Thank freaking god I found a video that actually beginner friendly. Many a times have I found fighting games or guilty gear beginner guides that talk as if the begginers already know what all of the jargons they use mean, as if we're expected to know a single thing about fighting games even though some of those videos claim to be guides for complete beginners on fighting games. It is highly frustrating and discouraging to see those videos, but at least yours was different and informative.

A couple of months ago I started with dbfz but got bored with learning combo after combo because I thought I needed that before playing matches. Thanks to your video I've learned that that is by far not the most important part which means getting one or two combos down is enough for the start. Also this game is a 1v1 which means less things I have to worry about when starting compared to dbfz. Thanks again for the video. I feel like in order to rlly learn this game, is by overall practice/trial and error. Believe it or not practicing in an online game rlly helps, even if ur on a loosing streak you can make note of what your doing wrong and figure out why your getting punished and all that, I feel like I had to get destroyed and go on a loosing streak before i can get a feel for the game, so to anyone who looses a bunch of matches over and over, it’s not that your bad there’s a learning curb with this game. If ur on a loosing streak even if it’s a big one. Don’t quit because as terrible as it feels, it’s part of the learning process

You just earned a sub my friend I’ve been trying my best to grasp this game and most of my trouble is coming from combos not necessarily the inputs but more of what abilities to combo together

to be honest dud I always love you way of explaining. thing and dividing a complicated mechanic / setup into understandable and useable data
so if you were to do more guilty gear strive I'd love to see you make
    -match analysis
    -character guides
    -counter play guide
    -game plans
    -mechanic explaining
and more wish best of luck mate

dude this is a great video. you nailed it. I'd really love to get into strive but I haven't seriously played guilty gear since X2 back in 2005. This video helped me figure out where to start.

Your video inspired me to buy the game. I’ve tried to learn fighting games many times but they never seem to click with me. I’m going to give it another chance because I hate seeing these awesome looking games come out and just feel left out.

Great video like always. I always know that when I watch a RathFGC video, it's compact, to the point and doesn't teach unnecessary things or talks about combos and shit that doesn't help me.

I'd love to see a Ky specific video. I've been playing fighterz since launch and I got decent at the game (I'm ranked UI Sign), I'm branching out to GG but it's scary hehe. Ky seems cool and easier to get into than the rest of the cast so I'd like to be able to master him as soon as possible. Great vid as always man, keep it up!

Just after watching this video, i finally get my first real combo(by real i mean a combo that would be useful in a real match).
Even if it was only in training mode i still gained a lot of confidence and even if i lose, i feel like i can keep going and get better.

3:20 weirdly enough, as a keyboard player I actually prefer the double tap to the macro, because having my left hand focused entirely on 4 buttons and 4 buttons _only_, feels much more natural

    It would be kinda cool
Watching you play some matches, and do an analysis of your own matches like dbfz. I'd think that be interesting.
