst of her

@@briannawaldorf8485 How do you know she's remorseful? Because she cried? Because she cried in a way that convinced you? In that case, why bother having the law at all? Love the reference!
Very true
Michele was an English professor with a Masters. She would have left a note. Can Karrie cry? -- no not really. Super fake.
Suicides very often don’t leave notes. It’s not nearly so common as most people, and the media, think. Many who do write notes don’t give much of an explanation or philosophical reflection.
@@birnamwoodfan Yeah. I know many cases without any message. Too many of my friends have chosen that way out.
Professors would left a note. Aha, cool story! Thats one of the biggest bs i ever heard.
The phone calls reminded me of the calls you used to hear on "To catch a predator" whenever the dad spoke.
