I'm not gonna lie, I completely forgot what Shock State did until now.
One of the better Ky guides I've seen recently. The combo montage showing off the air normal sequence in both homing jump and regular air-to-air scenarios is super helpful. Hope this blows up!

Love the way you did the combo section, particularly starting with cS-2H-Dire Eclat and then adding additional steps later. It's much more comfortable to think of combos that way instead of starting from the whole thing!
This is the first guide I watched when I started playing the game some days ago, and I completely ignored it thinking you were going to show anything that "deep", and here I am, coming back to it to learn the basics after getting stucked on floor 8. Those combos at the end of the video look really simple and useful at the same time. I love this.

Thank you for the guide i love your video, i hope in the future you can show combos how to trap people in the corner and his pressure game! I love him and never gave up on him when i first started the game, though people told me to use other advantage characters ill stick with ky.

Great guide to all the fundamentals to Ky, really appreciate the small amount of frame data you added! I've never bothered to try out Ky too much as I greatly prefer Happy Chaos, but your video definately will help me out if I ever decide to play him!
Edit: Forgot to mention the combo montage, that is also a really helpful inclusion for learning some good Ky pressure!

honestly it took me way too long to pick ky up, i have noticed that my favourite characters in fighting games usually have wakeup multihit projectiles and thats like, half of ky's whol thing. i just didnt play him cause i had some dumb idea that he was mr box art shoto man for people who like water without ice and stale bread

That's definitely true, if I were to redo this guide, I would add button inputs to the screen with the moves on them, or put more emphasis on the motion input in the clips.
