    Omg this cacao is amazing. I just brought it the taste is unlike anything I’ve ever tried before. Thank you for sharing. For dieters the macros are nothing to sneeze at so something to take into consideration when adding this to your diet.

      So happy to hear that! Yes, ceremonial has cacao contains all the nutrients (full healthy fats). I usually have 20-30 grams in morning with collagen which is around 200 calories but it sustains me for a long time and I even workout after. I advise you have it on an empty stomach not as an after meal drink :) again, so glad you are enjoying it 😊

Last time I was in a doctors office was 1969. I don't drink soda, juice or alcohol so I just need something other than tea to drink. THANKS for showing the brand.

      Collagen peptides can withstand heat up to 572°F, making collagen one of the few protein powders that's good for cooking and baking. Cacao does contain caffeine, approximately 4-5 milligrams per teaspoon, which I learned from cooking and baking professionally.

      @@loribakergirl6438 Yes, I found that its alertness effects are subtle and gentle. It gives me no jolt or jittery feeling like coffee did. I also drink some green tea, but get most of my beneficial alertness from cacao. It helps me to limit what I sweeten it with (being diabetic). Going from coffee to cacao will take a transition period, but I've found that cacao won't disrupt your quality of sleep like coffee tends to. Would you be able to tell me how many calories are in one cup using the same recipe?

    • @CoachSofia
      @CoachSofia  Год назад +2

      Yes, I use 20 grams (85 calories of Kakao). In the package, it says 1 serving is 40 grams. But I actually find that 20 g. is enough for me. I also use about half a cup of unsweetened almond milk (around 35 calories) and the collagen has about 20 (which is all protein). Because the cacao is full fat, it keeps me full for hours when I have it with the protein. So I don't really worry about the calories, if I'm eating light for the rest of the day.

      The company I get this cacao from does tests to make sure it's not contaminated. You can read how they do that on their website, but yes it's important to get high quality chocolate and ensure the company tests for these things.

    • @CoachSofia

      From my understanding and videos I watched of how cacao is made, the beans have to go through a fermentation process then you stone grind them so they becomes powder. The website of this brand explain the process as well.

    WHAT type of almond milk are you using...doesn't seem to be alot out there that don't have all kinds of "gums" and extra ingredients NOT needed in your ceremonial cup.
    WHAT is the PUREST ie the LEAST amount of ingredients in an almond milk can be purchased? Can you post a link? I can't find any

    • @CoachSofia
      @CoachSofia  Год назад +1

      Most of the time I just use hot water and I blend it to make it creamy. I use almond milk once in a while. I try to buy ones from local organic store with as little of those ingredients as possible. You can also make homemade almond milk. But again, just use water and a blender and you don't need any milk.

    • @alanharrison573
      @alanharrison573 2 месяца назад

      Most almond milk contains only about 10% almond. Rip off.

    do you have a favorite Cacao "nib" you like over others? Please share ty

    • @CoachSofia
      @CoachSofia  Год назад

      I use nibs now just for recipes or to make a regular hot chocolate drink. Ceremonial chocolate is different from any high-quality nibs I've tried. That being said, I like to use 'Navita'' or 'Organic Traditions' for better quality cacao. Ceremonial cacao can't be found at the regular stores right now because it's sourced directly from farmers and is a wild strain without any processing.
