I took 2 cups powdered sugar to 1 cup cocoa powder, mixed that up and put it in a mason jar. I add it to my tea to make a chocolate tea. I didn't know to add any cornstarch. I think I'll go through it pretty quickly. I add like 2 tsps to the bottom of the cup, add my tea bag, and pour hot water over it. Mix it up and add some half and half. Comes out great.

It's fun to have a cup of hot cocoa sometimes, and being able to pronounce every ingredient is important.

Hi Sandy, it's Joe. Looks like a really good recipe. Store bought isn't much good for you. When you showed that label the first thing
that i saw was maltodextrin. A definite no-no. I like chocolate but i was never a cocoa drinker. I would indulge if it was offered.
    ( wink wink ) 😲Mostly water and coffee for me ......................... 😎👍👍

Another great video, Sandy. Right now, I'm trying to figure out if I would be allergic to tomatoes or citric acid after just having symptoms and reaction to citrus. I've researched it, but I'm a bit confused. I was just wondering if you may have insight or thoughts about it? You're so smart, and you're full of good information. Thank you ❤

Awe, I am sorry to hear you are having some issues, Julia. I know that some people have issues with eating tomatoes and other nightshade vegetables. I think you should start keeping a food journal so you know what you have eaten when you have a reaction.

@sandysteinbrook well for sure, I have citrus allergies. I've been eating an orange daily for about 2 months after covid in November, plus my lemon water, plus a whole lemon/ seeds and peel also mixed with water and blueberries. Symptoms popped up here and there, but I didn't make the connection until it was full-blown, red and inflamed face, nausea, loose bowels etc... now I'm researching all citrus products ie...citric acid, ascorbic acid, citrus flavoring, limonene, and others. And not just in food, but my hair and skin products as well. I've always been a label reader, but now I'm a detective, lol. Most likely, TMI but I wanted to share the possible reasons that I'm leary now of every food, and tomatoes were just on my radar. Thank you, Sandy. God's blessings to you 🙏
